Ok, I don't normally do reviews, however I feel this should be shared. I haven't stayed here yet and have been recommended this hotel by friends. I'm currently booked in for a family off 4 for October this year I would like to give a massive compliment and thank you Amalia for such a great service and her communication throughout my booking. She was a pleasure to deal with from the start to finish. (Through email and phone). Answered all my question and helped me choose the room what i was after. Basically listened to my needs. If this is the kind of service you get when booking, i can't wait to go to the hotel and get the same experience. Looking forward to our stay! Again, thanks Amalia / Hotel Mediterranean

Overall a good stay. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. They are happy to answer any of your questions. Nice breakfast with a lot to chose from. Hotel is located right beside the beach and Hard Rock Cafe (10% discount here for hotel guests). The pool is very good and the view of the pool from the balcony is extraordinary. A few issues, the hotel is not 5 star standard in my opinion. The rooms are a bit small and bland, definitely needs to improve. The pool tables are in poor condition, some didn’t work properly and they are old, there was a tilt on the tables. But would I stay here again? Yes!

Excellent location on the beach. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Pool is great size. Breakfast is very busy, it's a big hotel with many guests, but the food is very good and it's well organized. The rooms are very clean, great shower, but slightly small and could do with extra power sockets. We're looking forward to returning!

Overall a good hotel, stayed a week half-board. Very good kids' club, huge area and lots of activities for all ages, although the kids pool looks a bit sad. Staff seemed great with kids of all ages, our toddler enjoyed the club and mini disco in evenings. Great location next to the beach and on golden mile, but still relatively quiet. Staff friendly and helpful, entertainment was good. Pool area not too busy, loungers were always available. Water seemed chilly, our toddler didn't want to go in at all. Rooms a bit tired and on the small side but adequate - age of the hotel is visible but still see that the build quality is good. Wifi was very slow but mostly stable, still had to fall back to 4G when needed speed. No tea or coffee in rooms, but we had a fridge. Food was pretty good with a large selection, although got a bit boring towards the end of the week. Breakfast got very busy at times, food is good but coffee is bad.

Fantastic hotel! The staff make it what it is. They honestly can't do enough for customers. Breakfasts are great. So much choice! I'd be very surprised if anyone couldn't find something they like here. The only thing that lets this hotel down slightly is that the rooms are dated. It looks like they haven't been updated since the 70s. That said, they are still very comfortable and for the amount of time we actually spent in the room, it didn't really affect us to any degree. Fridge, safety deposit box, bathrobes and slippers included in the room are a great touch though. Kettle, iron and ironing board can be obtained from reception with no issues. The pool at the Med Palace is massive and there is always a sunbed available, however it was a little busy with children and noisy for us. Thankfully, you also have access to the Cleopatra Palace pool when you stay at the Med Palace and this is so much quieter and way more relaxing. I would 100% return to the Med Palace but might wait until the rooms have been renovated.
