Rooms, services, and location—everything about this hotel was truly excellent. We stayed for two nights on a half-board basis and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of options and was very satisfying, but our absolute favorite part of the stay was the set-menu dinner. Although the menu was not extensive, every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. If we were to stay again, we would probably choose a room-only option and take advantage of their set lunch and dinner menus separately, because they were truly impressive. We tried the set lunch as well and were especially amazed by the quality. There was a great selection of drinks, a fantastic variety of seafood, and plenty of delicious choices to suit different tastes. The dessert in particular was unforgettable—definitely a highlight of our dining experience. Beyond the food, what really made our stay special was the team. The staff at the restaurant, front office, and across all service areas were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay and made us feel well taken care of. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily recommend this hotel.

We celebrated our Anniversary at Heritance Negombo, and it was such a beautiful experience. Everything was very well organized, the food was really good, and every single staff member who attended to us was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself along with the surroundings is absolutely stunning. It’s calm, peaceful, and so relaxing. Honestly, I would love to wake up to that view every single day. In terms of the booking process, we did face a few concerns. Unfortunately, the communication from top management was not very helpful and came across as quite rude, which was disappointing. However, the spontaneous response and solutions provided by the newer staff, possibly tour assistants and executive-level staff who were directly contactable were truly commendable. They were proactive, courteous, and did their best to resolve the issues promptly. We also noticed a lack of coordination between the sales and reservations teams and the hotel itself, which created some confusion due to unclear internal communication. Improving this coordination would definitely make the overall experience even better.

This was our first hotel when we arrived in Sri Lanka, and it was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights. The hotel is very clean and room service is really fast. The staff are super friendly and not too pushy. The food is incredible — Chef Nishantha is great, and Maduwanthi was really helpful in the dining area. The only drawback is that the hotel isn’t actually on the beach; there is a gate from the hotel leading to the beach. The location is good, around 20 minutes from the airport, and there are plenty of things to do nearby. A couple of days here should be plenty. The locals are also really friendly and will help you get around.

Had lunch at their a-la-carte restaurant. The service and quality was way better than most hotels in Colombo. The food was great! No complaints at all. If you are staying overnight at the property I think the location is superb! Plenty of eateries right Infront and around the vicinity

We stayed at Heritance Negombo for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were consistently friendly and professional, with special thanks to Samantha and Silvester at Bluetan, the hotel restaurant. The buffet breakfast and dinner were exceptional — great quality, diverse options, and absolutely not to be missed. Our room was spotless, spacious, and offered a beautiful view of the sea. The gym was well-equipped for a solid workout and comfortably air-conditioned. The room’s air-conditioning was also excellent, easily adjustable and quick to cool the large space. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly return.
