Hello. Just finished our holiday for a week here and what a time it was. Before i start my review, l just have to give a massive special shout out to Mohammad who works at the main bar, he was the highlight of the holiday and he was so friendly. He is the best bar tender ever and the best member of the staff on the hotel! Thanks so much Mohammad for your service and for making lots of Sweet Lady's cocktails for me. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, the relax pool has chill vibes and the big pool has lots of fun activities hosted by the great entertainment team. The staff were amazing they made the trip. The rooms were spotless clean. The location of the hotel was amazing. The food was amazing too and the chefs often came round asking if we're were enjoying the meals. One night the general manager came round at the evening entertainment to introduce himself. This was a nice touch too. Would recommend this hotel.

Medina Gardens is a must stay if visiting Marrakech! This was our home while in Marrakech and we didn't want to leave! From the welcome drinks (hot Moroccan mint tea) to the friendly staff, we were made to feel at home on arrival, check in was easy and bags were taken to our rooms by the staff. There are two lifts and stairs to all the room floors. The main reception has plenty of comfy seating and is large with beautiful decoration. There is a TUI desk which is staffed during the day to help with excursions and any other help needed. The main reception desk is staffed always and only need to dial 9 from your room for any advice or help. The gardens are well maintained at the entrance and all throughout the hotel grounds. There is a herb garden, beautiful trees and plants, an indoor fountain by the piano and an outside fountain by the shaded seating area. Also I'm not sure if there were two peacocks but definitely saw one roaming the gardens, three tortoises we spotted in the bottom enclosed garden and a few cats catching the rays on the loungers! There are two pools with loungers all around them, one relaxing pool near the back of the gardens which we used for an early swim before breakfast! The biggest pool is right in front of you as you step out from the main building and plenty of other seating and there are daybeds close to it. Honestly the hotel exceeded our expectations and everyone we met greeted us with a smile and a friendly hello or bonjour!

WOW is all I can say. We came here last 9 years ago and loved it then but our trip was overshadowed by a death of a close family member close to our holiday so this time we were hoping to put those spirits to rest and this hotel is amazing. It was good 9 years ago but now it is amazing. It deserves a 5* rating. The food is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful although I would recommend paying the extra for a balcony as our room has no balcony and looks out onto a back alley and corrugated roof which if you don’t spend time in you room is fine but if you like to sit out or watch the world go by is not good. The staff are absolutely fantastic all of them and it’s not fair to single any one person out they are all amazing. Only two feedbacks to give. 1. In restaurant it’s not nice to sit next table to where they scrape the food waste and dirty plates are stacked by staff/ sorry but that is very off putting when eating your meal. Maybe need to rethink this. And 2. Please could you consider some snacks such as crisps or nuts around the bar happy to pay but would be nice to snack on. Xx

Medina Gardens – 4.5/5 We had a fantastic stay at Medina Gardens. The staff were outstanding — probably the friendliest I’ve experienced at any hotel. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone leaned into delivering excellent hospitality, with the exception of one barman during the day who wasn’t as approachable, but this didn’t take away from the overall great experience. The rooms were pretty good. Some areas looked a little dated and could benefit from a deep clean or a fresh coat of paint, but they were comfortable overall. The food was generally ok. I did have a bit of an upset stomach during the stay, which I can only assume was linked to some of the food, as I mainly drank water. The gardens and outdoor areas were excellent — really well looked after, with staff constantly tending to them. I especially liked seeing the on-site growing of vegetables and herbs. Finally, the location was ideal — just a 10-minute walk to the unique and vibrant centre. Would definitely recommend Medina Gardens for a friendly and well-located stay.

Just returned from a weeks holiday. My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at the hotel. All staff were amazing. The rooms and the hotel are immaculate. The food is 1st class. Entertainment varied and excellent. There is literally nothing not to like with this hotel. Its so relaxing yet so close to the city centre. We have already booked to return next year.
