It started with we arrived 6AM and they said we need to fill in a sheet and come back in an hour, an hour later they ask us to come back in 2 hours in 2 hours they ask us to come back at 1pm. Around 11:30 the receptionist called me to the reception, he said there is a room, but we paid for the standard room and thats not great and he would recommend to upgrade for 100 euros which is a discounted price. We checked both rooms they were more or less the same but the 'standard' room was a lot more run down, cracks here and there musty smell, fridge was not working, so we decided to upgrade. The food: The breakfast every day was the same fruits only apples, grapes and frozen kiwi. Lunch tastless, oily and really poor quality mixed sea food or unknown meat with of chips, rice or plain pasta. The leftover from the lunch then turned back on the dinner just in diferent look. After 3 days we went to eat out. Deserts was sugary and half frozen baklava served. The beach bar was okay, but the drinks were the cheapest possible. In contrast the staff was nice. the restaurant and pool area was small compared to how many rooms they have, there was a lot of queuing. The hotel was very old, in need of refurbishment.

Where do I start. When we arrived we was asked if we would like to upgrade our room and we said yes after reading all of the reviews online and it’s a good job we did. The food was something I wouldn’t feed my dog, chicken was pink, nothing had flavour, and the drinks. The drinks were absolutely shocking. We ended up eating out every night although we booked all inclusive. How this hotel got 4 stars in any country baffles me. In the corridor at night you genuinely cannot sleep due to all the noise and the staff don’t really care. The sunbeds , good luck getting one that’s all I can say. The only good thing about the hotel is the sun. Below is some of the hazards that you need to be aware of, one of the main entrances there is just a loose hose pipe on the ground. The grids by the pool are damaged. Balcony well I think there are better views in a prison cell Just avoid this hotel at all costs

Really bad experiences. We book a all inclusive holiday and this is how looks our room. This hotel is 2* not 4* and noisy as well. Door doesn't shut properly, you have to bang to close the door. The curtains on balcony doesn't lift up properly so you have to band to go for a cigarette on balcony. The mattress on our bed is bad, i have back pain after a night sleep 👎

So I was dreading going to this hotel after all the bad reviews I had been reading. I did book there best rooms you could book. We had a late flight in and out, arrived after 12am man on the front desk was surper welcoming and polite no messing around straight to our rooms and said we could just give our paperwork tomorrow as it was late. First day like every hotel the best spots and best sunbeds where taken by 8am but they're is plenty of sunbeds. There is a security gaurd who works of a night and stops people putting towels down before 7am. Breakfast lunch and dinner was fine for what you pay not the best but food was hot and staff polite again. We had to queue once for lunch but that was coz we decided to go later and not when it first started. About 2-3pm all the youngsters aka 18-25 year old come out from the night before and when I say they are loud and disgusting spitting in the pool leaving there rubbish around the pool towels being thrown in the pool just a total disregard and disrespect for the hotel and others trying to enjoy there holiday. Late night bangs on door shouting and arguments around 3am to 5am so definitely not great if u want a good night sleep or have young children. If you do not book the better rooms you are in a different building across the road it has a kids pool there but thats all I see you still have to come over to the hotel to eat and get drinks. Myself and my family would exit the pool at this time and do other things to avoid this. The hotel overall wasn't as bad as I thought. Heronissos itself is very party vibe and I personally wouldnt return to this area China is more family friendly and not so much a young ibiza vibe. On our last day we also had a late flight and the hotel itself dosent have a shower room or anything for you to freshen up. But they do offer a room for 2 hours for you to shower and get ready for your journey home, I thought this was a great thing and was very greatful the room was like the updated room we had. Overall not a bad experience but wouldnt return due to just not the right area for us.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing like what was advertised online — the rooms looked completely different from the website photos. The service was terrible overall, apart from one friendly bar staff member who was the only person that seemed to care. The receptionist was rude and clearly lacked any customer service skills. Room service never cleaned our room during the entire stay — the bed was never changed, and we kept waking up with bites all over us. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower was so small it could barely fit a child, and there was a drain in the floor where flies kept coming out. The toilet kept running all night until my friend fixed it herself. We also had a constant sewage smell both in the room and throughout the building. We were given “clean” towels, but they were clearly dirty. On top of that, one of the staff even walked into our room unannounced — and brought other people with him, which was completely unacceptable. The buffet was just as bad — very limited food, barely enough seating, and no atmosphere at all. We had to queue up for the buffet as well, so if you are travelling with a big group you are better off not eating because it would definitely be a problem. As they will definitely make a problem out of it as well. We were also harassed by the security guard. Who continuously asked us to move from the communal area where we were sitting and playing games quietly. Then proceeded to follow us when we were walking around the pool to get to the main building. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Poor hygiene, terrible customer service, and nothing like what they advertise. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.
