Stayed here all inclusiveu at the end of November 2025. A modern well appointed and very clean hotel. The staff are plentiful and very courteous. Modern nicely decorated rooms with balcony and large screen tv. The food choices are excellent and the inclusive alcoholic drink selection includes the likes of Johnnie Walker, Beefeater etc. Tea and coffee, cakes and biscuits always available at the reception area coffee bar. The main hotel bar has evening entertainment from singer guitarists and a non professional DJ, however it was disappointing that the entertainment in this area finishes at 9:30pm. The free WiFi in the hotel area was excellent but I was not able to get this on the beach in front of the hotel. No shortage of sunbeds and parasols on the beach.

We had a great time at this hotel for a 2 week holiday in Oct 2025. The hotel is spotlessly clean and food is really good. All the staff are friendly and happy to help, so a big thank you to all of them who contributed to our holiday. The rooms are a good size, but slightly disappointed that there was no spirit dispenser in the minibar as usually found in other Riu Palace. A La carte restaurants are difficult to book - it was about 5 days to get in one, so if you’re on a short vacation, you would need to book them early. Food and service are great though. The pool is quiet and plenty of Sunbeds to choose. Guests do reserve, but you don’t really need to. The beach is very windy so you need to be a beach lover to go there every day. I would like to see some separation in the sea to protect swimmers as there are numerous windsurfers etc coming right to the shore, so some protection is needed. I appreciate that there are many water sport guests at this hotel, so they should be given somewhere to launch too. Slightly disappointed that there was some evidence of building materials (tiles / blocks) still on the beach from the demolition / construction process, so it would be nice to see this cleaned up. We did the under waterfall helicopter with Air Mauritius from the airport - it was amazing. Can book this with the hotel rep. Overall a great time was had, so thank you to the Riu team.

stayed 28th november to 12th december. first time for me at a RIU hotel, must say it was amazing. the rooms, food, location everything 5*. my friend had stayed at one in cancum mexico, he said this was better. the staff were all professional and made our stay great, the manageress sorted a few restaurants out for us as we found the app was not working to well for us. all in all a great trip which we booked through british airways holidays from booking in at gatwick to arriving at hotel and return a great holiday. just one thing in the evening after the live music by the le morne bar had finished a bit of 60, 70, recorded music playing from 9.30 onwards as the clients are in there 50-70's would help
Mantastic Day
Riu Palace Mauritius is a clean, well maintained resort with genuinely friendly staff who make the stay special. Rooms are spacious and the gardens are beautiful. The buffet has plenty of choice, but some dishes can be repetitive and restaurant reservations fill up fast. The beach is gorgeous but can be windy. the pool area is the best place to relax. Not a luxury hotel, but a very good adults-only all-inclusive for a relaxing break.

FABULOUS! We got back 2 days ago and never wanted to leave! We stayed Palace side, and the staff were just brilliant. Nikesh in the lobby bar, the bar staff in the pool bar. Even the groundmen and women work so hard. So polite and helpful. A big big thank you thought to Kavesh....he organized and was master of ceremonies at our wedding vow renewal on the beach. Beautiful day in a beautiful location. My only complaints, if i am being fussy...Peppe's food snack's could do with changing the selection sometimes. And i don't understand why the beds in your room were two big singles pushed together. You often slipped between the two as they were not locked together to keep them from moving. Also some of the premium brands spirits that were supposed to be available weren't...However, these issues are me being picky....the Hotel is fantastic and we would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone. Thank you Riu Mauritius for giving us memories that will last a lifetime!
