This is a great place, quiet, out of the way but a steep climb from the beach! Taxis (in November 2025) were just €4 from the ranks up from the mini golf to the hotel. IF they want to charge more than €5, ask for a receipt and take it to the hotel reception, they will contact the taxi company. I was ripped off by one taxi who charged €7 just from Paradise park a couple of hundred yards away, when I wasn't feeling well and couldn't walk up! The receptionist later advised me to ask for a receipt if it happened again. The apartment was lovely, full kitchen, massive ensuite double upstairs, twin downstairs and a wrap around balcony (we were on the corner) Our only complaints were: A very noisy road - not from traffic - but from a grid outside our room by the barrier and security hut which clanged noisily when cars drove over it, which was really loud at night - just need rubber over it to correct it. Also the pillows. Or lack of them. The thinnest pillows I ever saw, only one each so you couldn't even double up. If we ever go again, I will vacuum pack my pillow and take it with me! Also the beds were hard, my hips are aching from lying on them for a week. But apart from those 3 things, we really enjoyed our stay. 3 pools to choose from, lots going on in the one at Hollywood Mirage, quieter (and warmer) at the sister hotel in front of us. Great little supermarket on site and another large one 5 minutes down the road. Luggage holding lockers were really handy at €2 - or flight wasn't until 8pm, so we had a lovely last day without bags.

Just returned from a week here and was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews but i didn't need to be! Our first time in Tenerife and therefore obviously this hotel. Loved it and would happily come back! The room was great, hotel staff very friendly and although we don't have kids we enjoyed watching the animation team entertaining them (and the adults) - the opening song will be stuck in our heads for days! :-) Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the quality of food but the drinks from the pool bar were a reasonable price. Location wise it is at the top of a series of steep hills, the last one being the worst but this is what gives it its great views and prominent position. There is a free shuttle bus to the front and back at various times of the day and taxi's are very easy to get and very cheap. There are a few good bars and restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk without needing to be in the centre of Los Cristianos but that is also easy enough to get to. All in all a great holiday and we're likely to return!

We had a great time spending 10 days at the Hollywood Mirage. Staff were very good, welcoming and helpful. You get a small cleaning pack containing washing up liquid and cloths which is a nice touch. Rooms were clean and spacious. Our room had a spiral staircase up to the bedroom., it wasn’t the widest but it was fine for us. We chose to use pool 2 out of the three we could choose from. It gave as the most shade during the hottest times of the day. We will look to come back and stay in the future.

We’ve stayed at this hotel twice now and have already booked our third visit for March next year, which really says it all. It will also be an extra special stay as we’ll be returning to celebrate my 50th birthday. There are three pools to choose from: one with daily entertainment, and two quieter pools that are perfect for unwinding. One of the quieter pools also has Balinese beds, adding a lovely touch of luxury. We stayed self-catering and didn’t eat at the hotel. Instead, we shopped at Mercadona and used the well-stocked on-site shop, which had everything we needed. Our room was a two-bedroom apartment with an additional sofa bed. The large balcony, complete with sun loungers and a table and chairs, was a real highlight—spacious, private, and offering a great view down onto the sea. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need, and the beds were comfy. The room was cleaned twice during our 11-day stay. It could do with a bit of paint in places and some tidying up in the bathroom, but nothing that impacted our stay. The staff were extremely welcoming and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. They helped with booking taxis, gave brilliant recommendations, and even phoned a local hair salon to book me an appointment—something we really appreciated. The location is excellent: around a 10-minute walk down to the Los Cristianos strip, and about a 30–40 minute walk to the beach heading towards Las Américas, where you’ll find even more restaurants and bars. The walk back up, however, is famously known as “Cardiac Hill”—and for good reason! We took a taxi back up each time, which costs just €3.80. Overall, it’s a welcoming hotel with great facilities, comfortable rooms, and staff who go above and beyond. It works perfectly for both relaxing days and exploring the area, and we truly can’t wait to return for my 50th birthday. Thank you and see you soon

Lovely place - we stayed in one of the corner apartments with a view of the sea. The staff in reception were great, very courteous, as was the receptionist at the gym. Pool was nice but during the day it gets busy with children, couples and families. The animation staff were great to entertain people by the pool with various competitions including bingo. Housekeeping staff came to the apartments every three days. Our apartment was well kitted out with a full sized fridge freezer, cooker and oven. A cupboard just off the kitchen had an ironing board and iron. The coffee maker was easy enough to use. I loved having my cuppa on the balcony. Having two bathrooms (one ensuite) was an unexpected bonus. The area was a bit hilly so the shuttle bus service was very welcome for the return journey in the evening. I would love to come back.
