Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur City Centre is modern yet welcomes you warmly. Some rooms are quite spacious, and it puts you close to the major attractions.
A few different aspects of my stay impressed me, but the professionalism of the security guard was surely a big one. They were up and about to guide all guests to the smoking area with such ease, comfort, and in conformity with hotel policies.
This nice touch added to the already pleasant stay. And such good service with lovely facilities and an exceptionally tranquil atmosphere cannot be ignored... it's worth the visit!

Pros:
1. Good location as it is near to other attractions.
Cons:
1. Old and dirty. You can find stains on curtains and pillows.
2. Poor noise isolation. You will hear ramping sounds from motorcycles every midnight around 2 a.m.
3. There was no hot water when we took the shower in our first room. Requested to change to a different room but the new room had only warm water.
4. Their lifts are pretty slow. There was no notification sound when the lift has arrived.

This is a once in lifetime experience.
After we reached the room we were in for a shock.
So my 5 year old daughter saw a stain on the pillow and asked us.
Upon inspection it was a blood stain.
Then for some reason I checked the towels also and I have never seen something so dirty in my life.
So I called the reception and I told them the same , for that the reply was sorry for the inconvenience and before I could say anything further the call was cut.
Then I went down to the reception and the room was changed after showing the photos.
I would not recommend people staying here as the hotel staff along with the general manager don't seem to care about hygiene in the hotel.
I am attaching pictures, I have put the towel in front of the window to show how dirty the towels are.
Mostly for this I would get a auto generated message which would prove my point.

The hotel may be 5-star for location, but its other amenities are far less than 1-star.
Food: Hardly any vegetarian items were in the buffet; all we had was bread, butter, and paratha, the "ready to cook" format available in the market. They charge 45 RM for an adult breakfast; (900 INR for this food) 🤣
Room: The bathroom door had a faulty lock. To correct it, the staff removed the whole lock leaving a big hole in the door and never repaired it back during our stay.
We selected a king bed while booking because we had a small child, but we never received one. Instead, the beds were pushed together in the center of the room and joined together to make it a king bed.
Room cleaning did not have a fixed time; they may arrive at any time of the day. Once, I asked the staff member to give me 5 minutes after he entered the room; he rudely responded, "Why did you call me in?" and never returned that day to clean the room.

I had an unpleasant experience during my stay at Maya Hotel Kuala Lumpur. A staff member entered my room without permission to place a stand fan as the air conditioning system was not working. While I appreciate the hotel’s effort to address the issue, the policy of entering a guest’s room without consent is unacceptable. This raises serious concerns about safety and security, which I find deeply troubling. Despite this incident, the hotel offers great food, convenient parking, and comfortable rooms.
