Great hotel representing Riu high standards. Although fully booked we did not feel the crowds except the dinner - you can avoid them with booking in theme restaurants. The hotel beach is exceptional, crystal clear water ideal for swimming, the swim zone has 200m length. Rooms spacious, well cleaned and once you figure out the A/C the temperature can be kept in bearable levels. If you are fan of plane spotting, there are airplanes starting almost every minute from the nearby airport, you can watch all the A380, Boeing Dreamliners and other interesting planes. Some people dislike, but we were happy and not disturbed.

Visited my friends who were staying there. Large and comfortable rooms, clean beach, small water rides for children, big swimming pool, interesting show every evening. We had dinner in Asian restaurant and it was good. Friends had all inclusive package, drinks were served at the beach, bar, restaurant. Service was good, enough waiters. I didn't like location, noise from airport, nothing around, but i beleive there is a shuttle bus to visit city.

We stayed in this hotel during Christmas and we had a wonderful time!
The restaurants and the food were simply amazing, together with the service. Big thanks to the staff of the main restaurant for always accommodating us and our 2 year old.
The hotel was always clean at every spot, the housekeeping team obviously woks very hard and they are doing a great job.
There's room for improvement for the reception and the kid's entertainment team.
I read it in the reviews that the sofa was not prepared as a bed for the child when people arrived. Knowing that we would arrive in the middle of the night I wrote not one but two emails about it, the reception replied, but still they did not pass down this info to housekeeping so we have to wait another 25 minutes until it was done when we arrived at 1 am. They were not very helpful nor welcoming on other occasions either.
Also some of the guys at the kids entertainment team yelled at young children with the intention of scaring them when they were recruiting the kids to meet Santa. That's not OK, they should be learning how to treat the smaller ones.
The hotel is directly under the flight route of the departing and arriving airplanes, so there's a loud plane passing every 2 minutes, which can be heard from the rooms, from the beach, everywhere basically. That might disturb some.
All in all it's a great hotel and I would return anytime.

Loved everything about this hotel. Staff were so friendly. No having to get up early and reserve sunbeds. Plenty of variety in the restaurants, can highly recommend the Lebanese and Asian. Main 'buffet' restaurant had plenty to chose from even for the fussy ones. Hotel was spotless. Would have loved there to have been an adults only pool but wasn't the end of the world. Only negative i have about ths hotel was that smoking was permitted everywhere around the outside of the hotel and I think there should have been designated Smoking areas as not very pleasant for those that don't smoke. Great beach, might be worth bringing beach shoes as can be a little stoney. Great water park for the kids too.

Loved our stay in this hotel. Staff were exceptional in every area & rooms spotless staff on 6th floor a credit to hotel. Situated on beach close to airport and a short taxi ride to main attractions.Stayed here 10th /21st March & will definitely be doing another stay next year
