We have a great room Plenty of variety of food. Especially vegetables and fruit. Entertainers seem keen and lively. A nice big theatre - havent seen show yet as we've been out walking. A nice selection of flowers and palms after the English winter, nice to see. Different areas to sit / upstairs bar with sunset view is nice. Kids splash park is great. Quiet lengths pool is good/ COLD . As well as the other main 'play' pools. Good views to the Montana Roja. Bus stop 50 metres to get you around the area. 1.40 each currently. Only slight drawback ( if you have young children ) is you have to walk at least 10 mins minimum along main road to get anywhere. Much better than reviews I have seen though

I've been to many all inclusive resorts over the years and this one was ok. Reasonable selection of food - but often Luke warm which was disappointing. If you're not fussy, then there's more than enough to choose from. Glasses / cups were often dirty and ran out daily at busy times. The BBQ evenings went down well with tasty pork ribs. Close to flamingo beach, the dino water park at the sister hotel was enjoyed by the kids and 10 minutes walk away. Main pool was cold but plenty of sun loungers. Evening entertainment was varied and again the kids enjoyed it. Good value for money, decent bungalow style accommodation and basic snacks available all day if needed. For a 5 day easy family break, it was absolutely fine.

Our 2 bedroom bungalow was very nice, clean and spacious. Pillows on the beds were old and not very good quality. Hot tub v noisy, had it turned off. Hotel pool v nice, 1 heated, 1 not. Good size, v deep so be careful with your little ones as there's only 1 lifeguard. Hotel pool bar was v poor, horrible nacho cheese smell there which I think is a management ploy to deter folks from drinking more. Food, breakfast was ok, lunch was ok, evening meal was poor. Go to Playa Blanca for food in the evening, there's a really good choice and only 20 mins walk away. Evening entertainment was bad, 2 nights the 9.15 performance was cancelled with no notice. Interestingly, the management could give me the name of the act on the Saturday morning for the performance that night. A big shame as the outdoor theatre is quite impressive. Gardens were lovely, just wish people would not throw litter. The pool bar having paper cups for beer was particularly disappointing. Ok for a few nights, or even a week, but any longer and you'd be wishing you'd stayed at the Iberostar down the road.

Our first time both visiting Lanzarote and experiencing all-inclusive, and we had a great time. Accommodation is in bungalows, ours featured a lounge area, spacious twin beds with comfortable mattress and a large bathroom with walk-in shower, with a small south-facing terrace area outside. The room was cleaned daily and the gardens around it were kept in great condition. Of the three pools, we only used the smaller pool as it was the warmest during our end-of-January visit. It's easy to imagine this area becoming busy in the summer months, however we also used the space around the larger pool which is tucked away near the edge of the resort for a quieter poolside experience. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. There were regular BBQs outside and chefs preparing omelettes etc (expect a queue) during mealtimes. The selection was varied each day and as a vegetarian there was only one occasion where I struggled to create a suitable meal, otherwise I was happy with the range and identification of vege dishes. The indoor and outdoor dining areas were clean and the serving team were effective at clearing plates quickly. The walk to the nearest beach and prom takes 15 minutes and involves crossing one road (there is a pedestrian crossing). Accessibility is generally good with flat surfaces around the resort and ramps used instead of stairs. Some access to bungalows, although flat, is steep and would be an inconvenience if using a wheelchair or have difficulty walking. Access to the front of the resort is on a small hill however this becomes the first floor of the block housing reception and stairs lead to the ground floor - there is a lift however this was out of order during our visit (it was being fixed for the duration so hopefully will be working again soon). We enjoyed our experience at this resort, the staff were friendly and the entertainment team hardworking although as a couple with no kids we didn't get involved in any activities or shows. At times the dining room was noisy purely due to the amount of people choosing to eat at the same time however this was not a major issue. I imagine in the height of summer this resort could be very busy with families and kids, but we were very happy with our new-year stay here.

Arrived feb 24 at Rio Playa Blanca, and received a very friendly welcome at the reception. Upon arrival at the bungalow, our first disappointment began: it didn't live up to the advertised 4-star rating. The cleaning left much to be desired (see photos). The bathroom was a complete mess of mold. This was simply sickening. We filed a complaint with reception, but so far 1 day later,  the hotel has taken no action. Then there was the restaurant, which was a complete mess, definitely not worthy of a 4-star rating. We're filing a complaint with the tour operator Corendon today, so we'll just have to wait and see. Thanks to Corendon Hostes intervention, we were given another room/bungalow that was mold-free. This wasn't easy either; the hostess even had to have a stern conversation with the reception. This morning we had breakfast in the restaurant, which was very extensive and much quieter than the previous evening's dinner. The hotel is overflowing with English guests, and the restaurant and the food is fully prepared for this. This includes the inconvenience caused by the aforementioned. The food itself is okay. It's just very geared towards English guests. Outside of the restaurant, there's a snack bar and an Italian restaurant. The snack bar is fine for a hamburger. The food is surprisingly always nice and hot, which is something we've not always experienced before. There is a lobby bar next to the reception, but in bad weather it is far too small for the number of guests staying in the hotel. The hotel has a beautiful, large swimming pool, located in front of the the restaurant. An active animation team and a lifeguard at the swimmingpool. The layout of the park is beautiful, clean and spacious, with neatly landscaped gardens and stone paths running through them. A supermarket is close to the swimming pool, you can get there drinks and other needings. The hotel is really not bad, but can improve in some points in our opinion. 2026 feb.
