Now the Hyatt Vivid. Loved the pool area. We came for a bachelorette. Drinks were delicious. Pools were kept clean for the most part, though there were raccoons that would pee in the pool. The beach was not worth it. Right next to a boat dock and very narrow beach front, we didn’t go in the ocean while we’re were there. Massages / facials were terrible, did not appear to have properly trained staff. Food was also pretty bad at most of the restaurants. I did enjoy the room service and the Mediterranean restaurant dolma. Overall, the rooms and facilities were nice, i like the entertainment group. The food was my biggest down fall. Would likely not return.

We just got back last night from 1 week at Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen. My fiancé and I both had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend this resort. The food was great, probably the best I've had at an all inclusive. People recommended Pelicano's for breakfast but we found the buffet at Spice better (nothing wrong with Pelicanos though). La Casona was visited twice we enjoyed it so much! Our vibe was 100% quiet pool which was so great and Roberto working the bar there was amazing! The location so close to 5th Ave. was so convenient to have a quick break from the resort. Plus the room was large and clean. All in all we tried to have some negative comments but they were just nit picky things, not worth mentioning.

Me and the wife did our "baby moon" Dec 10-17th at the Hyatt. Room was great, great restaurants, only downside was the rocks in the water at the beach just in front of the hotel. Not really swimmable, you had to walk about 100m down the beach to be able so swim around. We had great food at all restaurants but we took most of our meals at Pelicanos. Great view of the ocean while enjoying our breakfast and lunch. The staff was amazing! From Miriam the hostess to our great waiters, Maximiliano, Adan, Ruben and Daniel. The entertainment team was also amazing, my wife and I did alot of activities and they were all great, special shoutout to Roxan! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing week at the Hyatt Vivid. It was our first time visiting the resort and we could not have picked a better week. The first week of December the weather was in the 80’s all week. Once we arrived, we upgraded our room to the Ocean View swim out. It was well worth the upgrade. Having access to the beach directly from the room, your own private swim area, and a butler. We had a butler named Mario and his service was incredible. He made sure that all of our needs were met daily but was not over bearing. He took care of our daily dinner reservations and had a daily visit to make sure we didn’t have any additional needs. He made sure that we had a relaxing vacation with no worries of anything. We plan to visit the Hyatt in the Spring and will request the same room with Mario as our butler. This was an unforgettable experience.

This hotel has to be one of the best I've stayed in Playa del Carmen. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate his birthday and he was so celebrated. The customer service was top notch. If you want to be worry free and we'll taken care up, this is the place to stay. Thank you so much to all the staff that works here. I cannot wait to be back! Also, this hotel has beach access and is within walking distance to quinta avenida, where we dis so much walking around and tried additional places to eat.
