We stayed one night at Heritance Ahungalla and booked 4 rooms. Overall, it was a really good stay. The hotel has a beautiful design, direct beach access, and a very nice view. The pool area is great, and we really enjoyed relaxing there. We also tried some cocktails at the pool bar — they were very good. Customer service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Food was a mix. Some dishes were good, but the room service fish and chips and baguette sandwich were disappointing. Honestly, it was the worst fish and chips I’ve tried. They didn’t even provide lemon, which would have made it better. Apart from the food issue, everything else was really nice. Great atmosphere, good service, nice pool, and beautiful beach access.

This place is great, right on the beach in Negombo and so close to all the bars and restaurants in the town. Service is fabulous, we’d particularly like to mention Prabath, Ravin, Imalka and Suresh in the bar. Prabath makes the BEST pina coladas we’ve ever had. He used fresh pineapple and coconut and liquidised them so it was smoothie consistency and SO good. Breakfast was lovely, really varied with global options. We loved the Sri Lankan options and the omelette stand. The staff were fabulous, especially Davin and Kaveesha. The rooms are lovely, with a huge, comfy bed and the bathroom is clean and very well stocked. We used room service, Aryan was so friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend you staying here if you’re visiting Sri Lanka.

Just a wonderful 5* hotel. Sentido was the first hotel of our 16 day private tour with Nalin from Coastline Lanka Travel at the beginning of December 2025. Everything was fantastic in fact it was that good we changed our plans and spent our last 2 days there as well as our first 2. The welcoming porters especially Anura were just delightful,so friendly,attentive and helpful,nothing was too much trouble and always with a big smile. The rooms are very spacious and clean with amazing views of the Indian Ocean just outside your doors. Nalin our guide and driver had requested an accessible room for me as I have mobility issues,this was organised by the reception team with absolutely no problem whatsoever. The food was incredible with such a huge selection of freshly cooked dishes. Breakfast,lunch and dinner were full of so many delicious choices for all tastes,compliments must go to the chefs. Priyantha the restaurant manager remembered us from our first visit,as soon as we walked into the restaurant he came over and welcomed us with a handshake and a big smile,again nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything,all the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool was huge and warm. We are already planning our next visit to the beautiful island of Sri Lanka and without any doubt The Sentido Hotel will be our first stop. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay & Outstanding Service – Highly Recommended! We had a wonderful stay at Sentido Heritance Hotel, Negombo. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the food was delicious with a great variety. The beachfront location and relaxing atmosphere made our stay truly enjoyable. A special thanks to Miss Rashmi, who helped us throughout our stay. She was extremely friendly, kind, and professional, always ready to assist us with a warm smile. Her support and hospitality made our experience even more memorable. We truly appreciate the excellent service and warm welcome. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Negombo. We would definitely love to visit again!

Wow wow wow We have been to a few events here. We came to the Beer Festival but this event was our absolute favorite. Me and my husband came for their valentines dinner and we were blown away. The food was insanely good and so beautifully presented. The area on the garden was beautifully presented and we are just so thankful for all the teams hard work. We had the best time and honestly we were Gobsmacked. Thank you for such an amazing event. Thanks to Chathuranger the manager and his team for such a wonderful night. Well done this was a huge success, definitely worth more than 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
