A truly beautiful hotel. The service is impeccable - incredibly helpful and professional staff. The interior design is an experience in itself. The food at breakfast is very high quality with a very good selection. The location is very good for fisherman’s village, the beach and the night market. This is a family-oriented hotel - pract Calle every guest while we were there was a young family, with young children. We came as a couple and found the number of small children quite overwhelming (not the hotel’s fault - we should have done better research before booking). If you have kids, this seems like an amazing place to take them. For couples looking for a quiet relaxing base, I don’t think this hotel is a good choice. I would also say that if you (or your kids) are really into the beaches thailand is famous for, there are far better ones that Bophut. We rented a scooter for our time on Samui and visited lots of other beaches, so it was fine. But with young kids that’s not easy - so be prepared to hang in the resort or get taxis to other beaches if you can’t get a scooter. On balance: impeccable hotel but too many kids for a couole’s break.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel has a wonderful beachfront location in Bophut, with easy access to the sea, a lovely beach, a well-maintained swimming pool, and a very enjoyable kids club. It is an excellent choice for families with children. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and relaxing. The staff were generally friendly, warm, and helpful, which contributed positively to our stay. However, when our child suffered a head injury that required stitches, we had hoped for a more attentive and proactive response from the staff. While the situation was managed, more care and support during this stressful moment would have been greatly appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly choose this hotel again.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Resort Samui Bophut and overall had a very pleasant experience, especially as a family traveling with children. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, always polite and helpful. One of the highlights of the hotel is the pool area, which is excellent—well-designed, spacious, and very enjoyable for both adults and children. The hotel is extremely family-friendly. The facilities for children are very good, making this an ideal choice for families. There are plenty of activities and areas designed specifically with kids in mind, which made our stay much more relaxing. The room was a decent size—comfortable and practical without being particularly luxurious or flashy. It met our needs well and felt clean and functional. The location is another strong point. The hotel is well situated in Bophut, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions, restaurants, and the beach. Food and drinks at the hotel are on the expensive side compared to local options, and unfortunately the quality of the food does not fully justify the higher prices. That said, the breakfast buffet was outstanding—easily the best we had during our three weeks of traveling around Thailand. There was a wide variety of options, good quality, and something for everyone. Overall, this is a very solid hotel, particularly for families with children. While food pricing could be improved, the great pool area, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, and strong family facilities make this a hotel we would recommend.

A lovely modern beachfront resort that is perfect for families. I’m very critical of cleanliness in hotels and overall could not fault it, staff are constantly working hard to keep everything in order. Has a very Zen vibe to it and aesthetically pleasing. Location is amazing, you’re basically next to fishermen’s village with easy access to food and local stalls. If you’re travelling without kids I wouldn’t recommend it as there are kids everywhere and you are unlikely to find a quiet spot, however it was perfect for our toddler. There is a soft play, regular activities and a splash park, however there isn’t enough seating at the splash park and often gets crowded. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good variety and runs till 11 which is nice. The only let down was the type of guests staying there, a certain group of entitled tourists (that are also not welcome in some places in Thailand) that are quite rude and hostile to the staff and towards other guests. Staff have expressed their dissatisfaction with this also which is sad to hear as they have to deal with it daily. Holiday inn resort should take their staff’s wellbeing seriously. But if you look past this it’s an overall nice place to stay.

Stayed here as a couple. The resort has a pleasant beachfront setting, well kept grounds and a relaxed atmosphere. It is very clearly oriented towards families with children, with pools, activities and facilities designed with them in mind. Even though we were not travelling with children, this was still fine for us. What is particularly convenient is the night market and food stalls immediately next door, which operate in the late evenings a few times a week. Very handy for supper or picking up souvenirs without needing to arrange transport. As soon as you step outside the hotel you are on a main road with dozens of restaurants, pubs and massage parlours within a short walking distance, so finding somewhere to eat or have a drink is very easy. Our room was modern and very clean. The air conditioning was excellent, very cool, quiet and clearly a modern unit, which made sleeping comfortable. Staff were consistently attentive throughout the stay and always served with a smile. Very happy with our stay.
