Our stay at Hotel Indigo Jebel Akhdar was truly special, and one we’ll always look back on with fond memories. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Our rooms were upgrades to the canyon view and the views are absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to them and watching the light change throughout the day was unforgettable and the hotel facilities were excellent and very well maintained. What really set this experience apart was the people. At Vue Restaurant, Amor took such wonderful care of us and went above and beyond for our Christmas dinner, putting in so much effort and thought to make it extra special — it meant a lot to us and made the evening truly memorable. Thanks to chef Ajay every dish throughout our stay was high quality, beautifully prepared, and clearly curated with care. We also really appreciated Adam, the gym staff, who was incredibly helpful and encouraging. At breakfast, Shela and Nhour greeted us each morning with genuine warmth and kindness, embodying the Omani hospitality which made starting the day such a pleasure. Overall, every member of staff was courteous, attentive, and made us feel valued. It’s rare to find a hotel where you feel this level of sincerity and care from everyone you meet. Combined with the stunning setting, excellent food, and great facilities, this stay was absolutely worthwhile. We’re so grateful for the experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Indigo Jebel Akhdar.

Our stay at Hotel Indigo was excellent and perfect. We received outstanding services from all the staff members, especially from a lady staff named Amore, from the restaurant at the rooftop floor. Our room view was stunning overlooking the mountains and the hotel pool. The breakfast was delicious with so many things to choose for from local delight to international breakfast choices. The view from the breakfast spot was unbelievably gorgeous as well! Hotel facilities are clean, high quality, and well maintained— we were really happy with our stay and would really recommend this hotel to our friends and families visiting Jabal Akhdar. Also special mention to Leena, the receptionist whom helped us upon checking in, who was so so attentive (she remembered our room number upon checking out, without us telling her!) Also she was so friendly and made us feel welcomed immediately. Thank you for your kindness.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a truly enchanting location. The atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely warm throughout our visit. We would also like to mention that we chose in-room dining one evening and were served by Hammaad. He was simply outstanding — friendly, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. His service made the experience even more enjoyable. We look forward to returning!

Had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo! We found every aspect of the hotel to be exceptional. The view, the food/dining options and the service were all excellent. Noor at Za’taar and Hiruni at Vue were incredibly hospitable and thoughtful. We would have loved a small list with recommended activities to do in the area… we were able to find several things to do online, but a top 5 list in our room would have been a nice addition. Otherwise, thank you for a wonderful stay!

While I enjoyed the beautiful setting and the comfort of the One Bedroom Pool Chalet, there are a few areas for improvement. The food quality did not meet expectations, and the wine served at the New Year’s Eve gala dinner was overly sour and not enjoyable. Pre-arrival communication was also limited, making it difficult to plan my trip properly. Additionally, there were frequent door knocks for deliveries and housekeeping while I was in the room; coordinating these services when guests are away could better respect privacy. I hope this feedback is helpful for improving the guest experience.
