Nice location, great bed but a couple of issues that could be better. 1. No power outlets available next to bed. 2. Missing nozzles off shower heads leading to lots of water waste. 3. Glass bottles provided to fill up water at central location on level which is great sustainability wise! But the refill points don't suit the bottles leading to a mess when filling up. 4. Wifi isn't secured. 5. Currently renovating lifts, which is fine. But when on room level there is no way to know which ones are currently in operation. 6. Rooms are dated and finishes are not quality. If your looking for a good bed in a great location then this is a cheap stay that provides this. A couple of small changes could make a difference.

Onizuka Sorimachi

Grand Premier Room was beautiful, spacious, clean & comfortable. For RM800 the room accommodates 4 adults inclusive of breakfast. Apart for the slow lift due to maintenance, everything else was worthy of a 5 star praise. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Hotel Maya is very well located, right next to the Petronas Twin Towers. Aquaria KLCC, KLCC Park, Suria KLCC Mall, and the Petronas Towers are all easily accessible within a 5-minute walk. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel follows an eco-friendly approach by not providing plastic water bottles; instead, glass bottles are provided in the room, which can be refilled from water coolers placed in the corridor. MRT and LRT stations are also within walking distance. One drawback is the view from the room—Petronas Towers are blocked by another building, and a cemetery next to the hotel is visible from the window. Additionally, traffic noise can be heard in the rooms, especially during peak hours and night as well

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. It's been a passable stay - great views (thank you to reception taking into account my request for a city view), excellent location, the room is clean enough, service has been fine - but the whole hotel really needs a thorough clean and maintenance improved. 2 of 4 lifts are currently out of order (10 minutes wait today). I asked for the dirty handprints on the windows to be addressed on my first day, and they were not. Lots of mozzies in my room. Probably wouldn't stay here again, unfortunately.

Terrible experience with the night manager when we complained about the noise. Not professional and very rude individual. He was lucky I was on holiday with my already tired wife otherwise he’d have got a proper earful off me. Prat. Location was good but on the weekend the noise levels were bad due to the boy racers on their bikes - we was up until 5am - it’s a shame as the hotel wasn’t even bad - just didn’t expect the level of service I received from a “5 star” hotel. Shame If you’re looking to book this hotel, avoid weekends due to the boy racers - the other days were fine and can’t fault it. Yes I also understand it’s not the hotels fault that they’re doing this however I did not expect the level of service I got in such a rude manner the way I did. Never in my life have I experienced this at ANY hotel. Let alone one in Malaysia where the people I have met are the nicest in the world. Unfortunately in this instance it wasn’t. Oh and the lifts take forever. No lie I once waited 5/7 minutes for a lift - and once you’re in it you go to click the level the call gets cancelled once somebody else comes in. So sometimes when you’re trying to go up, you go back down then go back up again. What on earth? Pros: good location and the bar/shisha lounge was great at a decent price with a nice view
