Booked this trip for my husbands birthday Dec17-22. I have to say this is by far the best resort I’ve ever stayed in! From check in to check out it was perfection! I have a difficult time enjoying vacations because of my OCD but this place was immaculate. My room was cleaned to perfection every day! The food was amazing, staff friendly and so helpful. The entertainment was fun. The beach was beautiful. My only complaint is the pillows are too soft and didn’t support my head at night. Next time I’ll bring my pillow. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. I will definitely come back again soon and stay longer!!! Thank you to everyone at the Hyatt for making this the most enjoyable vacation!!!!

This hotel has to be one of the best I've stayed in Playa del Carmen. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate his birthday and he was so celebrated. The customer service was top notch. If you want to be worry free and we'll taken care up, this is the place to stay. Thank you so much to all the staff that works here. I cannot wait to be back! Also, this hotel has beach access and is within walking distance to quinta avenida, where we dis so much walking around and tried additional places to eat.

An unforgettable stay — perfect in every way! I took my Mom to Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen for a three-day vacation, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable trips of our lives. This was her first time visiting Mexico, and she absolutely fell in love with it — largely because of this wonderful resort. The resort facilities are beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with multiple stunning swimming pools, spotless grounds, and an atmosphere that feels both lively and relaxing. Everything was impressively clean and well maintained, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The restaurants were excellent, offering great food and a variety of options that we enjoyed every day. What truly made this stay exceptional was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, but I would especially like to recognize Alejandro, the gentleman who helped us during check-in. He is outstanding — knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and genuinely caring. He knows the resort inside and out and gave us fantastic recommendations that helped us make the most of our short stay. He even noticed that it was my birthday month and arranged a small celebration, which meant so much to both my Mom and me. My Mom is a neurosurgeon and a TikTok fashion icon in China, and she is over 70 years old. At this resort, she took some of the best photos of her lifetime — she felt happy, confident, and truly inspired here. Seeing her enjoy every moment made this trip incredibly special to me. Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen exceeded all our expectations. If you’re looking for a resort with beautiful pools, excellent dining, impeccable cleanliness, and truly caring staff, this is the place. We will treasure these memories forever and would love to come back again.

Had the most incredible time at Hyatt vivid Playa Del Carmen the week of December 6, 2025 through the 13th. The daily events, i.e. Pool exercises, Foam Party, were so much fun. The condition of the resort is pristine. Nowhere was found a condition that needed to be addressed. Our Daily housekeeper, Deysi Gomez, was extraordinary. Our room everyday was spotlessly cleaned. We cannot say enough about the wonderful staff at Hyatt Vivid. A few of the staff members I would like to commend are: The Spice Restaurant Manager, Jose, who went above and beyond to ensure our dining needs were always meet and made our dining there very memorable. The Spice Restaurant Evening Manager, Fidencia, who also was incredible and always attended to our requests with the biggest of smiles. The Spice Restaurant Waiter, Miguel, whose warm smile, friendliness and attentiveness always made the start of our day wonderful. The Spa treatments were also fantastic. Christina, our masseuse, gave us a massage that I have to say was one of the best I ever experienced and Erik made sure I had everything needed for the treatments. The food at every venue we visited was a culinary experience, from the amazing rooftop Lobster dinner to the Chef’s Plate. We cannot express enough of our gratitude to the entire staff at Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen for making out vacation a most pleasant and memorable one. We Are so looking forward to returning next year.

Went for our annual girls trip. Our experience was amazing! All the staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely cared about everyone having a great time. The resort is beautiful, service was superb, entertainment was amazing, and the entertainment team was energetic, friendly and welcoming! We absolutely loved Aranza and Aaron! So many fun activities going on there was really no need to leave the resort. We also enjoyed some amazing massages and facials in the spa. Miley in the spa was top notch! Nothing but great things to say about this resort.
