The property is located near Mobor beach and has private access to a clean, white-sand beach with a good sunset view. The property is huge and has many attractions inside (Kids' play area, activity center, spa, salon, open ground, and tennis court). It has multiple-cuisine restaurants (Zest, Beach Grill, Sundowner, and more) which provide good options to suit your taste. #GoodPlaceForFamily

Our stay at Holiday Inn on 5th September was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The front desk team was courteous and efficient, and the restaurant staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. We were thoroughly briefed about the property and its facilities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Special mention to the housekeeping team for their impeccable service. Overall, it was a delightful experience that exceeded our expectations — Holiday Inn truly knows how to deliver hospitality.

We recently hosted a large family gathering at Holiday Inn Resort Goa, booking 19 rooms and traveling as a group of over 43 people from October 2nd to 5th, 2025. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations, particularly in terms of hospitality and management. Check-in Process: 1 out of 5 Although the official check-in time is 3 PM, several rooms were only made available between 3 and 3:30 PM, despite repeated follow-ups. A few rooms were provided early (around 1 PM) on special request, but the delayed allocation of five rooms disrupted our schedule and caused unnecessary inconvenience for the entire group. Room Quality and Transparency: 3 out of 5 A key issue was the lack of transparency regarding room size variations across villas. While we had booked all rooms within villas, there were significant differences in room sizes that we were not informed about beforehand. This led to challenges when assigning rooms to families with children. The rooms themselves were average — more in line with a 3- or 4-star property rather than a 5-star resort. Food Quality: 2.5 out of 5 Our package included all meals, but the overall food quality was underwhelming. The buffet lacked variety, and there was minimal attention to dietary preferences. The taste and presentation did not align with the premium standards expected from a reputed resort. Check-out Experience: 0 out of 5 The check-out process was the most disappointing aspect of our stay. Although half of the rooms were vacated by 8 AM as a courtesy, the rest were expected to be vacated by 12 noon, as clearly stated on the hotel’s website. However, the front office abruptly insisted on an 11 AM sharp check-out for group bookings, offering inconsistent and illogical explanations. The duty manager, Mr. Ranjan, handled the situation poorly — his dismissive attitude and lack of professionalism worsened an already frustrating experience. Staff Service While the management and front-office interactions were disappointing, we would like to acknowledge the junior staff — including the buggy drivers, restaurant servers, and security personnel — for their politeness, dedication, and helpfulness throughout our stay. Location The resort’s location remains its only strong point, offering beautiful surroundings and convenient access to the beach. Final Recommendation Overall, our stay was far from satisfactory. Given the repeated lapses in management, poor coordination, and subpar hospitality, we do not recommend this property for group or family stays and will not be returning in the future.

Warm Hospitality and Well-Maintained Property We stayed at the resort last week with our family and friend family, and had such a lovely two-day break. The place is spotless, really well kept, and has a very welcoming vibe. The staff across the board—front desk, housekeeping, and restaurants—were super polite and friendly, which made the stay feel special. As an IHG Diamond Elite member, I really appreciated being recognized —it definitely added to the experience. Both the 5 years olds had great fun at the Kids activity area, play zone and the beach, which made it even better for us parents. All in all, it was a great stay and we’d happily come back again whenever we get the chance! Cheers!!

Tgis resort is situated probably on one of the best locations in South Goa. Wide and deep beaches with barely any crowd. They have a lovely lawn from where you can witness the sunset or sit at their beach restaurant and enjoy the sun soak into the sea.
