Just spent a week here with my family. 4 year old daughter and 8 year old son. What a hotel. Water park and pool areas are excellent. Service is sensational. Beds are comfy and the bar whilst more pricey than out on the street is not grossly overpriced. It was our first time staying with hard rock and won’t be our last. The breakfast is top tier fresh and fantastic. I can not fault a thing. Aircons are great. Kids club cheap at $25 Aussie a day per child for 10 hours. In house nanny’s excellent. Love your work Hard Roxk and we will be back

My family had enjoyed the place and the pool and the kids club is awesome. The breakfast was good and lunch and dinner menu were great. We felt safe and relaxed. We will be coming back soon for along stay. We loved walking to the beach.

We’ve booked another stay at Hard Rock Bali next week — this will be our second time, as we had a great experience previously. The service was good, and my kids really loved the facilities, which is why we decided to return. However, before even checking in, there were a few issues that made me reconsider our choice this time: 1. Cabana Booking Process - I reached out via WhatsApp and email to pre-book a cabana. The replies were slow, and I was told full payment was required in advance and the cabana must be redeemed before 10am on the day itself. I explained we’re happy to pay now, but since check-in is only at 3pm, we won’t be able to arrive that early. I asked if they could hold the cabana until we check in. The response was that we can use the pool and cabana before check-in — but that doesn’t work for us as we’ll still be at another hotel in Bali and have activities planned before checking in. I then requested for the cabana to be held at least until 12pm (since I was going to make full payment), but instead of acknowledging my request, I was simply sent the payment link again — with no clarity on whether they would hold the cabana or release it at 10am as initially stated. This lack of assurance is quite disappointing. 2. Slow Response from Other Departments- I also emailed Starz Diner to reserve a table for Christmas Eve dinner, but the response has been quite slow compared to other resorts I’ve dealt with. I also contacted the reservation team to arrange a small surprise setup for our anniversary stay, but the response has been delayed as well. I’m still hopeful this trip will turn out great like the last one, and that the service during the stay will make up for the experience before arrival. But I do feel a little uncertain and frustrated now, and I truly hope this won’t end up being our last visit to Hard Rock Bali.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hard Rock Hotel Kuta – Truly Exceptional From the moment you arrive, every single staff member you pass greets you with a warm “hello, how are you?” The service is absolutely impeccable — from check-in, security and drivers, to the restaurants and pool staff. It is genuinely the best service I have ever experienced in my life. You are treated like a king and queen from start to finish. The team are always looking out for your needs, whether it’s opening a door for you or making sure you’re heading the right way in the corridors. The attention to detail is something special. Facilities: ATM, money changer, business centre, laundry, room service — everything you need is right on site. The location is perfect: right on the beach with a side entrance to the main street, making everything an easy walk. It’s also fantastic for kids (although we don’t have any, we could clearly see how great the facilities were for families). Pools: The main pool is huge — as big as the eye can see — with a swim-up bar, sand area, shallow and deep zones. Truly world class. My only note is that the Chill Out Pool (Rock Royalty access) doesn’t have accessible steps or stairs to enter, which would make it perfect. Dining: So many great options — Jamie Oliver Kitchen, Hard Rock Cafe, and even the Splash Poolside menu were all excellent. Rock Royalty: Rock Royalty privileges are 10,000% worth it. Turndown service, laundry, free cocktails, lounge access and the breakfast alone justify the upgrade. Room: We stayed in a suite — spacious, comfortable, and cleaned beautifully each day. Cabanas: Cabana hire at $60 for the day is worth its weight in gold. You get a comfy shaded space plus a picnic basket full of snacks. It was a highlight for a lazy pool day, and you can order food and drinks right from your cabana. Despite the hotel being busy, it never felt overcrowded or annoying. It’s vibrant but still relaxed. Most importantly, you feel safe here. We absolutely loved our stay and will 100% return. Highly recommend.

I think I may have had higher expectations going into the Hard Rock Hotel Bali. It’s definitely a cool place with a fun atmosphere, but for my experience, it felt a bit dull overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but nothing really stood out as a “wow” factor. One downside for us was that our room backed up to the main stage, and we could hear live music late into the night. That made it difficult to get proper rest, especially since we had an early tour planned the next day. In my opinion, this hotel seems better suited for families and, entertainment-focused experience rather than a quieter room to sleep at night. Breakfast was okay — what you’d expect from a large hotel serving a lot of people, but nothing memorable. Kuta Beach was also much dirtier than I expected, with a lot of plastic bottles in the water near the larger hotels. To be fair, the city was actively working to clean it up while we were there, but it was still an eye-opening experience for a first visit to Bali. Overall, it was an interesting stay, but I don’t think the Hard Rock would be my first choice next time. There are plenty of other great options on the island that offer better value — just my personal opinion.
