From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely Julia, who made check-in a breeze and made us feel so welcome. During our stay, the bar staff were fantastic — especially Julio and Miguel — who were always friendly, attentive, and full of good humour. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms are spotless. We were surprised with a fruit basket and a bottle of cava in our room as we were on our honeymoon — such a thoughtful and special touch. All of the staff we met were incredibly polite and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always happy to offer advice on where to go or what to do around the area. The pool area is lovely, with plenty of sun loungers available and a great outdoor bar. There are even complimentary books in English, which was a really nice little touch. The location couldn’t be better — the hotel is literally right on the beach, just across a small walkway, with a lovely beachfront bar. Guests are also given a flyer with discounts for nearby restaurants, which we definitely recommend using. We went to Palapa, and it was absolutely amazing! And then… the breakfast. Oh my god, the breakfast! I’ve never seen anything like it in all my years of travelling. The selection is incredible — entire counters dedicated to different items. There’s a whole room filled with every fruit you can imagine, along with meats, cheeses, pastries, juices, and every style of eggs and sausages. There’s even a chef on hand to cook fresh options for anyone with dietary requirements. Don’t miss the bread section — or the glass of cava for breakfast, alongside tea, coffee, and more. Honestly, as wonderful as everything else was, I’d come back just for the breakfasts! The hotel is perfectly located for shopping, bars, and restaurants, making it ideal for anyone looking to explore or just relax. All in all, it was the perfect stay, and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much to everyone at Cleopatra Palace for making our honeymoon so special! 💛

Rooms a little older but still perfect and spotless. Staff extremely helpful and friendly and had a lovely check in experience. Only downfalls id say is the breakfast isn’t as good as other hotels I’ve been in. Pool area good , not a huge pool and sunbeds on a sunny day difficult as the huge amount of people just leaving towels on them and not there. The pool staff should be going around removing these towels !!! It’s unfair on everyone else. Also can be loud at night if room is beside Hard Rock Cafe/magic bar so if you are a light sleeper I’d highly advise asking for a room not near there as the music can go on till 2am

The hotel needs revamping as is dated but still lovely and full of character. The rooms are tidy but just needs modernising. The breakfast has something for everyone you can sit inside or outside, the piano player is a lovely touch.

The hotel is quite good. The grounds are huge by Canarian standards. The furniture and furnishings in the rooms themselves are tired, apparently not changed since its opening... However, that's where the negatives end... The service is very good, starting from the reception. The breakfasts are delicious, you definitely won't leave hungry. You can start your day with champagne. The pool is medium-sized, and there are plenty of sun loungers by the pool. There is a bar. Another bao in the reception area. Three restaurants. Well, if you want more, you can try the bars and restaurants of two neighboring hotels - Mediaterrain Palace or Sir Anthony. All three hotels are co-op and managed by the same company. The rooms with an ocean view are simply fabulous. The view is stunning. Directly in front of the hotel (50 meters) is the yellow sand beach Playa del Camison. Personally, for me, this is the best beach in the south of Tenerife. At the reception, they themselves offered late check-out until 5 pm. All problems are solved in no time. We received a lot of information and help from the girl at the front desk (Sintia). Overall, the hotel is good. The pros are the location (right on the beach), the food, and the hotel staff. The cons are the tired furniture and, of course, the price.

After a lot of deliberating between the Mediterranean Palace Hotel and the Cleopatra, despite the price being better at the Mediterranean Palace, we chose the Cleopatra because it was right on the ocean front and we wanted to have ocean views and be close to the beach. For this reason, we made the perfect choice! If you want the slick nature of a hotel chain, then the Cleopatra is not for you. However, if you want a hotel with character, which provides the basics, has an excellent breakfast (we particularly liked the fact that not too much food was laid out at once, instead, fresh items were added every few minutes), is quiet, and is spotlessly clean (shout out to the wonderful housekeeping staff) - then the Cleopatra Palace is for you. Yes - it is frustrating that they don't have evening meals, but you can buy 'meal tickets' for the Mediterranean Palace and again, like the breakfast at the Cleopatra, the evening meals there are 5*. Yes - the staff at reception are hit and miss. Some are really great, while others are all smiles but their customer service skills are very poor. But to be honest, unless you have an issue (which luckily we didn't) who worries about reception. All the other staff, from bar staff, to breakfast staff, to porters, to pool staff, to housekeeping, are excellent. So - to sum up, if having your hotel be literally on top of one of the nicest, golden sand beaches in Tenerife is important enough that you would pay above the going rate, then the Cleopatra Palace Hotel is for you. We are certainly going back this year - so maybe see you there!
