I wish I could rate higher because it is a lovely hotel however: 1. The staff are too overwhelmed, if you want to be served in decent time at breakfast or dinner in the main restaurant, forget about it! It’s too busy and the staff cannot serve everyone adequately. They are so friendly and kind, but simply there is not enough of them. 2. It is advertised as a health and wellness resort, however although aesthetically it may appear it does not have appropriate facilities. All in all it is a family hotel with a lot of children running around. Me and my partner have never been bothered about going to an adult only hotel together, but this place made us consider it. There is no where peaceful in the evening without kids running around, you are tripping over them in the restaurants. There is 1 inside hotel bar and it’s full of children running and throwing. It isn’t relaxing at all. But!!! The food is delicious, staff are lovely and the rooms are clean and nice. So I would say; It is not a 5* hotel, pay attention to the reviews if you don’t want to be disappointed but it is still a nice hotel, and with patience, you will still have a nice time.

Lovely Getaway with a family This hotel is excellent. The staff were very good, very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend and hope to go back. The atmosphere is so tranquil. The views from our room, restaurants and bars are beyond stunning. The food is delicious. Tsouka restaurant was our favorite. Deti and Stathis from Kids club. Snacks are tasty and easy to be approached (burgers, panini, crepes etc) Kids loved them Thank you Helea team!

Completely overstrained. The dedicated Crew tried its best. Every day we had to clean our breakfast table ourselves in Order to habe our breakfast. Even in the Special Restaurants the Food was Partly cold. Drinks had to be ordered each time. After the First Drink no one came to ask if we wanted another. The Organisation, Processes and obviously Management is completely overstrained: to many guests, too few staff. Does not deserve 5*. Stayed in 4* hotel which offered way better Service. Too expensive for what You Get.

Overall, it is a good hotel, which is very nicely furnished and also looks good. If you take a closer look, there were some visual defects here and there that should be repaired. The staff in the restaurants were super friendly, unfortunately the staff in the bars were not always friendly. In general, I found the selection of non-alcoholic drinks at the bar a bit boring and not good. The juice tasted terrible, very artificial. The room with swim up pool was nice, the sea view breathtaking but unfortunately the pool is very cold. We only went in once because the pool was far too cold. The a la carte restaurants are quite nice, we were allowed to go four times in 10 days. We were in two different restaurants. Two visits were very good, two rather disappointing. Not all dishes are well prepared. Overall, the all-inclusive concept is very cool, you can eat and get drinks at any time, which is great, especially with children. The hotel is very child-friendly, which is great. Unfortunately, the water playground for children was also very cold. But otherwise the activities for children were cool.

Had a fab week at Helena, first time to Greece. Beautiful resort with stunning trees and plants. Friendly warm staff. Normally head to the Canaries in October but as they are anti tourist now decided to try Rhodes. They don’t have a problem with tourists and welcome you with open arms. The rooms were a tad tight for 3 but it was too expensive to upgrade. The balcony sea view was stunning! The reservation of pool sun beds was a bit of an issue and we witnessed a few disputes so used the beach instead. The hotel was very busy at times and the staff were a bit stretched on occasion. The onsite water park was a big hit!! 15-20 minute taxi ride to old town so taxi fares can rack up. Old town is worth a visit!
