My wife, 17-year-old daughter and I recently stayed at Harbour Grand Kowloon and had a wonderful experience. We booked through Qantas Hotels with a Harbour Club upgrade and requested a king bed with an extra bed. At check-in, we were informed our room had two twin beds with the sofa bed made up as the third bed. While our daughter initially found the sofa bed quite firm and switched to one of the twin beds from the second night, my wife and I were comfortable sharing the other twin. The Views Room 1739 was a corner room offering the most stunning harbour views we've ever experienced from any hotel room. With windows on two sides, the panoramic Victoria Harbour vistas were absolutely breathtaking and truly made our stay special. The sunrises each morning were spectacular, and the city lights and boats on the harbour were mesmerising. We were so captivated that we slept with the curtains open on our last night. Room Facilities The room had excellent air conditioning and blackout blinds for when we needed complete darkness. The bathroom was excellent with strong water pressure and reliable hot water. Note that it wasn't clear if tap water was potable, and as other reviewers have mentioned, there's no complimentary bottled water in the rooms. We came prepared with water purchased from 7-Eleven at the airport. Hotel Facilities The Harbour Club lounge doesn't have harbour views, but offers a good evening food selection with self-serve alcohol. Special mention to Tiffany at the Club who was lovely and attentive. While the Club breakfast is adequate, the ground floor buffet breakfast offers more variety and spectacular harbour views - highly recommended. The gym features stunning harbour views, and the sauna in the change room is clean and properly hot. The rooftop pool was closed for the season during our visit, but you can still go up to the rooftop to enjoy the incredible views. Location The location is excellent with easy MTR access. Pro tip: the quickest route to the MTR is actually turning right at the hotel entrance then first left, rather than following the signs straight ahead. The taxi ride from the airport takes approximately 45 minutes. Overall We had a great time at Harbour Grand Kowloon. The combination of stunning harbour views from our corner room, convenient location, and friendly staff throughout the hotel made for a memorable stay. While we haven't stayed elsewhere in Hong Kong for comparison, we would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily return.

I chose this hotel expecting a comfortable and premium experience given that it is on the more expensive side. While there were some highlights, overall the stay did not justify the price. ❌ The Disappointing Aspects • Wi-Fi Quality: The internet speed was extremely poor (around 15 Mbps). For a hotel at this price level, this is simply not acceptable — especially for guests who need reliable internet for work or streaming. • No Drinking Water Provided: I understand Hong Kong regulations regarding single-use plastics in hotels. However, many other hotels have found solutions, such as installing water coolers on each floor and providing reusable water flasks in rooms. This hotel did not offer any practical alternative. • Dirty Kettle: The kettle in the room had visible particles inside. It was honestly quite disgusting and raises concerns about housekeeping standards. • TV Quality: The television picture was very poor — flickering and low resolution, almost like watching a TV from the 1990s. Definitely not what you expect from a premium-priced hotel. • Low-Quality Amenities: The in-room tea and coffee were very poor quality. The overall amenities felt cheap and not aligned with the price being charged. ✅ The Good • Magnificent View: The view from the room was absolutely stunning and definitely the highlight of the stay. Waking up to that scenery was beautiful. • Excellent Location: The hotel is located right by the promenade, which makes it perfect for a morning jog or an evening walk. The setting is very pleasant and convenient. • The overall presentation of the property is decent.

Busy tourist hotel. The rooms are nice, those facing the harbour have wonderful views. Great location. The breakfast is fairly basic. The internet is painfully slow- even internet browsing is limited at peak times, presumably diente low bandwidth. There is no paid fast internet or wired option which will limit those needing it for more data intense professional purposes. The website is wrong - the business centre does not have a wired option and it isn’t open 24h. The front desk staff are somewhat brusque. Bit of a no Fs given attitude. The bottled water thing seems to be a government mandate, but I agree with the other reviews it’s BS they don’t have any water fountains or purifiers. The same number of plastic bottles are therefore wasted, the only difference being you have to schlep them yourself from the 7-11. Edit 1: cockroaches seen at the buffet. Edit 2: the copy paste responses to complaints speaks volumes.

Certainly not a 5* hotel as advertised but more of a 3* tourist/business hotel by western standards. Rooms ok and those facing harbour have great views; I doubt that some of the 'city view' rooms ever have direct sunlight due to proximity of other buildings though. Wifi was ok and available throughout. Breakfast buffet was basic and a bit of a bun fight. Evening buffet similar and expensive. Corner cafe also expensive. Staff generally not engaging either in the restaurants or front desk. Notable exceptions were Eddie, Prudence, Shirley and Janet - many thanks to each. Pretty entrance area much admired for weddings but no bar area, no mini bar in room, room service that I could find and main pool.out of action. Good location for promenade walks and MTR but a bit out from main centre and excitements. My TA booked this place for me; I'll make my own choices next time.

Lovely view on the 31st floor, service super friendly, and cleaners do a very good job, everything is very clean. Black out curtains was a plus. Charles on reception was very helpful and friendly. Pool was unfortunate closed, but you can still go outside and enjoy a good view from the terrace, gym was nice and it also has a sauna. It is a bit busy, but understandable for the size of the hotel.
