Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe with our family during Christmas week. The property itself was well maintained, the staff were so friendly. We need to mention that our remarks are based on the Enclave level of our room booking. Our ocean view rooms and views were great. The food was very good, many choices at the buffet and plentiful. The entertainment was especially good, two nights, a Neon/musical show and a Fire show. Enclave members are allowed to book reservations at the specialty restaurants, although that still requires that someone from your party joins a soon to be long line at 8:00 am to speak with a concierge person at 9:00 am. They could improve on their reservation process easily by allowing for online booking. You could only reserve for 2 nights, then repeat the process for 2 more nights. We ate at the buffet the first two nights and at the Italian, Hibachi Japanese and Steak restaurants the other three. They were all very good. Enclave level booking also allows use of a special lounge with a bar for drinks, specialty coffee, a continental breakfast and snacks throughout the day. The entire main open area, four stories above the beach, is filled with lovely swimming pools including a children's area. This area also houses the main buffet, a grille, the Sky Bar and a Mexican restaurant. There is also a special area on the beach that is reserved for Enclave members. In addition, there is a Sky Bar for Enclave members that has whirlpool pools during the day. In the evening, it is open to all guests for entertainment. The beach is the width of the hotel but not very wide to the water due to erosion, but still plenty of room for two rows of beach chairs. The color and clarity of the water was spectacular, although the waves were rough. We have visited many Mexican resorts over the past 40 years and we would rank this one as our favorite on several levels. It is close to the Cancun airport, unlike the hotels near Playa Del Carmen or the Maya Riviera that require a 1-2 hour drive. Since this resort is all-inclusive, there is little need to leave the premises, although we did take a wonderful Cenote tour one day, hosted by Tours by Locals. We would definitely return to this resort.

My fiancée and I stayed at Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe last month and had an amazing experience, largely because of the incredible staff. Joanne and Reyes were absolute standouts — truly above and beyond. Pedro and Lou were also exceptional, and Leon (a supervisor we interacted with) was very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. One moment that really impressed us: my fiancée was craving tuna ceviche when we arrived, but the menu only listed whitefish and shrimp. We mentioned it to Joanne and Reyes, and they went out of their way to make it happen. What they delivered was some of the best tuna ceviche we’ve ever had — unbelievably fresh and delicious. Joanne and Reyes made us feel genuinely special and taken care of, not just like another reservation. Hilton is lucky to have team members like them, and we hope their leadership knows what a difference they make. We’ll absolutely be back.

My family and I stayed here for a week and we had a blast! We stayed in an ocean-front room and the view was stunning. We also were enclave, and that was wonderful as well. The rooftop pool for enclave guests was phenomenal! Not only was the view there amazing, but the staff up there were top-tier! We constantly had people checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed laying out by the many pools each day and we were very well taken care of by all of the staff, but more specifically Leo and J.C. They were FANTASTIC! So friendly and accommodating. Super great people. We spent a day on the beach and it was so clean and the water was so blue. We also enjoyed all of the events during the day as well as the ones at night. The entire entertainment team was amazing and created such a fun environment for all ages. Oscar and Santos specifically were so much fun. They really brought the energy! During the Havana Night, Oscar taught me how to do various different Latin style dances (which is something I’ve always wanted to do) and truly made this trip an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend staying here!

Erick, Robin and Isai became wonderful friends here during our visit. Ramses had the BEST dance moves, like, we loved Erick, but Ramses gave him a run for our money. 😂Overall , wonderful people. think I'll miss them the most when we go home. Their hospitality and attention to detail is unmatched. Have Erick make you his Mezcal old fashioned, and the espresso martini. You're welcome. This all-inclusive has been absolutely fabulous. We are so excited to come back!

Just got back from Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe and had such a good time. I was living on the mezcalitas, mojitos, and cheladas, all so good. The breakfast buffet was huge and had lots of everything, and the staff was super friendly and just really kind all around. The beach was clean and we totally lucked out with zero sargassum. And a fun surprise for the week was having the guest fitness instructor, Saloney. Her morning dance fitness classes by the pool were such a blast: high energy, good music, good vibes. It was the perfect way to start the day and even made a few friends in class. All in all, just a really great stay. Will be back
