Superb peace. Beach beautiful for lunch daily. 😋 own table lunch and dinner daily. Staff delightful , food fantastic. Board walk one side of hotel and main street the other. Trips with Cape Verde experience 1 day on a yacht, tourcaround Island in private car including lemon shark visit. Lovely suite. Great room lady. Entertainment on a daily board with all activities. You can book and join if you like.

We stayed on the island for just one night and chose Morabeza. For our general impression of the island the hotel seems to have a decent standard in terms of cleanliness, friendliness and certainly the location. It's literally at the beach which makes it a great find to us.

Great location but stop feeding the animals and be consequent in your own rules! We had a lovely time in Cape Verde, but some things we did not like. - First of all? Pléase stop feeding all the animals! My mother is allergic to cats and some dogs and they are all around. In the "newspaper Gazette" information sheet from the hotel they ask not to feed the animals. But a lot of people still do that. At breakfast nobody from the staff/management says anything about it. The owners/managers have dogs themselves and they walk the dog at the ground. We asked why nobody says anything, but they told us that passengers might get angry. Well, I would love to return but the many dogs and cats that walk freely at the resort are stopping me from doing that. There are dogs éverywhere! Even in the lobby, reception area, towelservice area and nobody does anything about it. It is mentioned on the card in the restaurant NO FEEDING OF THE ANIMALS! But nobody acts on this. Be consequent! And as the staff they have to tell the guests NOT to feed them! I approached the staff, reception and management and they say it is simply impossible to tell guests not to feed them. Well, nobody even tries! They even let the animals inside everywhere: gross! Especially if you are allergic. The staff even facilitates it to give old bread to some visitors/guests so they can feed the pigeons, birds, dogs and cats! That is not what you want for the hotel! - Friendliness is not a thing high on the list in this country. Sometimes I feel they do not want us there. Not even a simple hello... But some managers in the hotel are not friendly at all! Especially not at breakfast. Some grumpy staff members! - Hygiene is a problem at some points as well. The room is "cleaned" but there are ants in the room and the bathroom will not be cleaned properly. Outdoor? That was ridiculous at some points! At pool number 1 there is a dead bird, that has been there our entire stay! We mentioned it to several persons and nobody took care of it. The poolchairs at the first pool also had a lot of ants. Impossible to stay there. Too bad nobody looks at that, even when you mention it. - Some rooms are renovated and some not, make sure to look to the difference. - It rained a lot and we had a real leak and flooding in the room! It came inside and when we got out of bed we stepped into a pool of water. - Towel service is available till 18:00 but multiple times we wanted to exchange the towels for the next day at 17:30 and there was nobody or no new towels. The grey manager that works there is very unfriendly and not helpful. - The restaurant Tortue upstairs has an open seating. We were there when it rained and nobody thought of that. Also I did not fit underneath the table, not high enough. The food was dry, the tortilla was too dry to eat. We got wet and had to be moved to another section. The vermicelli was one lump of noodles. - The key is too big and heavy, very big golden thing hangs on the key - There is a lot of seating around the hotel, but nothing in front of the hotel. I would put a bench there as well. - Wifi hardly works - The cocktails at the poolbar are not right, missing elements or they do not have ingredients. - Too bad there is only one entrace at the sand/ocean; a lot of people climb the little wall; dangerous! - Toiletpaper budget in the room and better at the poolareas. - They are building a new hotel nextdoor. There is noise with trucks and construction. - If you do not have half or full board in Morabeza you pay 3,50 pppd for a bed/umbrella at the beach. - Great lavender shower gel and shampoo - ATM in the lobby - Check-out at 12:00 - Three pools of which the middle on is with salt water - Little fridge in the room - One bottle of water free upon arrival - Great idea to make sure the umbrella's cannot be moved! Especially with all the wind! Location wise this is perfect! Noise will be worse with the new hotel building in the next years nextdoor. But if they do not change the policy on the animals? We are not coming back... Too bad!

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights back in May, and it was great. The location was perfect, right near the beach and several restaurants around. The room was nice but outdated with some improvements that could be done (could not take pictures of the room). They were some issues with the Internet connection in our room, every time we would go in the bedroom area, the internet would drop. On another note, they had a buffet night on Saturday, which was delicious. From the food to the artists playing, it was amazing. The dancers were great, and the singer had a lovely voice. I used the gym during my stay, and it was well equipped. They also offered classes, which unfortunately I could not take but seems to be really nice. In all, it was a great stay, with some minor issues. However, I still had a great time.

Heritage building, one of the best in town. Just right next to the beach and pier. 5-10mins walk from town. Most staffs can speak English and would try to help. Rooms are spacious. Got lots of facilities inc 3 swimming pools, gym, game room, table tennis, mini golf and tennis court. And reasonable price. Just be aware insects and birds will try to take your food which is just a common problem in the country. And bring your own hair conditioner!
