Heritance Kandalama offers an exceptional experience surrounded by nature and stunning views, making it a beautiful getaway. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, which seems to be a hallmark of this place. They go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and attended to at every moment. The location itself is breathtaking, with lush surroundings and views that seem to blend the architecture seamlessly into the natural landscape. The boat ride offered by the hotel is an absolute must-do, providing a unique perspective on the area and a peaceful escape. The food at the Main Restaurant was another highlight. Every meal was delicious, with an impressive variety and a great balance of local and international dishes. It truly added to the luxury experience, and it’s clear the culinary team puts a lot of effort into their craft. On the downside, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. There was a 35-minute delay in the check-in process, which was a bit frustrating after a long journey. Additionally, the TV positioning in the 317 Suite room felt awkward, making it difficult to watch from the bed comfortably. Overall, Heritance Kandalama is a fantastic destination with a few minor setbacks, but the beautiful setting, friendly staff, excellent food, and relaxing boat ride more than make up for it.

Our stay at Heritance Kandalama was perfect and amazing! The staff- everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay at the hotel was special and memorable. Our daughter Kate enjoyed the experience along with her birthday celebration at the hotel. The food was exceptional with a great variety of options to choose from. Kandalama was, one of the best hotels we have stayed so far. I would highly recommend this amazing hotel to anybody who is looking for a remarkable holiday! Thank you Heritance Kandalama!!!

Stayed in October,2024. Dinner was not that good though there were many options. Breakfast was really good compared to the dinner. In my online booking I specifically requested for a room at the 5th floor and twin beds for the second room I have booked. Neither was accommodated by the hotel. Quite a disappointment!!!! Room service was very helpful on the checking in date but the next day. Requested extra water bottles on the next day as the tap water was not drinkable but we received none. The view from the hotel was spectacular. I highly recommend to walk down to the lake shore next to the hotel. One can experience the beauty of the lake to the best there. The overall stay in the hotel is very much positive with some jungle vibes.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious foods and loved the convenient location close to major attractions. We had a lovely review with natural environment. It’s so much peaceful and marvelous. Would definitely return to this hotel.

The perfect hotel. Location, amenities, staff - all were fantastic. I have strict dietary requirements (no gluten) and the staff were incredible, preparing an absolute feast for me, including some of the best gluten free deserts I have ever had. The facilities (including spa) are great, and I was lucky enough to spot an elephant from my balcony! It is a stunning hotel but it is the quality of the staff that make it truly first class. Kandalama is such an incredibly special place and I hope to return some day.
