The service at the hotel is outstanding. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff are hard to find these days. The interior is beautiful and perfectly combines Western standards with Asian influences. The spa area includes several pools and saunas, a comprehensive range of massages, and a fitness as well as a yoga area. The gym equipment is far above the usual standard, though a few small upgrades would be welcome to cover all major muscle groups. I would have really appreciated a pull-up bar. Nevertheless, I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed training here. The hotel is very well located, and the breakfast as well as the cocktail bar offers are extensive and of very high quality—just like the verious restaurants located within the building complex. As beautiful and diverse as Tenerife is, you could easily spend your entire vacation just at this hotel.

We had a pleasant week at Hotel Botanico with our children. The positives are the general facilities which are awesome particularly gym, spa and the pool table. The rooms are great albeit the decor won’t be for everybody and we loved what we tried of the restaurants. We definitely had a few gripes though . The pool water may have been recently treated for algae and it ruined our swimming costumes with a dark green film. The pool area also needs some repairs - there are chipped tiles and grout which isn’t nice. The breakfast is also a bit dull - limited selection and the warm selection was very cold. I gave it 4* because this hotel is not in the same league as Mandarin Oriental, Westin, Ritz Carlton etc. The service is ok if a little slow so anybody hoping for top notch attendance might be a little disappointed.

Perfect place to stay on our holiday in Tenerife! The hotel is decorated nicely and the grounds are beautiful. We loved the birds in the aviary! Staff very sweet and attentive and food delicious too. We came for the spa and it was such a treat to relax in it every day. Peaceful and beautiful sanctuary!

How do you describe perfection? Absolute flawless hotel, stunning throughout and you are treated like family the moment you arrive. From Antonio at the door, Marta on reception, Susana in public relations, Raul in the Spanish restaurant, Patrick in the Italian the service is simply first class. Sumptuous breakfast, outstanding comfort and relaxation, we never return to a hotel but the Botánico breaks the mould. We cannot wait to return, highly recommended
