We had such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday here. We picked Hawksbill based on the reviews saying that it is a quiet, relaxing place with beautiful views and beaches, which is what we wanted and it didn't disappoint. We stayed in a Honeymoon Cove (/now Oceanfront Room) room which had such nice views and a lovely balcony space. The room is fairly basic and the bathroom decor is a bit dated, but the room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Couldn't fault the food, it can feel slightly repetitive in that each meal there's usually the same type of meat and veggie dishes but all were of a good quality especially for a buffet. Food at sea grapes and PD's grill was also delicious. Service as others have mentioned is slightly inconsistent, most of the time it was good but we stayed over the Easter weekend and noticed a difference in service over the weekend and bank holiday compared to a normal weekday, but not enough for it to have any real affect on our holiday. There were some great staff that stood out throughout our stay including Erroll, Marie, Dellary, Angela and Gerald. We also got married (elopement) at the resort during our stay, and we really enjoyed our day. The whole process was smooth with everything kindly organised by Debbie from everything on the legal side down to the cake, flowers and arranging hair and make up for me. We wanted a simple wedding just the two of us with a stunning sunny back drop and that's what we got. Will definitely be returning to celebrate future anniversaries to come 😊

Came here for our 30th anniversary. Our room had the most amazing view overlooking the beach. Beach clean and well maintained very safe to swim in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was just right. Great island style cuisine, almost felt like I was eating at a friend’s house. The hotel helped me set up a wonderful special on the beach dinner, it was amazing. Delaney our food server was the best, made our special night a delight. Overall the rooms do need a fresher up. Specifically the bathroom but everything works and was most importantly clean. Loved this place

Had a fantastic holiday! It was our first time on the island and all the staff were amazing! The room was clean and everything we needed was restocked daily by housekeeping. The food was great and drinks were spectacular! David looked after us during the day with drinks and Mikayla made lovely cocktails in the evenings. Melinda on reception was very friendly and helpful. All the staff made our stay fabulous! Looking forward to our next visit here.

We loved our stay at the Hawksbill. Aside from the 4 beautiful beaches on the property, the gem of the resort is its staff. They are personable, caring, friendly, and seek to make sure you are having a great experience. As other reviews have said, the rooms are a bit dated, but the resort has changed hands and is undergoing cosmetic updates. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had a spectacular view. Make sure you get to know the staff - Syka has a great sense of humor and laughed with us everyday! Errol at the bar will make you a great cocktail! Bernadette, Odette, Marie, and Noisha will take care of you at the restaurant like you were in their home kitchens. And, Shemary kept our room clean and comfortable (and the minibar stocked!) The groundskeepers are doing a great job with the lush greenscape and beach maintenance. And, the hosts at reception make you feel at home the moment you pull up to the resort. If you are looking for a relaxing, not fussy, comfortable get away - the Hawksbill is a great place. It offers unassuming quiet and solitude with plenty of activities if you’d like to venture out. We will definitely return!

We spent a week at Hawksbill Resort and couldn't be happier with our stay! The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. The food was delicious and plentiful and a couple bars around the resort for cocktails! The staff were truly exceptional—so warm, welcoming, and always going above and beyond to make sure guests were enjoying themselves. The resort itself is perfect for a relaxing getaway. It's peaceful and quiet, with four beautiful beaches to choose from and a lovely pool area. We especially appreciated the shuttle services to St. John’s and Shirley Heights—great for a quick outing without any hassle. One of the highlights was how accommodating the staff were on our departure day. With a late-night flight, we were allowed to enjoy the facilities all day and were even given a room to shower and freshen up before heading to the airport. Such thoughtful service really made a difference.
