We had a relaxing and very enjoyable holiday in the fantastic Higueron Resort. From arriving there the staff were pleasant, professional and very attentive. The hotel facilities were excellent…we particularly enjoyed some delicious meals on the terrace of The Med Restaurant, listening to background music. A special shout out to Robert, our waiter, for his outgoing personality and his natural ability to engage with the guests.Thanks also to Guti and his team for such great service. The hotel offered an extensive choice for breakfast and all areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard. The Beach Club was very impressive and the free shuttle made it easily accessible. The comfortable Balinese sun beds, waiter service at the beach and the enjoyment of swimming in The Mediterranean Sea helped create fun-filled days…and many happy memories. This is a fantastic hotel where attention to detail, from decor to comfort, offers the perfect retreat steeped in luxurious tranquility. Thank you so much.

We stayed at this resort in Málaga for my partners 40th birthday, and from the moment we walked in until the day we checked out, the experience was nothing short of excellent. The hotel itself is stunning, the restaurants offer delicious food, and the atmosphere throughout is both welcoming and relaxing. The standout, however, was the level of customer service. Every member of staff was polite and professional, but I want to give special recognition to Paula, who we first met at check-in. From that very first interaction, she made us feel valued and at ease. She was always approachable, happy to answer any questions, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. Paula truly is an asset to the company—her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for guests set a shining example of what great customer service should look like. She played a big part in making our stay so memorable, and it’s clear the hotel is very lucky to have her on their team.

I stayed at this hotel this week, and it was truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. Everything was perfect, the staff was very polite, calm, and friendly. The breakfast was good, the atmosphere was lovely, and the place was super clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the hotel had a really chic and luxurious vibe. Overall, I had a fantastic experience.

The complex is huge and location is great. Rooms: nice sea view, beds are comfortable. However, toilets and bathroom are not separated from the room. They are done in 2 see through cubes which we didn’t like. Breaks fast is amazing, lots of choices and good. But it is noisy and service equals a 3 max 4 stars hotel. The Pool area (included in the room €) is really nice with sun beds, fountains, trees. But seems that there is a lot of conventions with people who think that the booked the whole hotel… not respectful of tourists who are here to relax and who paid full price …. There is another pool on the rooftop (the nice one presented in the website) but this one is not included in the price and you have to pay if you want a sun bed (200€!!!). The beach: the hotel has a beach club where we really don’t recommend to go. You have to pay everything and sometimes twice. The service is not great… the beach is not the best of the area. There is a little train/car driving you from the hotel to the beach. But in our case, we took it in the morning. And when we wanted to go back to the hotel, the train had a problem and they didn’t offer any solution. We had to find a taxi which was not an easy one… so really bad experience. The massage and beauty center are great, a bit expensive for Spain, but it’s worth going and enjoying treatments. And ladies are really nice there, especially at Anabel Postigo center (hairdresser and manicure) The spa looked ok. The entrance is not included in the price of your room, and you have to pay additionally 45€ for each entrance. There are parking slots outside of the hotel where you can park for free, not always easy to find a spot but it’s okay. Globally, this hotel does not deserve the 5 stars. We were in another hotel by Hilton last year which was a real 5 stars. So when you compare, this one is max 4.

The hotel is visually stunning. It is modern, elegant, and filled with beautiful art throughout. You can tell a lot of thought went into making it feel special, and the rooms are stylish and comfortable. That said, there were several disappointments: Most disappointing was the infinity pool, heavily promoted across the website and booking platforms, but only accessible for an extra 200 euros per use—a fact only revealed at check-in. This is not just misleading, it is FALSE ADVERTISING, and arguably illegal. Guests should not be lured in with features they cannot access without hidden charges. The room design also lacks practicality. The toilet and shower are completely transparent, offering no privacy. Just because you are traveling with someone does not mean you want that level of exposure. In our room (406) the toilet door did not close properly, the shower leaked into the room, and the air conditioning was not working properly. On top of that, the television was very small and noticeably outdated, which felt inconsistent with the hotel’s otherwise modern design. We were also surprised to find miniature single-use toiletries in the bathroom, which feels out of step with today’s sustainability expectations. On the positive side, we enjoyed meals at two of the hotel’s restaurants and found the overall service to be very good. With more honesty about what is included and some practical updates to the rooms, this could be an exceptional place to stay.
