It’s hard to put into words how amazing our stay was — this place truly stole our hearts. From the moment we arrived, everything felt relaxed, warm, and genuine. No stress, no chaos — just good energy and kind people. The room was spotless and super comfortable. Huge shout-out to Ms. Zuwena — such a lovely person with the kind of smile that brightens your whole day. The AC and fan saved our lives in the heat, and you can see that the hotel is constantly improving — newly renovated rooms look really fresh and modern. Food? One word — incredible. Freshly made breakfasts with exactly what you’re craving, and dinners that felt like fine dining — we still talk about the chicken soup, spring rolls, shrimp, and that warm pineapple dessert (unreal!). You never leave the table hungry here. The surroundings are calm and green, and the monkeys hanging around the bungalows add a fun vibe — like being in a mini safari park. But what truly made our holiday so special were the people. Every single person working here gives their heart to the guests. Special thanks to the legend himself — Manager Sourav. Not only super professional, but also such a great guy. Always around, always helpful, and with time for everyone. Respect, man — hope to meet you again one day! Also big thanks to the amazing waiters and the two kind Masai guards — Jon and Johan — we felt completely safe and looked after. We honestly didn’t want to leave. One week felt way too short. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! The bathrooms are very old and dirty, and the windows in the rooms don’t even have glass, just netting, which makes the air conditioning completely ineffective. We booked for 8 nights but decided to leave after just 2 because of the poor conditions. Unfortunately, the manager refused to offer any kind of partial refund, and the customer service was extremely disappointing and very unhelpful. On arrival, we even found a bloodstain on one of the beds (see photo). Breakfast was extremely minimal, hardly worth mentioning. For this price, there are much better hotels in Zanzibar. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Thoroughly enjoying my stay here. The staff are charming, good food and great vibe. The beach here is clean and spacious. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a tranquil hideaway!
