We stayed at the resort for 6 nights with our kids, and it was truly one of the best family vacations we've ever had. The pool is large, clean, and perfect for both kids and adults. The Kids Club was a huge highlight – our children absolutely loved it and were excited to go every morning. The staff there were kind, creative, and fully engaged. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, catering to both Western and Asian preferences. We asked to upgrade our room – not because anything was wrong with the first one, but simply because we wanted a room with bunk beds for the kids. The staff handled the change quickly and with a smile, and the new room was perfect for us. But what really stood out was the incredible service. Every single team member made us feel welcome and cared for. We want to give special thanks to Pang, Tong, Lek, and Ms. Kate, who went above and beyond with their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. They made us feel truly at home. Highly recommended – especially for families who appreciate genuine hospitality and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Holiday Inn Resort Samui Bophut Beach! The resort is truly ideal for families, especially if you have young children. The pools are amazing — large, clean, and so much fun for the kids (and for us adults too!). We stayed in a beachfront room and waking up every morning to the stunning ocean view was magical. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The food at the resort was great — from breakfast to lunch, there were plenty of delicious options, and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always smiling and happy to help with anything we needed. Another big plus is the location: Many restaurants nearby within a short walking distance, offering a variety of local and international food. There's also a 7-Eleven just a few minutes away for anything you might need. The resort is literally steps from the beach, making it super convenient to enjoy the sea anytime. Overall, it was a perfect holiday experience for the whole family, and we will definitely come back! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Koh Samui, especially families with children.

Great for kids, but customer service needs improvement We stayed at the hotel for 11 days, with a short trip to Koh Phangan in between – and came back because the hotel is really great for families. For kids, it’s amazing. There’s everything they need to enjoy themselves, and the Kids Club staff are very kind and engaging. There are daily activities and the atmosphere is fun and safe – in that sense, the hotel is perfect. However, we had a few disappointing experiences: • Both times we checked in, the hotel called us shortly after entering the room – even though we had already given a deposit – to ask us to pay immediately. We had clearly explained we would pay later that evening after withdrawing cash. This approach felt rushed and unwelcoming. • After our first stay, I forgot two books in the room. I sent three emails asking about them, but received no reply – even though they did respond to other unrelated questions in the same emails. When we returned and asked in person, we were simply told the books were not found. We’re certain they were left behind, and it felt like our belongings were not treated with care or respect. • Lastly, even though the check-out time for members is stated as 14:00, we received a call at 12:15 telling us we needed to leave the room. I explained that we were in the process of packing, but they called again just five minutes later. After such a long stay, we expected them to at least honor the terms they had given us. In summary – the facilities and children’s activities are fantastic, but the overall customer care and attitude need attention. A bit more respect and flexibility would go a long way, especially for returning guests.

This is an awesome resort to stay at! The staff were all extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were spacey and clean with a very resort vibe to them. Great location for day trips since most tour companies will pick you up from the hotel and is short ride after that unless your doing pig island then it’s about a 45 min drive. Fisherman village market is also right there with tons of food options and vendors. Really cool fire show on the beach most nights which is only about a 2 minute walk from the Resort itself. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great for Families, But Nightlife Noise Can be an Issue This is a fantastic resort for families. The kids’ club, splash pad, and playground are excellent, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The location is also super convenient. But one thing I wish more reviews mentioned is the nighttime noise. The resort is right next to a night market and Coco Tams, which plays loud music until midnight. We were first in room 7103 and could hear the market until about 10:45 PM. Since I’m pregnant and traveling with a 4-year-old, we asked for a quieter room. None were available that night, but we were told we could move the next day. The staff kindly upgraded us to a sea-view suite, which was very generous and had lovely views. But we didn’t realize how loud the music from Coco Tams would be until that night. It was even louder than the original room. We were disappointed, and it’s hard to believe the hotel isn’t already aware of how much noise those rooms get. The hassle of packing and moving isn’t what you want on a holiday, especially when the new room makes things worse. I just wanted to relax, not feel like I was on spring break. Don’t get me wrong, I love a party but when you’re not at the party, it’s not as fun. And when you feel like a big bowling ball with swollen pregnant feet after a day in the sun with a 4-year-old, all you want is to go to sleep by 10 PM. If you’re traveling with kids and don’t mind the nightlife nearby, this resort has a lot to offer. We’ve traveled to a solid share of resorts in Thailand and the region, and the kid facilities here really are up there. But if you’re looking for peace and quiet, it may not be the right fit.
