The Don Pancho in Benidorm really surprised me in the best way! I wasn’t expecting quite so much from the hotel, but it really exceeded my expectations. The entertainment was lively and well-organised, keeping the atmosphere fun throughout our stay, and the food was excellent. There was a huge variety on offer, so whether you’re after something light or something more indulgent, you’re well covered. It really made me appreciate the effort they put into catering for everyone. The housekeeping team did a great job too. The maid who looked after our room kept everything spotless, and it was clear she was doing her job properly and with care, which always makes a difference when you’re away from home. I also want to mention Anna, the security guard. I didn’t actually get the chance to meet her in person, but I was told her name and heard about the brilliant help she provided in rescuing some pictures we’d lost. That alone shows how the staff go the extra mile, even if you don’t interact with them directly. It’s nice to know there are people like that behind the scenes making sure things run smoothly. The only thing that let the experience down slightly was an incident at reception. One of the servers, Mari-Carmen, who insisted I take note of her name, accused me of bringing a drink in from an outside bar. She was positioned behind the reception desk when this happened, and it was quite bizarre—especially as the drink was actually purchased from the hotel bar and could easily have been checked on my account. I found the attitude a bit unnecessary, and it was frustrating at the time, but it didn’t spoil the rest of the stay. Everyone else we encountered was friendly, professional, and welcoming, which made it easy to overlook this one odd moment. It’s a shame, because it felt a little out of place in an otherwise great hotel experience. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised by Don Pancho. From the food and entertainment to the housekeeping and the friendliness of almost all the staff, it really is a hotel that makes the effort to look after its guests. Even with the small hiccup at reception, I wouldn’t let that detract from what was an enjoyable and memorable stay. The hotel has plenty to offer and shows that the team genuinely cares about their guests, whether through keeping everything clean, ensuring fun activities are running, or even helping with things behind the scenes like Anna did. If you’re planning a stay in Benidorm and want a hotel with lots of choices, good entertainment, and staff who mostly go above and beyond, Don Pancho is a solid option. Just be aware that, occasionally, you might encounter someone like Mari-Carmen, but don’t let that put you off—the overall experience is more than worth it. I’d happily return and would recommend it to others looking for a fun, well-run hotel with a friendly atmosphere.

Just had aweek at Don pancho My husband and myself loved it. We came for 3 kings parade but due to heavy rain the parade was cancelled However even though the weather was bad there was plenty to do We went full board it was good to have the options the food was fantastic The hotel looked beautiful and decorated for christmas and looked amazing One afternoon we just relaxed and sat on the balcony and thst was fabulous as in January in the UK you would not be able to do that(too cold) We opted for a standard double i was so surprised a beautiful balcony with seats that reclined with excellent view over the pool and the sea in the background It was a lovely holiday and plenty to do in the hotel even on a rainy day

This is a genuine review and we could honestly say it was a fabulous hotel. We booked a Premier room which has extras like bathrobe and slippers and little treats. A lovely welcome when we arrived from reception staff. The room was spotless as like the rest of the hotel, food excellent with plenty of choice. Would definitely say best hotel in Benidorm and we have stayed in many.

Went to Don Pancho for the first time Best part of the room was the view We saved really hard to find out it was not good for young couples Food ok ish as they reheat same food most days or use the old food and make it into pies or curries. Food makes you not well Went to reception for a fan as it was really hot most days but as it winter time the fans are all put away in storage according to staff Poor quality toilet paper Not much room to use the toilet Balcony door doesn't lock but use a latch hope cleaner locks the door which they don't They fold used towels and put back on rack so had to constantly ask them for clean towels 1 day they gave us dirty towel which we complained to reception and found out it was covered in poo Entertainment was okish had 3 great entertainment but rest was rubbish 1 night had 3 entertainment and they sang same songs but in different ways The bed in the room sunk and felt the base and complained but staff says nothing wrong with the mattress Spoken to regular customers who stays there a lot even saying the standard has gone downhill and poor Lifts are falling apart be aware Saw people using lift B and started to move before door closed and some drop as you enter the lift. Lifts are a bit dodgy too Some nights at restaurant we had to wait for staff to get drinks but they too busy with Spanish customers and having yap than serving holidaymakers Chairs in room was filthy Lobby in main entrance needs a clean as we sat on chairs and noticed that the rugs are filthy For being a fancy hotel they need to upgrade their standards and make the rooms and entertainment better and food I would recommend this hotel a 3 stars not 4 stars Couple staff are nice and friendly but some staff are very rude and angry a lot They too busy with regular customers and Spanish customers Hotel is catered for pensioners and older generations as it like a care home So this hotel will give you a care home experience.

Amongst the best hotels we've stayed at and can see why it's classed as the No.1 Hotel in Benidorm. Food was excellent and varied, something for everyone. Entertainment was fantastic, everynight there was a selection of acts on to cater for all tastes.
