This hotel is probably the best hotel ever ! You can't go wrong. Location, food, staff. Exec lounge is very nice here. Pool , gym, rooms, everything. Stayed here a few times now and it gets better every time with the work they are constantly doing to update and improve. Simply amazing. You won't regret it !

Excellent hotel right on the beach front. Hotel rooms were nice, a good gym, great pool area and really nice lobby area to relax and enjoy a coffee. The staff were excellent and we were upgraded to a higher floor by "Nine" when we checked in. She was great as we're all the staff. Plenty of restaurants and bars right out the front door including Walking street. A 10 min walk is the major shopping mall and supermarkets. Our only disappointment was breakfast. It wasn't amazing like the usual 5 star hotel.. No fresh juices, good quality hams and meat selection.. There was plenty there including a full Asian section.. Just nothing that was inspiring.. But we still had a great experience.

This is a really nice hotel, it feels very modern and it has been very well refurbished. Everything about this hotel feels new and fresh which makes it a very ideal choice as the building was well constructed during the 80s or 90s. I liked my room. The bed was very comfortable. In fact it’s probably the best bed I’ve slept in iThailand. I was told I was getting a free upgrade however the room turned out to be exactly the same room that I paid for, I really wish hotels wouldn’t do this as it raises expectations of having something grand when it’s actually something I paid for. There isn’t really any five star treatment here, the staff are very nice but it’s not a club class or a executive place to stay. The swimming pools are very nice but little bit dated. It probably has the best patch of sand outside of a hotel in HH. Food was reasonable. It was very kid friendly

JC MONTE CARLO

I never really liked it but I gave it another try right now and was pleasantly surprised. They renovated the lobby and some guest rooms although the old mistakes kind of persevere. The old and dusty executive lounge on the ground floor was moved to the mezzanine floor. Not really a highlight as your view goes out to the pool area just in case you sit directly on the mezzanine window. Why didn’t you use the still empty and pretty dull restaurant on the top floor? That would have been phenomenal… but no. The terrace up there is either empty or full of compulsive smokers (yikes) on the weekends . Not really a place to hang out. And who in god’s name has a Happy Hour from 4-5 pm ? A beer at 8$ ? A watery gin tonic at 15 $ . Get back to reality. The room was okay, nothing special though. Security staff and waiters really an asset to the place, reception staff moved like snails. My goodness. An advice: avoid the weekends, it’s full of parvenus from the surrounding villages and Bangkok, believe me you don’t want to blend in !

Booked the oceanfront suit, the room was majestic and impressive, the service was great but somehow couldn’t get over the food hygiene. There were FLIES AND MOSQUITOES both in the lounge and morning buffet room. My appetite went down to ZERO. Though there were plenty of food to choose from and very good ambience I still feel gross and disgusted to my bones. Could have done better.
