A fabulous hotel! Clean, calm, superb gym and pools, first class restaurants, and every member of staff is polite and professional. I went with my 17yo daughter and it was perfect for our needs, and I can imagine couples or families with younger children also appreciating it. I really couldn’t fault it and hope to visit again (something I never usually do because I like new experiences but I might make this hotel an exception!)

We checked in very late and were treated extremely well by the night staff. The rooms were beautiful, and pretty much everything was excellent. Huge gym and fitness club, three pools outside (rooftop only for adults), wonderful breakfast, and great staff everywhere. Will definitely stay again to try the beach club!

I loved everything about this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautiful outdoor pools with a stunning views. Restaurants offer high quality dining options during the day. Breakfast also was excellent and good varied. The hotel team impressed the most, they has always been friendly, patient and helpful. Many thanks for all Front Office and MED restaurant team. Definitely will go back!

The hotel itself was good, but there were certainly come issues.
These were primarily regrading the restaurants - we visited the restaurant which serves breakfast on ‘Level S’/‘Level -1’ on our first day and the service was so slow! We were there for over 2.5 hours just to have dinner and it took an unbelievable amount of time for everything to arrive.
We then tried the ‘Beach Club’ which the shuttle (which side note, is always delayed) eventually took us to, and it was also shocking - they served us the wrong starter and completely forgot about my main. We complained about the starter issue and they either responded with ‘do you want one more?’ Or ‘we don’t understand due to the language barrier’. We then complained at the end about the main meal order being completely forgotten about and they gave zero acknowledgment. All they asked for was the payment…
Additionally, as prefaced in the previous paragraph, the shuttles were shocking; the timetable was terribly confusing and the shuttles themselves were always, always delayed - we sat and had discussions with fellow guests whilst we were eternally waiting for the shuttle to arrive.
So, all in all, the hotel itself, the rooms, and the hotel staff are more than okay, and so is the room cleaning service, but the affiliated restaurants (besides ‘Higuerito’, the breakfast bar who Oscar, a very pleasant chap works in) and the shuttle were far from recommendable.

We had a great stay at Higueron Hotel. The design of the hotel is nice, all the furniture and design in common areas is well designed and feels luxurious. All our meals on site were great, breakfast was a highlight. Be aware of you're there on a Monday or Tuesday that some of the options are closed on those days. The shuttle to the train station was great, although I wish there was a later shuttle.
The rooms were the low point of the stay. While the views are amazing and the rooms adequately sized, the layout, however, is really terrible. The sink is behind the bed, only inches away, so if you turn on the sink while your partner is in bed, they may think they're going to get wet. The shower is in the middle of the room, and while that may be fine for a romantic stay, the option of privacy is important. The shower is also right next to the bed and the towel hooks are 3m away from the shower, so unless you're going to go halfway across the room to get a towel, the best place to keep a towel is on the bed.
