I recently stayed at Riu Turquoise Hotel with my family and kids, and we had an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing, and perfect for families. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The food options were excellent with a good variety to keep everyone happy—including the kids! The entertainment team was fantastic, always full of energy and offering activities throughout the day. What we loved most was how family-friendly the entire resort is. The kids had a great time at the pool and RUILand, and we could truly relax knowing they were enjoying themselves in a safe and fun environment. Overall, our stay at Riu Turquoise was memorable, enjoyable, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommended for families looking for a stress-free and fun holiday experience!

We had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The views were beautiful, and it was very easy to find sunbeds both by the ocean and the pools. There was plenty of greenery around, creating a calm and refreshing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help or accommodate any requests. The food selection was impressive, with wide variety of cuisines and plenty of fish options. The hotel also offers diverse entertaiment, so there is always smth to do. Overall, a very enjoyable and comforteble stay.

Very disappointed with our stay at Riu. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt cold and disorganized. The lobby was crowded, no welcome drinks, no refreshing towels, nobody offering help with luggage. Check-in was rushed with barely any information given, and nobody showed us to our room. We had to ask for help ourselves, and one luggage staff member just pointed where to go instead of helping. Thankfully another staff member finally assisted us. We came mainly to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and had informed the hotel in advance, but reception had no idea about it when we asked. We were also surprised that the birthday cake was charged separately despite being on an all-inclusive package. Not the end of the world, but other hotels we stayed at usually make an effort for special occasions. The biggest disappointment for my daughter was the kids water park. I had been hyping it up for a whole week before coming, only to find it broken, dirty, and with frogs swimming in it. Really unacceptable for a family resort. Service throughout the hotel felt poor and impersonal. At the restaurant, I asked a waiter for a cappuccino while sitting outside and was told to walk to the main hall bar to get it myself. It may sound small, but when you’ve experienced the level of service other Mauritian hotels provide, this feels lazy. Most of the buffet food was also bland. The room phone never worked during the stay. The balcony was constantly soaked because of wind and rain, making it impossible to relax outside. Another frustrating point: nobody explained properly that although checkout from the room is at 12:00, guests can still enjoy the facilities and lunch until 15:00. Since nobody told us, we had already called a taxi from far away and had to leave early, pulling my daughter out of the pool unnecessarily. It was also impossible to book the steakhouse restaurant, which defeats the purpose of paying for all-inclusive when you’re stuck eating the buffet every day. I’ve stayed in many hotels across Mauritius, from budget to luxury, and this honestly did not feel like the warm Mauritian hospitality people usually come here for. Overall, very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the expectations.

We had a really good experience at Riu Turquoise Hotel. The service was amazing from start to finish, and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The food was very good, the hotel itself is lovely, and the gym was great too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Before coming here, I had read some of the negative reviews and honestly felt a bit nervous. But my experience at RIU Turquoise was absolutely perfect. I’m a 28-year-old woman and was traveling alone. I felt completely safe at all times during my stay. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was of great quality and very diverse, Ghislain, the chef at the grill buffet, was amazing! The beach is stunning, very spacious, and never felt crowded. Because I enjoyed my stay so much, I even extended it by two more nights. During my entire stay, there was only one day with stronger, slightly uncomfortable wind. On all other days it was either calm or there was a very pleasant, light breeze. The room was comfortable and very clean. The sea view is absolutely worth it! A big thank you to Prosperous from housekeeping for the great work and kindness. Thank you for everything. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying here.
