Great location and value. Destiny at the front desk was super helpful getting us checked in. Appreciated the clean comfortable linens, daily housekeeping which was managed to be accomplished effortlessly while we were out and about plus complimentary lobby water, tea and coffee, and the really good parking lot deal arrangement. Only minor issues: no blackout curtains to accompany the shade for blocking the morning sun, and the mattress could have been a little more comfortable. Otherwise the room was efficiently laid out and we had a terrific stay.

Great value for money. Room was super clean. Destiny at the front desk was a sweetheart and handled a difficult guest in front of me like a pro! My one recommendation would be to bring earplugs because you can hear the other rooms’ doors close. Better yet- the hotel could dampen the sound to make the closures a bit less jarring.

We’re back from our New York trip—what an amazing city! We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms are modern and clean. Destiny made our stay even more enjoyable by offering us a room upgrade with a stunning view of the skyline, including the Empire State Building. Two things we liked less were the room insulation—it’s quite noisy—and the sometimes long wait for the elevator.

From my experience, this is a very standard "second-tier" Midtown hotel. The room is small, yes, but it's exactly the same as what you'll get at any other old (1920s-1950s built) Midtown hotel in this class. Many other said they had issues getting their security deposits refunded. I didn't. But also, the stay was booked on points. Not saying it isn't an issue for others, just that I can't confirm it happened to me. Another common complaint is slow elevators. This also wasn't an issue for me, but with the important caveat that my stay was a Sunday night in late winter when occupancy was low (I'm assuming, based on how cheap hotel rates were throughout Midtown compared to adjacent nights). I can definitely see how there would be a long wait for elevators at times, especially in the morning. Unfortunately, that too is very common for this age and class of hotel in Midtown. If the hotel is busy, you're likely to experience elevator congestion at any similar hotel. Good things to consider: the rear rooms on the upper floors have a great view of the Empire State Building, if that's your thing. 26th Street is substantially quieter/less hectic than anywhere north of 34th St, but still very centrally located with multiple subway stops very close by, and a short walk from Penn Station.

Booked this for a 4 days stays. The best thing I like about this hotel is SERVICE👏🏻. Hands Down for this. Everyday there will be room clean service, hotel staff is very friendly. You can get 24*7 coffee and tea complimentary at the reception. Thank you Holiday Inn for making my stay safe, comfortable, and hygienic.
