We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Heritage Hotel! From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, with a stunning view. The dining options were top-notch, offering a wide variety of delicious meals. We especially enjoyed the serene atmosphere, the lush surroundings, and the impeccable service throughout the hotel. Truly a memorable experience — highly recommended for anyone looking for relaxation and luxury in one place. We would definitely love to come back again!

The staff are lovely, very attentive. The hotel is lovely, clean and in a great location. My only disappointment was the food, it was very bland and massively over priced for the quality we received. One night at the Asian restaurant our food was served cold, the staff were lovely about it and tried to rectify but it had already taken a long time and to be honest we were done with the food in this hotel at this time. The Le Chateau however was stunning food, 10/10 service and a lovely venue - I wish we book to eat here every night.

The staff are very welcoming, the property is huge and is well equipped. Facilities like kids club, baby care club, water activities, kite surfing etc. added bonus points. We left our 5 month old infant at the baby care for 3 days and we were able to enjoy the water activities being stress free and even have breakfast peacefully knowing the baby was being taken care of. The rooms are big and have everything that you need including milk and honey provided to you as a part of the coffee table/ needs. The restaurants give you a variety of cuisines and are all amazing. The pools are huge, the beach is right in front, the river flows through the property and all in all it's a beautiful property to stay at. I already miss being there!

Absolutely lovely place. Staff were outstanding during the stay and there is a good selection of restaurants to choose from onsite. Loads of activities that are available as part of the Gourmet Bliss package and the golf courses are very well maintained. Greens were in outstanding condition, even in winter. Would definitely recommend to couples, especially if one is a golfer and the other prefers the wellness/spa side of things

Hotel Heritage Le Telfair is undeniably beautiful, elegant, and ideally located right next to the beach. The staff are polite and humble, which we appreciated — but unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing, especially considering this is a 5-star property. One of the biggest issues is the lack of nearby restaurants. If you don’t manage to book dinner in one of the hotel’s restaurants (which are often fully booked), you’re left with no alternative dining options. It becomes extremely difficult to find dinner, especially in the evenings. Taxis from the hotel are also outrageously expensive — easily more costly than in any other country we’ve visited. This makes transportation a major issue for anyone wanting to explore the island or even go out for a meal. Another ongoing frustration was the so-called “free services” offered by the hotel. In reality, most of them are not available when requested, which leaves guests feeling misled. Most disappointing of all was the breakfast. Despite being a 5-star hotel, the breakfast quality was more like what you’d expect from a 2- or 3-star property. The variety was very limited, the fruits were not fresh or sweet (especially the pineapple, which was bitter and unpleasant), many hot items were undercooked, and the bread quality was poor. Simple options like chapati or roti weren’t even available. For a luxury hotel, this was far below expectations. In summary, while the setting and staff are lovely, the overall experience does not justify the 5-star rating or the high prices. There are many other hotels in Mauritius that offer better food, better value, more convenient locations, and more reliable services. I would not recommend this hotel.
