We stayed here from 17/10 to 24/10 and became poorly after 2 days, having not left the hotel at all for the first 48 hours. We asked at reception whether anyone else had reported sickness or diarrhoea and were told they hadn’t - but the latest reviews suggest otherwise! And we overheard other guests towards the end of our stay, who we believe were also struggling. We had to leave the hotel on our third day in order to seek medical advice and although this did help, it didn’t resolve the issue or discomfort. From the 3rd day onwards we only drank bottled water, didn’t drink water from the water machine, asked for no ice in our drinks and ate pretty blandly from the restaurant - not what you want on your holiday! Aside from the sickness and diarrhoea, the hotel itself is lovely and is in a great location - not far from the airport or the Medina, yet you can barely hear the hustle and bustle in the tranquil gardens. The large pool is cold, with the quiet pool slightly warmer, but both have plenty of sunbeds around them and lots of sun beds in the gardens too which are lovely. The hotel does not have enough pool towels for every guest to have a clean towel every day, which we found out the hard way and had to wait until after 2pm for a new towel after handing a dirty one in the previous day. As with most all inclusives, the food becomes repetitive but there was always choice and a different theme every night. The room was of a good standard, although a couple of basics are missing (eg there is only one hook in the whole room, so not enough to hang your towels or jackets, yet they’d like you to reuse your shower towels?). The housekeeping team did keep everything pretty spotless.

First impressions of the hotel were really good and the staff are all very polite and lovely. As we arrived after the restaurant had closed they kept it open for us with a small selection available to be able to eat after a long journey, which was nice. The sunbeds are a bone of contention. The hotel states that you cannot reserve beds and anyone that does will have their towels removed. This doesn't happen, so if you want a bed by the pool be prepared to get up early or wait for something to become available. Having said that, as long as you don't mind not being by the pool there are beautiful gardens that have lots of loungers dotted around the place. The food was disappointing there was no cohesion to the dishes being put together and on themed nights, the food was quite bizarre. We had a seafood night but there were only 3 dishes on offer! Fried fish (which was there every day anyway), salmon and a seafood stew, which was only luke warm. The chefs dish of the day was braised beef and mash potatoes, on seafood night....! They say the sheets are changed once per week but ours weren't, so we had to request they be changed after 9 days. I personally wouldn't go back to this hotel, and even people that had been going there for years said this is the worst it's been.

Dreadful Trip *please read* There is much to like about the hotel and on the whole the staff were very nice, but! We were both very poorly with sickness/diarrhoea/food poisoning. By the end we had missed 5 of our 7 days through illness along with nearly all the guests. The hotel were very unsympathetic and brushed it off, but when more and more people got poorly they started to take it seriously, to a point. They still never admitted fault but I asked a member of staff and videoed it. He said the water had been contaminated by a filter not being replaced! TUI and the hotel have still not said anything. Some of the guest ended up in hospital on their return needing drips and further care! The food was very suspect on occasions and often looked like it had been left out for a long time or for the second time. All guest discussed this because of the illness you start to worry. We had a Jacuzzi on our balcony which we didn't use because it has a film of filth floating on the surface. The staff were on the whole pretty good, but some of the male staff were a little sullen and arrogant. A particular example of this was a waiter who worked outside, Ayoub. He was dreadfully arrogant and served drinks like he was paying for them out his own pocket. We sat chatting with a Dutch couple who laughed at how awful he was. I had to repeatedly ask for a drink and he would then serve everybody else, but not me. If it hadn't been so rude it would have been funny how childish his behaviour was! The Culinarium cafe was an absolute high point. This was run with military precision. The food and drinks were good quality and plentiful. I congratulate the lady who runs it. Today TUI and the hotel are denying everything. I would avoid a hotel in North Africa that acts like this one has and a travel operator who treats it's customers with such contempt.

I don’t usually write long reviews, but after my experience here I feel people deserve an honest picture of what’s been happening. My partner and I stayed at the end of October, and like so many other guests we became unwell shortly after arrival. Every day there were more and more people with the same symptoms. Despite this, both the hotel and TUI kept saying there was “no issue,” which was honestly the most upsetting and frustrating part. When you’re sick in a foreign country, you just want honesty and reassurance — not denial. There were also quite a few hygiene concerns that I couldn’t ignore. Hand sanitiser stations left empty for days even after reporting them, people entering the kitchen area without any PPE or gloves, and tables being “cleaned” by brushing crumbs off the same linen instead of replacing it. When you’re unwell and unsure what’s causing it, seeing things like that really knocks your confidence. I do want to mention that some staff were genuinely lovely. A couple of the chefs went out of their way to cook plain food for me when I couldn’t eat anything else, and housekeeping were so kind bringing extra toilet roll and clean towels when I needed them. Their kindness really stood out during a very stressful week. It’s a real shame because the hotel itself is lovely. The grounds are beautiful, the location is great for getting into Marrakech, and it’s very handy for the airport. But between the lack of transparency, the ongoing sickness, and the hygiene issues I witnessed, our holiday ended up being more about managing symptoms, eating extremely plain food, and trying not to get worse — rather than actually relaxing or enjoying any of the amenities we went there for. I truly hope TUI and the hotel take this seriously, because what’s happening here is not normal and guests deserve better. This place has potential to be amazing, but the issues we experienced were impossible to ignore.

Hello. Just finished our holiday for a week here and what a time it was. Before i start my review, l just have to give a massive special shout out to Mohammad who works at the main bar, he was the highlight of the holiday and he was so friendly. He is the best bar tender ever and the best member of the staff on the hotel! Thanks so much Mohammad for your service and for making lots of Sweet Lady's cocktails for me. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, the relax pool has chill vibes and the big pool has lots of fun activities hosted by the great entertainment team. The staff were amazing they made the trip. The rooms were spotless clean. The location of the hotel was amazing. The food was amazing too and the chefs often came round asking if we're were enjoying the meals. One night the general manager came round at the evening entertainment to introduce himself. This was a nice touch too. Would recommend this hotel.
