We arrived a day late because we missed our flight, but when we arrived the next day we were told we had been upgraded to the adults only sister hotel, we were told the room would be the same as we booked, but it wasn’t. We had a look at a few different rooms but they were not the same… we did eventually get the room we booked (junior suit with a swim up pool and sea view) not sure why we weren’t placed there from the start as the exact same room next door was empty. We did appreciate this but could have done without the hassle. The room was amazing and so was the view, a lot more private. The decor was very modern and chic, The room was well equipped with dressing gowns, slippers, shampoo, conditioner and a complimentary bag! We got room service which was incredible and the mini bar/room service was included in the all inclusive package, the staff were amazing and we can’t fault them, attentive at all times and very professional. The food in the adults only was great and was so relaxing and calm. The pool areas were clean but the water was a bit cold for the time of year we expected it but for a five star hotel you would think like it to be heated. The beach was lovely and beach bars also had amazing service. We ate at the steak restaurant and the food quality was impressive, service was outstanding, we loved it so much we went back the second night, the greek wine we had been recommended was exceptional can’t complain about any of that, top notch! Would have liked to of been able to book the a la carte restaurants on arrival. Big thank you to Elisavet, Georgia, Vener and Joann for being so lovely, it made our evenings so special and we will remember those evenings forever. We tried a lot of cocktails at the pool bar which was amazing because the staff came over and took your order for lovely bar snacks/lunch too. We would have liked the sauna, steam room and indoor pool to be included in the price as its five star. The gym was quiet and had a lot of new equipment with showers and towels included. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would recommend to anyone.

We had a great four night stay at Ella Helea and would likely return again in the future if revisiting the area! Upon checking in we had very kindly been upgraded from a deluxe in-land room to a suite with a pool view, we’ve never been upgraded anywhere before so this was a great experience that we are really thankful for. All staff we encountered were extremely friendly, especially in the main buffet restaurant and reception. We were even greeted daily by the cleaning and maintenance staff which was really nice. The only thing we would’ve liked to have been told sooner is what was included as part of the all-inclusive, as in other hotels we have stayed at they have had menus on site which state which drinks are included, but we didn’t realise this was instead on the app. As the Street Food Hub only has a menu displayed outside with prices, until we asked we didn’t know that this was part of the all inclusive package. The hotel as a whole was really clean, we didn’t see any mess or poorly looked after areas. It really does look as good as the photos online, with a very modern, ‘Instagram-able’, look. The room had great style and was really spacious and clean. The only issues we had with the room was the fact the noise from the hallway was rather loud, especially as we were opposite a lift and stairwell. When other people slam their doors and let their kids run down the hallway it sounds like they’re in the room with you. The only other issue we had was with the shower, the water was sometime boiling hot, even when turned to cold. The piece of glass that separates the shower from the rest of the room also isn’t long enough, which meant that water from the shower would creep round and slightly flood the rest of the bathroom, so we had to keep using towels to mop up. The buffet restaurant is ran extremely well, every staff member has a specific role each day and does it extremely well. The service is fast and efficient. Myself and my fiancé can be quite basic, beige eaters, and there was enough choice that we could have a few different bits every day. There is quite a lot of stew-based and salad items. But I’d say our experience of this is more to blame on our limited likes, rather than the fault of the hotel. We had lots of tasty food, and also really enjoyed our meal and time in the Italian à la carte. The pool towels was an issue for us, despite opening at 10am, on one day we had to wait until 11:30 for any towels to be available, which meant we couldn’t use the pool until we had one. Every day of our stay there was some kind of delay with the towels. Also, a lot of sunbeds are reserved with towels very early in the morning, at 9am there were few beds left in the front row around the pool, with many families keeping the same spot every day. The hotel is also very family friendly, as a couple with no children we weren’t quite expecting the amount of children that were there, especially it being early-May. This didn’t affect our visit, but is something to be mindful of if you wish to steer clear of children and buggies everywhere! And finally, during our stay it was my fiancé’s birthday. We didn’t make this known at reception, and I didn’t ask for any special treatment for him. But on the evening of his birthday whilst we were at dinner a beautiful cake was left for him! We were so amazed by this and would like to thank the team involved, it was a lovely touch! Overall we had a great stay, with a few small tweaks the hotel could improve but we definitely had a pleasant and relaxing time! Thank you Ella Helea!

We just returned from our 10 days stay at Helea hotel. Overall we had a great vacation but can’t give 5 stars. Despite a very friendly staff, it definitely misses some details in order to qualify for a 5* hotel, especially for the price we paid for. We started our stay on the wrong foot as we had booked a junior suite with sea view to realize that the “sea” was actually the roof of the building in front of ours. Luckily the hotel reacted fast and we got another room the day after. It also misses a few things for a high standard hotel such as: - housekeeping was usually done between 4pm and 5pm in our room. It’s too late. - we often had to ask for additional towels as the dirty ones would be removed but not replaced. - there is no hair conditioner or body lotion provided. - on our way from our room to the pool we had to walk next to the hot stinky air coming out of the kitchen. - buffet food is very repetitive, often rather cold and not very qualitative. - the pool side is very slippery, quite dangerous with children. Having said that, the good weather, nice staff and variety of activities offered allowed us to have a nice stay!

Amazing hotel right in front of the beach. Our room was a sea view. Food was good with great choice in the buffet but it was hard to book the other restaurants for the included experiences since they were often fully book several days in advance. This is great for families. Has great facilities for kids and entertainment all day and night. The staff is super friendly and kind and it does have a great selection of cocktails done with quality drinks that we enjoyed every evening ( included in the all inclusive experience) Its a 15 min drive to town if you want to check the city and the b each area is lovely. We will be coming back next season for sure.

We stayed 11 days at Helea Beach Lifestyle Resort and had such a great time! The resort is beautiful, very clean and has plenty of pools as well as a private beach. Everything feels stylish and relaxing. The all-inclusive food and drinks were really good! So much variety that we never got bored. Some days stood out more than others, but it was always tasty. The à la carte restaurants were also worth a visit, and we loved the free cocktails, especially inside at the bar. A special shout-out to Katarina from the restaurant. She welcomed us with a big smile every day and gave us wonderful tips about the island. She made our holiday feel extra special. We would definitely recommend this resort and can easily see ourselves coming back in the future!
