Beautiful hotel, the hotel itself is a lovely modern design with well laid out gardens and pools. There are also externally a tennis court, mini golf, pool bar and spa. Internally it has an excellent restaurant, bars, great spa facilities and nice spacious reception area.
The food has been wide ranging and of a high standard during our stay. The staff have been professional, helpful and courteous.
The rooms are well equipped and have large balconies.
Beach access from the hotel is fabulous and it also has large beach beds inside overlooking the sea.
It is in an excellent location - the centre of the town is somewhat overly touristy and downtrodden, the area local to the hotel is of a higher standard with a great selection of eateries and bars.
I would totally recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future.

Fantastic hotel, super modern, spotlessly clean and a great breakfast in offer.
This must be one of the best hotels on the island.
However, Matagorda itself is very limited and it's a bit tired in places.
It has the usual tat shops littered along the coast down to PDC.

Stayed here with husband and our teenagers (boy 13 / girl 17) over the Feb break - we (all of us!) had a really relaxing week in beautiful surroundings and have already booked for next year - and my parents have booked for October!
Hotel rooms and public areas super-clean and well maintained; room amenities excellent with really well appointed terraces.
Food, service and entertainment great. Location top notch too being really close to restaurants and bars - with a private gate leading to the esplanade and the beach. Very reasonable taxi fares to airport, old town, Arrecife.
Absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend.

In Jan 2024 we paid our third visit and we still love it. The rooms are very comfortable, bright and stylish. Breakfast bar has the large range of food you'd expect from a 5 star hotel, including cold fizz next to the juice if you fancy starting the day with a bucks fizz. Mostly adults, a few small children but they aren't geared up for kids which was a plus for us. Stunning gardens with gate on to the path and cycle track turn left or right for restaurants and bars. We had dinner 1 night which was excellent but pricey. Staff are very friendly. Overall a good choice for couples or friends who look for a quality option closest the beach and shops etc. Short transfer from air port but planes are not a nuisance.

Just returned from a lovely stay at this hotel. Food, service, rooms, staff and amenities were top class. When the hotel manager tries to welcome and get to know residents and also helps out serving it certainly sets a very good example of customer care. All staff were very attentive and welcoming but a special mention for Antonio, Nikki and Johnathan who went out of their way to look after us. We had a lovely holiday thank you.
