We had an unforgettable stay at Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and cared for. Thank you Selena for our wonderful check in experience. The island itself is stunning — turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and beautifully maintained facilities. Our villa was modern, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The food options were excellent with a great variety, and the service across all restaurants was attentive and friendly. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality that made the experience feel personal. Thank you Bala for your wonderful service and care. The activities were also a highlight — we loved the diving in crystal-clear waters to simply watching the sunsets, every moment felt magical. A big thank you to Luca and the Kandooma dive centre team for making our dives safe, fun, and unforgettable — your professionalism and passion for the ocean made the experience truly special! Overall, this resort is a perfect balance of luxury and warmth, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable Maldives getaway. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return.

A Memorable Family Retreat at Holiday Inn Kandooma Maldives Our stay at Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives was an exceptional experience that exceeded our expectations as a family-oriented getaway.​ Accommodation Excellence: The rooms at this resort were absolutely superb – impeccably clean with a wonderfully positive vibe throughout. What truly impressed us was their commitment to sustainability, evident in thoughtful touches like glass drinking water bottles and herbal shower gel. Whether we stayed in the garden villa or water villa, both accommodations were exceptionally well-oriented and maintained to the highest standards. The spacious layout and attention to detail made each room feel like a private sanctuary.​​ Exceptional Staff Members: I must give a special mention to Fathooh, an outstanding local staff member from the island who works in security. He is an absolute gem – his extensive knowledge of marine life is remarkable, and he captures stunning photographs that help preserve your vacation memories. Fathooh goes above and beyond to be helpful and genuinely makes every guest's stay memorable.​ A huge shout out to Ismail from Kandooma Cafe, who took extraordinary efforts to organize baby food for my toddler – his thoughtfulness and attention to our family's needs truly made a difference. I also want to recognize Nurjoom, Bhupati, and Santosh for their excellent service and warm hospitality throughout our stay.​ Dining Experience: The Kandooma Cafe, while offering decent survival food, unfortunately didn't quite cater to Indian taste buds as we had hoped. That said, the desserts were delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Maldivian night platter, which showcased authentic local cuisine.​ However, I must mention that Chef Soby was very arrogant and severely lacks customer-facing skills. His attitude was disappointing and stands in stark contrast to the otherwise warm and welcoming staff at the resort. This is an area that management should address to maintain the resort's reputation for excellent hospitality.​ Overall Impression: Holiday Inn Kandooma Maldives is an excellent choice for families, with overwhelmingly helpful staff throughout the resort and impressive end-to-end connectivity. The resort successfully balances family-friendly amenities with the natural beauty of the Maldives, creating a welcoming environment where guests can relax and create lasting memories. Despite the dining challenges, we highly recommend this resort for families seeking a well-rounded island experience with genuine hospitality from most team members.​

Really had great time with food & services. All the staff was very nice & welcoming especially Shivan at front desk & Bala from restaurant team. Bala hosted us at restaurant So nicely & was very caring for the kids. Special thanks to him. Shivan was very quick to arrange the stroller for our baby & that was really touching. Not to forget, Rateesh at sunset bar was so well behaved & served us really amazing drinks.

My wife and I recently stayed here for 4 nights. Everything about the stay was amazing, from check-in to check-out. Maleeh made our check-in so smooth and made us feel so welcomed right from the beginning. Everyone working there were so nice and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was more than we ever could have expected. The room was lovely, the food was great and we did the dive package that was an unbelievable experience! Everyone in the dive shop was amazing. Big thanks to Shaan, Luca and Sam who made our diving experience as awesome as it was! We're still novice divers and they made us feel super comfortable and safe. Especially, Sam as he was our guide for the majority of our dives. We can't thank them enough, it was such an amazing trip and we saw so many amazing things on the dives. The only thing that would have made it better was if we stayed longer :)

We loved our time spent in holiday inn resort. Really impressed with the food served here and the staffs were very supportive especially Mr. Bala who was with us for all our needs. The Over water villa and the beach villa are lifetime experience. This is one of the most memorable trips we had and will be again visiting here next year.
