A little slice of heaven. We just spent 10 nights at the Hilton Amingiri resort and it was fabulous. After 3 nights there I felt completely relaxed and refreshed. The remaining 7 nights were just gravy. The food is amazing, the massages were off the hook, the beaches were beautiful, and the scuba diving was really nice too. I'd like to personally thank our GEM Reea who made our visit effortless and perfect. We couldn't ask for a better vacation. I'd also like to thank my massage therapist, Sonam. She was one of the best therapists I've ever had. Her technique is fantastic and so relaxing plus she knows how to do sensitive feet. I'd like to thank the staff at Habitat and Aura as well - they're all so friendly and truly care about delivering amazing dining experiences. And finally, thanks to Totte our dive master for keeping us safe and showing us the incredible underwater world near the resort. Rob C.

This was my third—and likely last—visit to this resort. While it once felt like a true luxury escape, it now resembles more of a mid-level experience. With occupancy rates now consistently above 80%, the difference in service quality is noticeable. Staff seem overwhelmed, and unfortunately, negligence has crept into many areas. That said, you’ll still enjoy your time—it's the Maldives, after all! But here are my honest observations: The hotel’s aesthetics, furniture, and finishes feel worn out, with visible dirt, rust, and wear. Bridges and wooden walkways are in need of proper maintenance. Some flooring shows signs of dark rust-like stains, making it feel neglected. The kids’ club is underwhelming, especially when busy. Staff often appear distracted or focused on looking busy rather than actively engaging with the children. The kids' pool area has multiple levels and dangerously slippery surfaces—my child slipped and hurt himself there. Despite showing clear availability and offering to pay for an upgrade, my request as a loyal member was repeatedly delayed and ultimately ignored. Room amenities and the welcome experience lacked the thoughtful touches we received during previous stays. Many staff appeared tired or stretched too thin—this affects the overall guest experience. It seems the resort is delaying needed renovations to maximize returns for another year or two. In summary, the place is still beautiful and you’ll likely have a wonderful time—but at this price point, there are now better-maintained and better-serviced options elsewhere.

We had an incredible stay at Hilton Amingiri Maldives. Our beach villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and just steps from the ocean — the perfect blend of comfort and privacy. Dinner at Origin was a highlight of our trip, with refined flavors and a romantic setting that truly elevated the dining experience. We also booked a treatment at the Amingiri Spa and left feeling completely relaxed — the setting, service, and attention to detail were exceptional. Every part of the resort feels thoughtfully crafted. Highly recommend!

Disappointing Experience – Did Not Meet Maldives Standards This was my fifth visit to the Maldives, and unfortunately, it was the most disappointing one so far. I had high expectations, but the overall experience fell short on several levels: 1. Lack of Warm Hospitality: Upon arrival, I had requested early check-in (fully understanding it’s subject to availability). However, the way the staff member communicated the unavailability was dismissive and lacked the courtesy you’d expect from a luxury resort. 2. Snorkeling Letdown: One of the key reasons for choosing this resort was snorkeling, but there were barely any fish in any of the areas we explored around the property. It was very underwhelming and not what you’d expect from a Maldives experience. 3. Poor Service: We requested coffee twice—once it never arrived, and the other time it came cold. For a resort that emphasizes service, this was disappointing. 4. Room Issues: On the second night, the air conditioning in our room started making loud noises, disrupting our sleep. 5. Late Checkout Experience – Extremely Poor: We requested just one extra hour for late checkout—not even necessarily in the same villa—but were told “impossible” without any flexibility. This forced us to cancel all our plans on the last day, including our photoshoot, which was a key part of our trip. Our butler failed to relay our request to the reception, and when we spoke to the manager directly, the response was generic and lacked genuine concern. It was frustrating and upsetting. Overall, I did not feel the warmth, flexibility, or hospitality that I’ve come to associate with the Maldives. This resort, unfortunately, did not live up to the standards or experiences I’ve had at other Maldivian properties. I would not recommend it, especially to those who have experienced better resorts in the region

With my kids, we stayed 5 nights and six days. Every single day, we enjoyed fully beautiful Maldives thanks to Hilton Resort. Hilton has lovely over water suit villa, which made us so happy. And every staff including oir Gem, Asim, at Hilton was so professional, sweet, and kind. From the arrival from the aiplane to the airport for depature, Hilton was very supportive and arranged already everything for us. If we come to Maldives again, I will definitely visit Hilton Amingiri again. Thanks.
