Amazing location in side right on the promenade which you can take a nice long stroll along to get to the old town which is full of life. The hotel is lovely, great pools and facilities and plenty of snacking options during the day. I would say the hotel food is okay not amazing; but I don’t think you get great hotel food in any hotels in Turkey. It’s not bad but if you get bored of the food there the hotel is surrounded by plenty of nice and reasonably priced restaurants right outside. I would still recommend this hotel as a lovely place to enjoy a holiday in side. The staff fancied my husband so was a little pissed at him but didn’t let it ruin the holiday, also you have to ask staff for information they won’t tell you all the details. Crepes by the pool were 10/10. This is very much a family hotel so lots of kids, which we didn’t mind but some people might. We also enjoyed the a la carte restaurant on the last night which is included if you stay for 7 nights, the food was okay but experience was lovely as we went at sunset and have a sea view dinner.

Currently staying at this hotel and having a good time.our room is modern and comfortable. The majority of staff are caring and food is varied and a lot of healthy options.we were not impressed with kids club, some staff's attitude and ice-cream quality, also no mid day snack. Won't be coming back to be honest!

The resort was absolutely stunning and huge. Lots of swimming pools and nice beach right at the resort. Room was nice and big. You have to pay extra for wi fi in your room and internet connection isn’t good. Customer service of some of the staff is shocking. A staff doing night duty is very rude and isn’t friendly or helpful at all. This was off putting as he was the first person we spoke to when checking in. Food wasn’t that good there was a lot of variety but the taste wasn’t that good. A lot of the staff don’t speak English so hard to communicate if you need anything. Also it was confusing where what was as it’s so big. Tourists were German mostly and rare to find any English speaking tourists. Overall resort itself was stunning.

This hotel is in a pretty good location – the old town of Side is about 2 km away on foot, and a big plus is that the hotel has its own beach just across the promenade. The beach is sandy with a nice seabed, making it pleasant to go swimming. The promenade runs right past the hotel and leads all the way to the old town, which is especially beautiful in the evening, with plenty of restaurants and street vendors. The restaurants offer decent food – nothing to expect a culinary experience from, but the views alone are worth it. Many of them also have live music, which adds to the atmosphere. A big plus is that the area is mostly visited by European tourists, and you hear very little Russian, which we consider a positive – Russian tourists often tend to be unpleasant. Some parts of the hotel buildings could use a refresh, but overall the rooms are fine – you’ll spend most of your time by the pool or the sea anyway. Cleaning could be more thorough – I’d rate cleanliness around 8 out of 10, but overall it’s acceptable. A special note: the elevators are very slow, so we mostly used the stairs – not ideal if you're traveling with a stroller. The staff was friendly, helpful, and polite. Of course, there were a few less pleasant individuals, but that happens everywhere. Food was on par with most 5-star resorts – nothing extraordinary, and it can get a bit repetitive, but you won’t go hungry. Bars offer the basics, so your thirst is covered. Don’t expect great beer or cognac – but that’s not a deal-breaker. The pools were clean, but there weren’t enough sunbeds – same issue by the beach. Some guests leave their towels on the beds to reserve them for days, even when they’re not around. The hotel should consider collecting all sunbeds in the evening and cleaning the whole area, then redistributing them in the morning – this would help prevent long-term reserving. A bit strange: to use the water slides, you had to buy your own inflatable ring. The hotel charged €30, while you could get one on the street for €15. The hotel should invest in quality rings instead of guests having to buy multiple ones throughout their stay – we went through three in a week. The fact that the internet was poor and came at an extra cost was annoying at first, but in the end, you're here to relax – not to sit online. One thing we didn’t like was the excessive amount of commercial stalls on the hotel grounds, especially in the outdoor areas – these could be replaced with more sunbeds or relaxing zones. There's already plenty of shopping just outside the hotel and in the nearby streets. All in all, we give the hotel, staff, and food a thumbs up. It definitely deserves its stars and is a great place to spend a relaxing vacation.

We stayed at Horus Paradise Luxury Resort with high hopes, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve ever had at a so-called “luxury” resort. Let’s start with the food: it was genuinely awful. Most dishes were bland, poorly prepared, and far below any acceptable standard. The meat often had a foul smell and was sometimes undercooked. When we addressed this, we were met with defensive attitudes and told, “there is enough choice” as if that excuses the lack of quality. My wife, who is pregnant, was barely able to eat anything safely during our entire stay. We had booked an ultra all-inclusive package, but it felt like a waste. Anything remotely decent came with extra costs. Even the à la carte dinner was a letdown. The starters, soup, and dessert were fine, but the main course (the most important part of the meal) was once again of poor quality. The meat smelled off and was inedible. The rooms are outdated, and we had ants and even lizards inside. Despite requesting a room close to the facilities due to my wife’s pregnancy, we were placed far at the back of the resort. To reach the main building, we had to walk long distances over steep slopes and stairs—not acceptable for guests with special needs. The guest relations office is ineffective; complaints are acknowledged but not followed up. The previous sentence: “there is enough choice” was even mentioned by this office. Pure disappointment. That said, we do want to give credit where it’s due: the serving staff throughout the resort are absolutely amazing. Friendly, hardworking, and professional. They truly made the best out of a bad situation. The pools are clean and well-maintained, which we appreciated, but even here there’s poor planning: the indoor pool closes at 5 PM, far too early for guests who want to swim with such high temperatures. If this was not enough, The hotel had also power outages every single day. Which means no electricity, no elevators, no lights nothing! While every other hotel next door had electricity, this hotel failed. In summary, Horus Paradise looks nice on the surface but fails on almost every important point. It’s far from luxury, and we left feeling disappointed and misled. We would not return and cannot recommend this resort to others.
