We stayed at the Hilton Salalah Resort last week as a five days trip of two friends. I was welcomed as a Hilton Honours member and was offered a complimentary upgrade. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The rooms and gym were recently renovated. They were spotless clean and everything was brand new. Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful. In terms of improvement, I suggest improving the restaurant’s menu and provide the waiters with some more training on customer service and the menu choices. Moreover, additional facilities in the hotel would be great such as kids play areas and a variety of restaurants. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Overall its a 5 star, whenever I come to Salalah I have to choose this hotel, the service they offer is a 10/10 I had to wait only 5 minutes for them to collect my luggage, they also clean these rooms pretty quickly and the rooms are well cleaned and are pretty cozy, although they aren’t the best but they are highly great, but I asked for a mountain view and they moved me to a room that leads to a construction view, I didn’t care much but I hope they work on it. In the conclusion I would definitely recommend this hotel.

They say it’s a 5 star hotel but the hotel works like a 2 star hotel. Overall our stay was very bad and not something to be happy about. They say it’s pet friendly but they charge you extra 50 OMR. The policy was never mentioned when you book through agencies. Clearly there is misleading information about this hotel. We had booked for mountain view room but they downgraded it to a view with construction people walking around. It was very unprofessional. Also the night pub culture is very bad. They just host the party to promote a bad culture. There are ladies misbehaving and throwing glass bottles around. How are they even allowing such pathetic behaviour!! Also they don’t give a damn when the guests arrive and about collecting the luggage. We had to wait approx 1 hour for someone to come and collect our luggage after telling them multiple times. Also the receptionist isn’t friendly. You don’t get parking spot because the people who come to the pub are given more priority and provided parking. Please make it a thing that you mention your policies clearly via agencies and booking apps. I would say that it’s a scam to mislead people.

Staying here for 2 months as part of a long-term work contract. The service here is fantastic. The front desk staff, kitchen staff, room service personnel, etc are very welcoming and professional, and have helped both my wife and I feel at home, despite us being all the way from the USA. The beachfront is great and calming, and the pool area is well kept. Will look forward to them completing construction on their new gym area.

The location is excellent, services team were very helpful except house keeping was bad! Rooms furniture looks to be old, and breakfast was below expectations compared to price of stay reservations. However, I highly don’t recommend it for family during Salalah season, it was one of worst stays at Salalah! Night party was taking place every night in the garden nearby rooms, very noisy and you hear it like they are setting in your room till the morning and you can’t sleep. I spoke to reception several times and they couldn’t make any thing! It was used to be nice place for families as I came here in 2016, but I believe other hotels are more quiet and neater. I will never back here again although I have a membership in Hilton Group.
