Family stay here, enjoying one of the three bed villas with private pool. Lovely, well looked after resort with very well appointed accommodation. The view from our patio/garden was gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed having the ample, private space whilst also benefit from the communal facilities of the wider resort hotel.

This is our third holiday here. I am not the kind of person to keep coming back to the same place but we love the staff, the children are well looked after by Bea and well loved. Bea is like part of our family, she deserves a medal for being fun and lovely every day. We love having the luxury of our own villa with the communal areas and pools too. The staff are so friendly and our room is cleaned too high standard every day. We have 3 young boys and I feel so comfortable being here. The hot tub in our garden is great in the day and on a night to get some quality time as a couple. Thank you for remembering us and being so lovely. The spa is relaxing with tailored treatments and my husband has enjoyed the gym

Fantastic place! Beautiful villas and view from ours was amazing. Staff is so so friendly and good fun, and keeped my 3 teens happy with their jokes. Breakfast was delicious, versatile and plenty. Something I really looked forward to every morning. Very nice and quiet, and more so after we leave…. 🤭

We knew we were going to get married in Tenerife but wanted it to be personal and unique. We met with the team and went through every detail. Our big day came and the day was incredible, from the food whilst I was getting ready with my bridesmaids, to the ceremony, canapés, drinks and private wedding reception partying into the night with our guests in one of the villa gardens. We had the most attentive staff, drinks were never empty, tummies filled with the most incredible food cooked in the villa garden on a barbecue. Kids entertained with the pool, even some of the adults ended up taking a dip. Nothing was too much trouble, the whole team were amazing and our Wedding day will be the highlight of our lives for years to come. We stayed at the Hotel Villa Maria for a week during the May half term. 2 adults 3 kids (13, 10 & 5) The positives The hybrid feel of the resort is nice. It’s part villa part hotel so offers the best of both worlds Our villa was cleaned to a very high standard every day The beds were comfortable although they are all single beds - so if you’re expecting a double it’s just 2 pushed together Breakfast was plentiful and varied with something for everyone and prepared to a good standard They offer options for pillows which is good because the ones they supply are awful There are plenty of things for younger kids to do Staff are pleasant and friendly WiFi was good The negatives The pool for our villa (13) was small but there are a couple of bigger main pools if needed. Food from the menu is varied and cooked well but is expensive for what it is (tomato and mozzarella salad 16 €) The back door to our villa didn’t lock properly and had to be repaired twice. Worth checking as I believe there was a break in at a villa once. The hot water in the villa was either scalding hot or cold. Maintenance couldn’t fix it satisfactorily and overall the showers weren't great There were no TV channels working You have to pay to use the gym The spa was ok but the ‘fun’ kids treatments are massively overpriced The hotel is at the top of a hill and whilst the walk into La Caleta is pleasant enough, the walk back with kids is not - 100% get a car (but not from TopCar) All in all it’s a nice resort but is not a 5 star resort - probably a 4. Areas are of a very high standard but it’s got work to do.
