The rooms are nice. Not really sure if housekeeping is supposed to clean the floors or glass on balconies I don’t know but this didn’t happen until final day of our visit. Balcony glass covered in bird poop. Beach could be beautiful but a lot of plastic garbage just raked at top of sand in front of casas 2 and 3. We expected lots of rocks so they were not really an issue. Service at bars and restaurants absolutely great. Steakhouse has great food. Other restaurants had lots of food choices just seemed like weird combinations and not great flavors. Drinks okay not many liquor choices just very cheap brands. Resort is pretty but no real bright floral plants, like we have enjoyed at other places in that area. It did seem like a really nice hotel just not a great resort. We are HVG owners and were excited to see an all inclusive in that area since we normally use RCI to visit the area for our vacations. Probably won’t return to this one.

Beautiful resort, amazing service — but the raccoons were a dealbreaker. Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya is truly stunning. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are immaculate, and the entire resort feels luxurious and well maintained. The heated pools were a highlight — absolutely perfect — and the restaurants were excellent with great variety. You do need reservations for most restaurants (except the buffet) and even for the bicycle tour, but overall, the food and service across every restaurant, bar, and activity were exceptional. The staff went above and beyond, and the entertainment team was fantastic. It’s important to note that the resort doesn’t have a true sandy beach. The water area is rocky, so you’ll need water shoes, and while scenic, it’s not ideal for swimming. Thankfully, the pools more than made up for it. The spa was incredible — one of the best we’ve experienced — and the resort itself is spotless and beautifully designed with photo spots and thoughtful touches everywhere. This is definitely more of a family-friendly resort, with lots of activities for kids and families. Everything wraps up by around 10 p.m., so there isn’t much nightlife for couples or single adults. The resort is also in a secluded area of Tulum, about 20–30 minutes from the hotel zone and popular beach clubs. We had a car, so it wasn’t a problem for us, but something to note for those planning to explore. Unfortunately, the biggest downside — and the reason I wouldn’t return — was the raccoon issue. Once night fell, wild raccoons freely roamed the resort’s walkways, lobbies, and even poolside areas, scavenging through trash and climbing tables. Some guests found it amusing, but it honestly left me anxious and uncomfortable throughout the stay. At one point, a raccoon even tried to follow us into our room through the balcony door. I understand the resort’s location is within the jungle, but the sheer number of raccoons made it hard to relax, especially at night. Overall, Hilton Tulum is visually stunning with outstanding service, food, and amenities — but the wildlife issue was a major deterrent for me personally. If that doesn’t bother you, you’ll likely love it here. For us, it was beautiful but not a place we’d return to.

The hotel was great! No issues with customer service whatsoever. I was a bit nervous after reading the google reviews. The lunch buffet was below par but the other options were good. Martin in hotel transportation was amazing. He ensured that he was always available for me and my group to get us back n forth to the rooms. Very reliable and professional. Ask for him! I would definitely recommend this resort.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ We had such a wonderful stay at the Hilton All-Inclusive Resort in Tulum! The staff and customer service were truly five-star — everyone was friendly, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and we loved how much there was to do each day. From kayaking and beach volleyball to relaxing by the water (and the unlimited ice cream!), there was always something fun and relaxing to enjoy. If I could give half stars, I’d say 4.5 — the only small downside for us was that the food didn’t quite meet the same high standard as everything else. But overall, the experience was amazing, and we’re so grateful for our stay. I’d definitely recommend it for the incredible service, activities, and overall atmosphere!

I was told Tulum was an amazing place to visit, and it really is — very safe for families and full of beauty. Unfortunately, the Hilton Tulum completely failed when it comes to the beach experience. I expected so much more from a Hilton resort. This was honestly the worst beach I’ve ever been to in my life. Make sure to bring water shoes, because the rocks will cut your feet if you try to go into the ocean. I can’t believe a resort of this level would have a beach like that — it’s all rocks, no soft sand or easy access to the water. On the positive side, the pools are great, the staff is amazing, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. But I came to Mexico to enjoy the ocean, and that part was such a disappointment. If the beach is important to you, I’d recommend looking at Playa del Carmen or Cancun instead
