We had an amazing stay at Hyatt Vivid Adults Only Resort! The staff were friendly, the food and drinks were delicious, and the whole atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful. were delicious, and the atmosphere was so relaxing and beautiful. The jetter tube for two was definitely a highlight! A lot of fun and unforgettable experience! I also loved the little door for room service- they could drop off food without ever entering the room. Such a smart and private touch! Everything was spotless, peaceful, and full of good vibes. I can't wait to come back! (Mini bar in your room is only stocked with water, soda, chips, and beer)

We had a great time on our honeymoon here! The food is amazing. Honestly probably the best all inclusive food that you can get. This place should be famous simply for the food alone. However the rooms were wonderful and resort was utterly beautiful. Lots of activities and fun every single night. Even when it rained there was so much to do. So many incredible people/staff. We loved Xander who ran the events. He was incredibly friendly and hard working. All of the people waiters and waitresses worked tirelessly. Mario and Sergio as well as the other waiters at Spice buffet were incredible and made us feel so special. They brought us a special treat for our honeymoon/last day. Juan from Dolma (our top pick restaurant) was incredible and gave amazing service. Roberto from the pool always had a drink ready for us and the bartenders were so fun and made great drinks. It is unbelievable how hardworking, upbeat and positive the staff was at this resort. We will be coming back very soon.

Pros Check In went great Rogelio house arrival excellent Front desk German was excellent Arbey bartender was excellent Actually we were very happy with all the service and workers, we were afraid because of Trump they would treat Americans poorly, but that didn’t happen. The resort is very beautiful, so spread out so it’s a lot of walking. Sargassum was gone for the most part which was great. The beaches in Cancun and Playa Del Carmen were inundated with sargassum all summer but spared us Sept 28 - Oct 4. Cons 2 Oceanfront restaurants were closed for remodeling, so restaurant options were reduced. Food quality was less than appealing. The one restaurant that had better quality food “Chef’s Plate” was small and elegant but cost extra just to get in. They also charged extra for premium steaks and lobster (so much for all inclusive). The animals: several raccoons, coati, iguanas. That’s a deal breaker with me if they continue to have raccoons and coati on the property. The excursions desk “Amstar” didn’t provide good options for our seniors. Catamaran was the only boat options. They pushed the cenotes but most of our seniors weren’t interested in cenotes. Watch out for vendors on 5th avenue, several in our group credit cards were overcharged ($300-$800) USD for small items like T-Shirts. Be careful using credit cards and exchanges for USD to Peso can be tricky as well.

I couldn't ask for a better stay. This adults only all inclusive resort is the bomb.com! There's no shortage of activities to do Beaches to walk, sightseeing, and shopping! The staff are so courteous,attentive and professional. I mean it's like out of a storybook. The rooms are pristine and clean, the grounds are SUPER well maintained and views are breathtaking. Everyone has their own patio with a hammock, 2 chairs and a little table. The double jacuzzi tub is crazy comfortable and relaxing. I can't say enough about thus place besides I'm definitely coming back! And if you get a chance try Hyatt Centric in San Jose, Costa Rica!! Same awesome experience!!

Just got back from Hyatt Vivid in Playa del Carmen. Check in with Yadina was great! She gave us a free upgrade to ocean view room. The room was amazing! Huge room and balcony! The service was outstanding! We were treated so special! Whatever we asked for they would go out of their way to make it happen! We wanted steak without the extra charge and they brought a huge platter of ribeye, filets and sirloin!
