The best hotel in the whole Vietnam. The beds are very firm and I sleep like a baby. Swimming pool is very nice and the staff are number one. Faucet is amazing, Tien is very good too. Jolie and Cheryl are fantastic. Kim is very good too. Manager Harry is a very good too. Terry is very good too. Highly recommended to check into this hotel. It’s close to many shops around. Very convenient. They got sauna and good massage rooms too. One stop hotel in Vietnam. I stay here for the past 20 times and I will keep staying here every time I come back to Ho Chi Minh.

Our favourite hotel stay when visiting Vietnam! Our room was set up so beautifully for our honeymoon with a bouquet of flowers, balloons, cake and a beautiful swan design on our bed. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Pool facilities were great and delicious cocktails. The hotel staff went above and beyond for our stay and made it very rememberable. We can’t wait to return

My stay at the Equatorial Hotel in Saigon was very nice, not only for its cleanliness and reasonable pricing but also for the exceptional service. The breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious options, and the staff were always friendly. Huệ, the spa manager, was especially wonderful. She recommended the perfect massage tailored to my needs and referred me to the best places to visit in the city. She went out of her way to ensure all my hotel needs were met with great care. One of the standout features of the hotel is the large-sized salt water pool, the only one in Saigon, which added a unique touch to my visit. My patio door opened out to this magnificent pool, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere in the heart of the city. I am deeply thankful to Huệ for making my stay so memorable. I highly recommend the Equatorial Hotel to anyone visiting Saigon.

Good hotel with kind and attentive staff and good sized clean rooms, even though the price is fairly high for Vietnam. The hotel also serves a quality breakfast, even though the quality of the meat can vary strongly per day. The hotel could do with some renovations, especially when it comes to the carpets in the rooms and even more so the carpet in the lobby (dirty!). However, some renovations seem to be underway, as the bathroom of our room was recently renovated! The location of the hotel is somewhat questionable. There are hardly any restaurants nearby and, even though it is doable, the walk to, for example, the Bui Vien area with lots of eateries is around 30 minutes. Other reviews state a bad neighbourhood, but we do not agree with those reviews at all. The neighborhood is fine, there are just not many options for food and drink outside of the hotel.

While the amenities of this hotel are nice the service sucks! At first they couldn't find our booking and made us wait while they checked and then when they finally found it they apologized, called us twice (!!) to give us the wifi code and sent a fruit platter of whole fruits with a butter knife (like sorry but here cut your own fruit)! Secondly we had informed them our airline was going to drop off our bags later (airline issues) but when we asked the bell boys if the bags arrived they said No. However, the bags had been delivered! We went through a hassle of talking between the airline and hotel. The hotel finally did confirm they have the bags! The hotel person came to the airport to drop off our bags but the hotel made us pay for the round trip taxi fare!!! There is no sense of customer service or informing the guests of updates. I would not recommend staying here unless you want bad service!
