Hawksbill is an amazing low-key all-inclusive resort. The grounds are pristine, gorgeous views everywhere you look, and four stunning beaches. The layout of the resort is spread out so it never feels busy or crowded (However, I went the first week of July so it was low season). The food was good, with lots of choices at the buffets, but I would have liked more local infusion. Two options for dining in the main restaurant and beachfront grill. I rated rooms slightly lower as the beach front bungalows have not been updated. Perfectly acceptable, but not luxury. I wish there were hooks for hanging towels, bathing suits, robes, etc... Also, the only mirror is in the bathroom. Need full length mirrors in the bedroom area. Staff were wonderful, friendly, and service was great. No matter where I was, beach or pool, staff walk around and take drink orders and ask if anything is needed. It is truly an amazing place. I felt like I was at a nature preserve! Had a fabulous time!

Wow,wow,wow. The search is over. Listen. If your looking for 8 restaurants, 5 bars, and 400 rooms, this is not your place. If you are looking for the most amazing experience and service at a place with 4 amazing beaches an amazing pool and a property that leaves you feeling relaxed, recharged, and engaged in the outdoors then get here now. We have been to the big ones. We have been to the ultra luxury ones. We have done them all. But this one. This one I cannot wait to return to. By far the most amazing concept and property we have ever stayed and played at. Hawksbill, we cannot wait to return. You are the one. Thank you so much.

We booked this stay on the day we arrived due to a disaster at the Airbnb we planned on staying in.
Resort - 4 beautiful beaches to choose from! The main beach next to the beach bar was beautiful and had great snorkeling meters from the beach. Plenty of sun loungers and shades are available. Eden Beach is worth exploring as well, there are a few rocks to navigate but plenty of sandy spots in between you can swim in, the beach is huge and we were 2 of 5 people on the entire beach when we were there!
The pool area is great, with beautiful views, couldn't fault it!
The 'gym' is very basic, with a few tired machines and 2 dumbbells, disappointing for us as we like to exercise on our holiday.
Staff - lovely staff! we can't fault them at all, we were made to feel very welcome and the service was good. Remember you are in the Caribbean and everything happens a little slower and more relaxed than back home in the UK, embrace it and you'll have a wonderful time!
Overall we were very happy with our stay. The setting is beautiful and I don't believe the hotel would need to do a huge amount to bring the hotel up to a 4* standard, improve the food and smarten the beach bar/restaurant, and improve the aesthetics in the rooms and it would be there! Great value for money!

We had a FANTASTIC vacation at Hawksbill. We chose this resort for the location, amenities, and positive reviews. The price point was also very good. This resort was quiet and laid out in a way that we never felt crowded. The staff are amazing- I cannot say enough about the service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They have recently made some upgrades which add to the beauty. The cottage we stayed in had not been renovated so it did not have a new shower/ bathroom, but we still found it comfortable and very clean. The food is traditional to English and Caribbean style with enough variety that anyone can find something they enjoy. The food was fresh and flavorful. We were celebrating an anniversary and they made it special. We reserved the beach front dinner and is was fantastic! Excellent selections for our multi-course meal. We rented a car and explored the island and found the location perfect - close to St John’s and an easy trip to the airport. This is one of the most relaxing vacations ever and we will return to Hawksbill!

This is an unexpected gem in Antigua. Hawksbill is located on the western side of the island, so you get awesome sunsets every night, which I and many other guests would sip our glass of wine at the main restaurant to enjoy. I had a Royal Palm Beach room that was well appointed and spacious. Every day my mini-fridge was refilled with the beverages of my choice and I had loungers on the beach just for my use. The resort was renovated last year, and from what other guests told me (they go every year) the improvements are many. There is now an infinity pool that looks out to the ocean and is a great way to cool off as the heat rises in the day. The casual Sea Grapes restaurant had one of the best bartenders! And it goes out to one of the four beaches of the resort. Hawksbill also includes non-motorized water sport equipment. We ended up snorkeling around each of the beaches and saw many amazing fish. We also got to meet the swimming pigs that come up on the beaches looking for the mango tree. Another up side to Hawksbill is that it is very chill and not one of the high end style resorts. You are able go enjoy all of the aspects of being in a resort without the snobby attitude.
