I don't know who writes positive reviews for this hotel, I had food poisoning and we were staying with 2 small children even in the total stench and smell, the cleaning lady come there only after out everyday request on the reception

I think we got what we expected but our expectations weren't high. We were 4 adults in a double room and the only issue was the appalling water pressure. Sometimes only a dribble of hot. That said, the room was kept clean, it had air conditioning, and a fridge. The hotel was clean, with pleasant helpful staff. The pool area was kept clean and clear. Prices for drinks were ok. Restaurant. Again, clean and dishes cleared quickly. Breakfast buffet was not particularly good. Evening buffet was invariably very good with a wide range, (within those expectations) Location I thought was fantastic. Beach 2 mins walk. Restaurants and entertainment both left and right. Shops and bars all within 5 mins walking. Corfu town, 30 mins by bus. 10 euros if you take the tourist bus which drops you right in the old town. 6 euros is you take the public bus but this drops you in the new town and picks you up further away. Go for the tourist bus; it's just easier. What you save in cash you lose buying drinks because you've walked across town. Overall Seabird is between 3 and 4 review stars. What they lose in water pressure and breakfast they make up for in dinner, cleanliness, and location. It's a 3 star hotel with no pretensions but I would recommend it especially if you're on a budget ( like taking your adult children on holiday !!)

My favorite thing about the hotel is the staff. Really very very nice and friendly! The location is great, very close both to the beach and to the nearby town, restaurants and supermarkets are just a few steps away. Rooms are nice and clean. The food is not bad, however there's no variety and if you're vegetarian, there are no vegetarian protein options.

Stayed two weeks here in the Sea Bird. Had an ok experience. Was worried for the first night as we had a room directly near the road, and there was noise from the street all night long (and that's no exaggeration!). I really wonder why there were motorbikes going up and down and around the little road again and again, all night. Not a wink of sleep for us. But the staff were FANTASTIC, and moved us to a room at the back of the hotel the very next morning, which was much better, least we got get a good nights kip. Issue quickly dealt with by the staff, which was very impressive. The best thing about this hotel is that it is so close to the beach. A quick walk out the hotel gate and viola, you are smack bang in the middle of Moraitika beach. Brilliant. It is also quite close to the main street of the small town. The location of the hotel is excellent. Staff are friendly enough, polite, cordial if more than anything which is fair enough. Cleaning staff are very friendly, and cleaned our room on a regular basis throughout the two weeks. Overall the staff, from front of house, to the waiting staff, the cleaning staff, et al, are all very hardworking, and you can see they all put their heart and soul into their work, which is always nice to see. Looks like it is a family run operation as well. Place had a swing and slide for the young of heart, which was handy for our wee fella. And the swimming pool is decent, but with the beach so close nearby its hardly worth it. Our room was fine, double bed (two beds together), simple enough, nothing fancy which is fine for us, nice hot shower (that did flood the floor), cool fridge, tv. Nice view from balcony. Did the business for us. I have to mention the food. We had paid for half board so got breakfast and lunch. To be utterly frank, the food is rubbish. Same stuff every day, badly cooked (how do you burn scrambled eggs?), cheap processed food. They also seem to get rid of the stuff at lunch that wasn't eaten during breakfast, re some rather interesting "pizzas", lol. Most of the comments here mention how bad and dull the food was. Perhaps the chef is an old family member that thinks he/she is the next Michelin star. Man, they should do better with the food. For the price we paid for it, you can get much better fare on the main drag. And that's what we eventually did for lunch near the end. Deciding to eat out for lunch. They have a small bar as well. Had a pint in it which was a little pricey. Bar was a bit dead in terms of atmosphere, which is a shame. Anyway overall the stay was ok. The food wasn't great, but the room was fine, the short walk to the beach was great, the staff were friendly and always willing to help, and we enjoyed our stay in Moraitika. Basically Seabird hotel is a decent enough place for what you pay. Would I stay there again? Yes, but without the food!

My rate is influenced by the expectations I had when I went there - and these were not high expectations, given the fact it was a last minute trip at a very low cost. The standard is not one of the highest- so if one is very careful about it I would not recommend the hotel - rooms & bathrooms are not that new and modern, there is only one pool and the place around the hotel is not very large. However, if you are interested in a place where you can sleep, shower and eat breakfast - that one will be fine. Room was clean, breakfast was good - bread, cheese, ham, vegetables, croissants with jam/honey, eggs/sausages, tea& coffee. The dinner was served in the evening, the choice was not always wide if you do not eat some products (e.g. some days meat included only pork/fish). The staff was very friendly, helpful, and kind. The hotel is located nearby nice beach, close to supermarket which is very well-stocked, and close to the bus stop which enables easy access to Kerkyra.
