Just a wonderful 5* hotel. Sentido was the first hotel of our 16 day private tour with Nalin from Coastline Lanka Travel at the beginning of December 2025. Everything was fantastic in fact it was that good we changed our plans and spent our last 2 days there as well as our first 2. The welcoming porters especially Anura were just delightful,so friendly,attentive and helpful,nothing was too much trouble and always with a big smile. The rooms are very spacious and clean with amazing views of the Indian Ocean just outside your doors. Nalin our guide and driver had requested an accessible room for me as I have mobility issues,this was organised by the reception team with absolutely no problem whatsoever. The food was incredible with such a huge selection of freshly cooked dishes. Breakfast,lunch and dinner were full of so many delicious choices for all tastes,compliments must go to the chefs. Priyantha the restaurant manager remembered us from our first visit,as soon as we walked into the restaurant he came over and welcomed us with a handshake and a big smile,again nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything,all the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool was huge and warm. We are already planning our next visit to the beautiful island of Sri Lanka and without any doubt The Sentido Hotel will be our first stop. Rooms, services, and location—everything about this hotel was truly excellent. We stayed for two nights on a half-board basis and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of options and was very satisfying, but our absolute favorite part of the stay was the set-menu dinner. Although the menu was not extensive, every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. If we were to stay again, we would probably choose a room-only option and take advantage of their set lunch and dinner menus separately, because they were truly impressive. We tried the set lunch as well and were especially amazed by the quality. There was a great selection of drinks, a fantastic variety of seafood, and plenty of delicious choices to suit different tastes. The dessert in particular was unforgettable—definitely a highlight of our dining experience. Beyond the food, what really made our stay special was the team. The staff at the restaurant, front office, and across all service areas were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay and made us feel well taken care of. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Sentido Negombo for 2 nights for our honeymoon, and it was such a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and never felt bossy or awkward which really made us feel relaxed from the start. Special thanks to Madhuwanthi, Sadun, and Chamath who helped us in so many ways and made our stay extra comfortable. Our first dinner was a romantic outdoor setup, which was beautifully done and perfect for a honeymoon. The next day we tried the spa, and the therapists were very professional (from Bali), and it was super relaxing. We also enjoyed spending time around the pool area and sea lounge. By coincidence, we even got the chance to attend the “Iguana Cantinia” grand opening, which was a great bonus experience. The food was good overall, and the atmosphere was calm and enjoyable. Overall, Sentido Negombo is a great place to spend a couple of days, especially for couples or a short getaway. Highly recommended

Shan and the rest of the staff here are great! Very attentive and helpful. Hotel and rooms were very clean and the sea views are amazing! We only stayed one night but the breakfast here is great too! Would recommend to anyone. Thank you!

The Heritance Negombo We spent a lovely five nights at this very well appointed and well staffed hotel. It was a perfect last stop to unwind by the pool after a twelve day excursion around Sri Lanka. The welcome from the team at reception was very warm and friendly and despite being incredibly busy preparing for the New Year Buffet and associated celebrations, they took great care of us, making sure we were comfortable and happy with our room. Our room, 229, was perfect, with glorious views over the pool, gardens and beach beyond. We couldn’t have been happier. The very kind, efficient and always welcoming, Maduwanthi in the dining room along with the lovely Achini and their colleagues made every meal a pleasurable experience. Thank you must go to the excellent chefs and team in the kitchen, who did an outstanding job in efficiently and expertly catering for all the visitors staying in the hotel over what must be one of the busiest times of the year. The beach front is an easy walk from the pool and makes for a pleasant stroll, one we enjoyed on a number of occasions during our stay. The pool and the pool bar staff, kept us hydrated and fed during the days we chose to just enjoy our time at the hotel. We were so fortunate to meet and be cared for by the excellent team who work within the hotel. The ever smiling doorman Anuva always made us feel that we were coming home! To the wonderful Supun, who provided such excellent advice, on how we might best enjoy our time in Negombo during our stay, thank you! Your kindness was so appreciated. As we have discovered the kindness of all we have met at the hotel is very much a part of the Sri Lankan hospitality we encountered throughout our travels. The hotel is so fortunate to have such wonderful ambassadors in their employ. We are sadly leaving tomorrow but will have very fond memories of the staff we met during our stay and look forward to a return visit in the future.
