We had an unforgettable stay at Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and cared for. Thank you Selena for our wonderful check in experience. The island itself is stunning — turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and beautifully maintained facilities. Our villa was modern, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The food options were excellent with a great variety, and the service across all restaurants was attentive and friendly. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality that made the experience feel personal. Thank you Bala for your wonderful service and care. The activities were also a highlight — we loved the diving in crystal-clear waters to simply watching the sunsets, every moment felt magical. A big thank you to Luca and the Kandooma dive centre team for making our dives safe, fun, and unforgettable — your professionalism and passion for the ocean made the experience truly special! Overall, this resort is a perfect balance of luxury and warmth, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable Maldives getaway. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return.

I recently had a truly wonderful dining experience thanks to Sai and Santosh from the Holiday Inn Food Department. The quality of both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine was truly exceptional everything I tasted was prepared to a very high standard. The dishes I enjoyed, specifically the corn rice and the paneer, were absolutely delicious; the paneer, in particular, had a truly great flavor and texture. Beyond the fantastic taste, the service provided by Sai and Santosh was outstanding. They are clearly very talented chefs, and I especially loved the care and skill with which they prepared the food. Furthermore, their personable and professional manner elevated the entire experience. The way they engaged with guests made a significant and positive impression. Five stars for a brilliant blend of great food and wonderful service.

Unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Big shout out to Malee for being so helpful during our stay. Rooms: We stayed in a beach villa and it was great. Rooms were clean and they provided us with everything we needed - even a beach bag to bring our things to the beach! Beds were very comfortable and the view of the beach every morning was unforgettable! Service: Very kind and attentive staff. We felt at home and all of our needs were attended to quickly. Location: Located 45mins away by speed boat. Staff met us at the airport and guided us towards the boat. Very smooth experience. The water is absolutely gorgeous. Activities: We went paddle boarding and also participated in the house reef snorkelling. I definitely would recommend the house reef snorkelling - it was beautiful. If you are a weaker swimmer, I would recommend using a life jacket. You can also ask for snorkelling gear and snorkel around the island. We snorkelled near the overwater rooms and we were able to see many fish, coral reefs and a sting ray a few metres from the shore!

Pros: Stunning resort with crystal-clear water and very clean surroundings. Friendly, attentive staff who make you feel at home. Excellent food with a wide variety of international cuisines. Thoughtful kid-sized bowls to avoid food wastage. Kandoo Kids Club is fantastic — full-day activities, playtime, and movies. Special thanks to Bala & Ravinder at Kandooma Café and Selena from the front desk for their exceptional care. Cons: Resort policy restricts exploration outside the island. Most water activities are charged in USD and quite expensive. Limited free/complimentary activity options. Overall: Great for families with kids, relaxing, scenic, and well-maintained.

Our family had an unforgettable experience at Kandooma Resort. The island itself is breathtaking — pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and a beautifully run resort — but what truly set it apart was the warmth and professionalism of the people. During our stay, my son unexpectedly needed medical attention. We were incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Aiman on site. Not only was he thorough and knowledgeable with his medical care, but he also went above and beyond in rapidly organising my son’s transfer to hospital. He personally coordinated everything and made sure we felt supported at every step. I can't thank him enough!! Also a special mention to our chaperone, Zailam, who accompanied us throughout the process. He was attentive, kind, and ensured that everything ran smoothly — from communication to making sure we were comfortable and informed. His calm presence made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. Also thank you to the surf guides for their professionalism and knowledge really added to the trip. Thanks to the professionalism and genuine care of the entire team — from the medical staff to the surf crew — our holiday remained a positive and unforgettable experience despite the unexpected challenge. Kandooma isn’t just a beautiful resort; it’s a place where you feel looked after like family. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Aiman, Zailam, and the surf guides, and we would not hesitate to recommend Kandooma Resort to anyone looking for the perfect Maldivian getaway.
