My wife and I recently took a city break to Malta and although we didn’t stay at the hotel, we visited its lobby bar several times. We highly recommend it if you’re in the area. Located in St Julian’s, the hotel offers stunning views of the bay and surrounding area. However, this review is dedicated to the warm and friendly staff in the ground-floor bar. We visited in February when the evenings were chilly, so finding a cosy spot to relax and enjoy a few drinks was essential. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The bar boasts a wide selection of drinks to suit all tastes, along with barista service and delicious sweet treats. You can choose to sit in the outdoor under-cover area at the hotel’s front or the indoor seating options. We visited on several evenings, drawn by the lively atmosphere and excellent service. Many guests were enjoying the environment for work or connecting via free Wi-Fi. Others used the rear bar area to host a small birthday party. The contemporary decor exudes quality and comfort, while the prices are very reasonable, especially a bottle of prosecco for around €25. If you’re in the area and looking for a place to relax and unwind with a drink, check out this lovely hotel. We’ll definitely book a stay at the Juliani Hotel if we return to the area. There were so many great reviews of Hotel Juliani online, so my expectations were high. And yet, they were exceeded. From the always friendly staff (we never left breakfast without at least two people wishing us a great day) to the wonderful room to the great location - everything was just great. We had a Suite in the newer part of the hotel with sea view on the 4th floor with a huge terrace - which we only got to use a little bit since we did a lot of sightseeing and it was too cold in the evenings. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the terrace door was soundproof (really the only thing you could here were occasional motorcycles), the bathroom had a rain shower and we had a mini-fridge and an electric kettle. The room was always clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast a lot, especially the made-to-order eggs and good coffee and tea. The location is great with bus stations in both directions right outside the door. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops all around. We hope to be able to come back during warmer months so we get to enjoy the rooftop pool and terrace. If you can afford it, take a room with sea view. Even in the winter, watching to fishermen, locals jogging on the promenade and enjoying the view is worth it. And maybe request a room in the newer part of the hotel (although I haven´t seen the other part so I can´t really speak to that).

Checked in on front desk by Manuel. He was so friendly & knowledgeable we knew we were going to have a lovely stay. The room was clean & modern. Lovely big bed & super large shower. View was spectacular with a little balcony. All in all a fabulous hotel & we will stay again when we come back

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The wonderful people who work there make your stay a pleasant one. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is amazing. Unfortunately, we only stayed for a weekend, but we plan to return to this hotel for a longer stay. We thank the entire team for the wonderful time and wish you all the best and see you soon. Ps. the gentlemens at the bar really deserve a raise 😉😜

Our room was on the 4th floor, very spacious and with a big balcony facing Spinola Bay. Bathroom was also spacious with a beautiful walk in shower. We had our towels changed twice in a week, that was nice. The view from the balcony was stunning. Location is very convenient. It is a busy area but once we closed the window we couldn't hear a thing and slept always very well. There is plenty of restaurants around. Buses are frequent and there is a stop just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was nice and there was plenty of choices. We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Juliani and we highly recommend it.
