We spent 4 nights as a family at the Holiday Inn Kandooma at the beginning of December and it was brilliant from start to finish. The pool was beautifully clean, ideally designed with gravitating depths to suit all abilities and well heated. The ‘kids eat free’ initiative was well received and suited us perfectly. The food was plentiful and there was something for everyone. As we requested, we had interconnecting rooms which were serviced daily and kept impeccably clean. However what stands out most about this hotel is the true hospitality of all staff members. Everyone was so welcoming, kind and helpful and the colleagues at breakfast in the mornings soon learnt our coffee order without us even having to ask. Whilst all staff were wonderful (too many to mention) the shout out star has to be Maleeh, the resorts guest experience champion. What a true gem, easily contactable, kind and genuinely wanting his guests to have a great stay. I can wholeheartedly recommend this resort as perfect with young kids and we can’t wait to return.

The experience at Holiday Inn Kandooma Resort was nothing short of spectacular. This was our second stay in the Maldives after staying in Maafushi for a few days. We were picked up from Maafushi on their private speedboat, and it was just a 30-minute ride from Maafushi. We were greeted with a welcome drink, and one of the staff members explained everything we needed to know about the island. Buggies were used for commuting around the island. One only needs to call the reception, and it will arrive within 10 minutes. We had booked a sea view beach house, and definitely had the most serene view in the island from our room. The major highlights were the staff and the hospitality that was provided. Always smiling and assisting us, and making our stay pleasureable. A special mention to Dwi who was our server in Kandooma cafe and made extra efforts to take into consideration our dietary restrictions. Also Anushka from the reception went over and beyond to make us comfortable and always got our requests resolved swiftly

A Memorable Family Retreat at Holiday Inn Kandooma Maldives Our stay at Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives was an exceptional experience that exceeded our expectations as a family-oriented getaway.​ Accommodation Excellence: The rooms at this resort were absolutely superb – impeccably clean with a wonderfully positive vibe throughout. What truly impressed us was their commitment to sustainability, evident in thoughtful touches like glass drinking water bottles and herbal shower gel. Whether we stayed in the garden villa or water villa, both accommodations were exceptionally well-oriented and maintained to the highest standards. The spacious layout and attention to detail made each room feel like a private sanctuary.​​ Exceptional Staff Members: I must give a special mention to Fathooh, an outstanding local staff member from the island who works in security. He is an absolute gem – his extensive knowledge of marine life is remarkable, and he captures stunning photographs that help preserve your vacation memories. Fathooh goes above and beyond to be helpful and genuinely makes every guest's stay memorable.​ A huge shout out to Ismail from Kandooma Cafe, who took extraordinary efforts to organize baby food for my toddler – his thoughtfulness and attention to our family's needs truly made a difference. I also want to recognize Nurjoom, Bhupati, and Santosh for their excellent service and warm hospitality throughout our stay.​ Dining Experience: The Kandooma Cafe, while offering decent survival food, unfortunately didn't quite cater to Indian taste buds as we had hoped. That said, the desserts were delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Maldivian night platter, which showcased authentic local cuisine.​ However, I must mention that Chef Soby was very arrogant and severely lacks customer-facing skills. His attitude was disappointing and stands in stark contrast to the otherwise warm and welcoming staff at the resort. This is an area that management should address to maintain the resort's reputation for excellent hospitality.​ Overall Impression: Holiday Inn Kandooma Maldives is an excellent choice for families, with overwhelmingly helpful staff throughout the resort and impressive end-to-end connectivity. The resort successfully balances family-friendly amenities with the natural beauty of the Maldives, creating a welcoming environment where guests can relax and create lasting memories. Despite the dining challenges, we highly recommend this resort for families seeking a well-rounded island experience with genuine hospitality from most team members.​

Very beautiful resort,good food, professional staff,very attentive and very helpful. I lost my luggage at airport,they made sure to keep me posted by making a call everyday at the airport,it was found 3 days later ,they sent their speedboat specially for my luggage to get picked up from the airport, amazing hospitality. A very special thank you to shrishti who help me find good outfits from the store and who made sure I don't feel anxious. A special thanks to selena from the reception area. Thanks to ajay for serving us better at the bar counter . A special thanks to Shivang from the reception area. They allowed us for a late check out as our flight was late evening. The service was way beyond our expectations.

We are currently staying at Holiday Inn Kandooma, Maldives, and our experience has been absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, the food is excellent, and the activities are well organized and fun. We are vegetarians, and we were pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of vegetarian options available—much more than we expected in an island resort. The staff has been extremely accommodating with dietary preferences as well. A special mention to Bala from the hospitality team. He served us multiple times during our stay and has been exceptional—kind, attentive, and genuinely caring toward guests. His service really made our experience even better. Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!
