Busy tourist hotel. The rooms are nice, those facing the harbour have wonderful views. Great location. The breakfast is fairly basic. The internet is painfully slow- even internet browsing is limited at peak times, presumably diente low bandwidth. There is no paid fast internet or wired option which will limit those needing it for more data intense professional purposes. The website is wrong - the business centre does not have a wired option and it isn’t open 24h. The front desk staff are somewhat brusque. Bit of a no Fs given attitude. The bottled water thing seems to be a government mandate, but I agree with the other reviews it’s BS they don’t have any water fountains or purifiers. The same number of plastic bottles are therefore wasted, the only difference being you have to schlep them yourself from the 7-11. Edit 1: cockroaches seen at the buffet. Edit 2: the copy paste responses to complaints speaks volumes.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in one of their "Tower Harbourview" rooms. The room was not a room, it was a whole apartment with a living room, a bedroom, a dining area, and a limited kitchette. The views were just incredible especially at night looking across the victoria harbor. The rooms were serviced daily and spotlessly clean. However, do note that, by government mandate, they do not provide toothpaste or toothbrushes or foc water. You can purchase them at the lobby if necessary. The buffet spread was good, sometimes great! There was enough variety and sufficient options for vegetarians too. The breakfast room also has great views of the harbor. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the Hung Hom pier where you can catch the ferry to get across faster. It is also a 10 minute walk from the Whampoa MTR station. The only complaint we had of this "5-star" hotel was that the lobby staff were very indifferent. Nobody even asked to take our bags up to our rooms. No smiles, no warmth, but not unfriendly or rude either. Maybe the indifference stemmed from having too many guests on that particular weekend. I do not really know. They could improve their sense of hospitality; a smile can make the difference between a 4-star and 5-star experience. Overall, I give it 3 stars on googlemaps instead of 4 for this reason alone.

We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite as our room wasn’t ready, even though it was after 3 pm. Great view from our room overlooking the harbour. We had also paid for executive lounge access, it was not a pleasant space. No views, unless you count looking at another building, the selection of food was very limited, only cold meats and one warm savoury dish. There was no sparkling wine available either. The hotel doesn’t have a bar and there is no minibar in the rooms, although there was an ice bucket. We had a table to eat at, with 3 chairs and 1 was broken. No coffee pod machine, only instant coffee in the rooms. No power point in the bathroom, only a shaver point. The only mirror was in the bathroom. It was difficult to dry your hair. We had our towels changed, however found a long black hair on one, I’m a blonde. The hotel did have 3 weddings on, one day and at breakfast the next day, they ran out of bread at 9am. It took them over 1/2 hour to replenish it.

Extremely good place to rest after a long day at work. My HK trip was made very enjoyable compared to my previous trip - I stayed at Tsim Sha Shui area. The residents at Whampoa are very friendly & helpful much less stressful being in the Whampoa area. The eateries are not too bad, with more options available at Tsim Sha Shui/Central, but the room and the slower pace at Whampoa really made a difference. The harbour view from the room is magnificent and made me want to come back for a good rest everyday. 🤭 Will recommend anyone to stay at Harbour Grand Kowloon if they are ok to travel slightly bit more.

Very poor internet connection Nice and quiet hotel in Kowloon, nice view of the harbour. Very comfortable. The WIFI however is very poor, nearly no bandwith at times. If you need to work on the internet during your stay, get another hotel or use a roaming eSim. Also, no bottled water in the rooms and gym. I understand this is due to local regulations restricting complimentary single use plastic items, but at least a water dispenser in the gym to fill up my own bottle would be nice.
