Very nice hotel with amazing, friendly and supporting staff. The location is bit windy, but if you’re okay with that or you love watersports, you’ll be grand - the island is pretty humid so wind can give you some relief as well. And if it’s too much, you can always cave yourself around pool area. And the region itself is beautiful. The only downside is - it’s a bit far from everything, but the island is pretty small, so it’s a good excuse to go on some excursions :-) also, excellent nurse and doctor service on site as well as security on the beach. Although the island is a pretty safe place in general.

I’ve been to RIU Turquoise numerous times and decided to try RIU Palace for the first time. I was not disappointed!!! RIU Palace Mauritius offers an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels elegant, calm, and thoughtfully curated. The resort is beautifully designed, the rooms are spacious and impeccably maintained, and every detail reflects a high standard of comfort and quality. The service is warm, attentive, and professional, making the stay feel truly effortless. Dining is a highlight, with a refined ambiance and a great variety of well-prepared dishes. The surroundings are stunning, creating the perfect setting to relax and unwind. Overall, RIU Palace Mauritius delivers a luxurious and serene stay that exceeds expectations. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined all-inclusive experience in Mauritius.

We stayed for two nights and were very satisfied with the service throughout our stay. All of the staff were friendly, and I’d especially like to give extra praise to the employees working at the pool bar. Thanks to them, we were able to enjoy a truly relaxing and enjoyable time. The buffet was decent, although the daily menu was quite similar each day. That said, there was still a wide variety of food options, and the beverage service was very good. One evening, we made a reservation at one of the restaurants, and the different atmosphere made it a very enjoyable and satisfying dining experience. We also loved spending our evenings watching the nightly performances. Although we didn’t get a chance to visit it, the fact that there is a 24-hour sports bar is very appealing. The selection of alcoholic beverages was excellent, allowing us to enjoy a wide variety during our stay.

Hotel and grounds are well maintained to a high standard. Rooms were cleaned very well. Staff were very attentive and the New Year's Eve Gala Dinner was a feast with a wide variety of food and drinks. Thank you to the Chef(s) they went all out. The only negative, no fireworks to bring in the New Year. Thank you to the Managers for agreeing to a late checkout free of charge, this was much appreciated as we had a night flight, so could spend more time at the beach. Hotel is quite remote from shops etc. so had to rely on transport. Stayed in the Adults only section, could do more entertainment in the adults only section although did have live bands in the evening which was enjoyable to listen to and the New Year's Eve DJ on the adults section was fantastic, had a great night.

Stayed here all inclusiveu at the end of November 2025. A modern well appointed and very clean hotel. The staff are plentiful and very courteous. Modern nicely decorated rooms with balcony and large screen tv. The food choices are excellent and the inclusive alcoholic drink selection includes the likes of Johnnie Walker, Beefeater etc. Tea and coffee, cakes and biscuits always available at the reception area coffee bar. The main hotel bar has evening entertainment from singer guitarists and a non professional DJ, however it was disappointing that the entertainment in this area finishes at 9:30pm. The free WiFi in the hotel area was excellent but I was not able to get this on the beach in front of the hotel. No shortage of sunbeds and parasols on the beach.
