Jackie Le Roux
A very disappointing stay at Heritage Le Telfair. Colonial feel of the resort is beautiful and adult pool was very peaceful and tranquil. Service however was very dissapointing. Definitely not the service expected from a supposed 5 star resort. Staff are not friendly and many did not even understand English which is shocking for a tourist destination. On more than one occasion I had to get up and get my own knife and fork at breakfast as no waiters were available. Ordered a drink at the adult pool and over an hour later saw the waiter I ordered from wandering aimlessly around and my drink was nowhere to be found. Service in Annabella restaurant was very slow and we overheard a number of other guests complaining about the general service at Telfair. Rooms need to be upgraded as they look a bit outdated and housekeeping was very inefficient. Had to complain a number of times to our butler who eventually complained to management. So even staff members were complaining about their fellow staff members. The bed in my sons room collapsed and had to be replaced with a whole new bed. A real pity because the resort has a lot of potential and I had a lovely experience at the spa. But sadly I will not be back to this resort as you definitely do not get what you pay for!

I love the blend of luxury and serenity that the hotel offers. The service was impeccable, room spacious and elegant offering comfort with amazing view on the ocean. The stay there provides a nice escape into tranquility as the hotel is nestled amidst lush vegetation.

The service was slow, with staff taking a long time to serve drinks. Towels were not provided at noon after swimming, which was inconvenient. Some staff members were rude. On a positive note, the dessert was enjoyable, though the lunch options were limited. The location, however, was excellent.

Everything about this resort is amazing. On the upside, great location, beautiful rooms with varying views, choice of food and drinks across a vast estate. Nice and courteous staff, excellent child care, Brilliant concept of Butler service (special mention Melvin!).

Wonderful location with great facilities Restaurants are excellent With good variety Annabelle needs updating and breakfast service is erratic Palmier is a wonderful location with superb Evening menu, lunchtime odd in my view. Overall this hotel and location is hard to beat with golf facilities second to none. Management very receptive and keen to improve on it’s already high standards
