Extremely good place to rest after a long day at work. My HK trip was made very enjoyable compared to my previous trip - I stayed at Tsim Sha Shui area. The residents at Whampoa are very friendly & helpful much less stressful being in the Whampoa area. The eateries are not too bad, with more options available at Tsim Sha Shui/Central, but the room and the slower pace at Whampoa really made a difference. The harbour view from the room is magnificent and made me want to come back for a good rest everyday. 🤭 Will recommend anyone to stay at Harbour Grand Kowloon if they are ok to travel slightly bit more.

Grand big hotel. The food was very good, although we waited 45 mins for a pizza which was disappointing. I guess unlucky on the night. Our room was clean and lovely size. The view over the river was excellent. The staff were all very good and attentive. They do not provide water in the room which in a hot country like Hong Kong is a poor decision. They said it's to save on plastic bottles. I've been in other hotels that do cartons, jugs and water dispensers in the halls. There are many ways to circumvent the waste of plastic. They also did not have a water dispenser Inn their gym which is also an error.

We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite as our room wasn’t ready, even though it was after 3 pm. Great view from our room overlooking the harbour. We had also paid for executive lounge access, it was not a pleasant space. No views, unless you count looking at another building, the selection of food was very limited, only cold meats and one warm savoury dish. There was no sparkling wine available either. The hotel doesn’t have a bar and there is no minibar in the rooms, although there was an ice bucket. We had a table to eat at, with 3 chairs and 1 was broken. No coffee pod machine, only instant coffee in the rooms. No power point in the bathroom, only a shaver point. The only mirror was in the bathroom. It was difficult to dry your hair. We had our towels changed, however found a long black hair on one, I’m a blonde. The hotel did have 3 weddings on, one day and at breakfast the next day, they ran out of bread at 9am. It took them over 1/2 hour to replenish it.

The rooms have no bottled water. I travel a lot and can't remember another hotel like that, it's such a basic need. I expected more from a hotel that positions itself as a 5 star luxury. No coffee machine, empty mini bar fridge. They advertise rooftop pool but it is closed for 4 months or so, no mention of that when you book

Room is spacious with good view of the sea and Hongkong at the other side, location very strategic easy to find food with reasonable prices and walking distance. 7 Eleven is 300 meters walk, you need to buy bottled water if you don't prefer to drink tap water, the hotel do not provide bottled drink water. Breakfast standard as many 5 stars hotel. 3 km walk to Avenue of Star and Tsim Sha Shui
