Stayed at Al Habtoor Palace for a short weekend escape, and overall it was a really comfortable experience. The first thing you notice is how elegant the hotel feels — classic luxury style rather than modern minimal. The lobby and common areas are very well maintained, and everything feels quiet and refined. Room was spacious, clean, and properly serviced every day. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom setup was one of the highlights (great water pressure, good quality amenities). Service was generally good — staff were polite and helpful without being intrusive. Check-in was smooth, although it took a bit longer than expected since it was a busy time. Location is convenient if you’re planning to stay around Business Bay / Sheikh Zayed Road, but not exactly a “walkable” tourist area — so you’ll rely on taxis most of the time. Breakfast had a good variety, but I felt it could be slightly better in terms of rotation if you’re staying multiple nights. Overall, it’s a solid luxury stay with a calm atmosphere. Not overly flashy, but very comfortable and consistent — which honestly matters more.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from the moment we arrived. The check-in process took an extremely long time, and the receptionist, Evans, was slow, unhelpful, and not accommodating. After a long wait at the reception desk, we were finally checked in, but the problems did not end there. This stay was meant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I had contacted the hotel a day before arrival to confirm a birthday cake and special arrangements for the occasion. Despite receiving confirmation, nothing was prepared when we arrived. There was no cake, no decoration, and no effort made to acknowledge the special occasion. In addition, I specifically requested a room with a view, but the room provided did not have the view that was requested. No explanation or alternative solution was offered. The lack of communication, poor organization, and failure to deliver on confirmed requests made what should have been a special celebration very disappointing. I expected much better service and attention to detail. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had, and I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves the quality of guest service.

Went there for dad’s birthday, was the best decision ever. From the moment we got out of the car, till we checked-out, we were always met with kind staff that were willing to help us out, ensuring we were comfortable. The rooms were perfect, as soon as we entered we immediately felt welcomed with the warm lighting everywhere. The layout of the rooms achieved a perfect balance of elegance while also prioritizing a comfortable space to rest after a long, hectic day of activities. An important detail to note was that we were taken back by surprise as to how there weren’t any locks in the main bathroom door, its double door was of frosted glass. The location was great, there’s a lot of space for walking as there’s a creek nearby which is suitable for other forms of physical activity. Around the area we have La Perle, some pubs, and even some restaurants as well. Additionally, attached with this review is a video edit created as a thank you. I booked a one-night stay at Habtoor Palace because I wanted to experience true luxury, but unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. Usually, luxury hotels contact guests before arrival to confirm their reservation, but I did not receive any call or message. By 7:00 PM, I had to call the hotel myself to make sure my room had not been released to another guest. Upon arrival, I was surprised that there were no welcome drinks or any special arrival experience that one would expect from a luxury hotel. The reception area was also difficult to locate, as it was hidden away in a corner. When I reached the reception desk, I waited while a staff member was assisting another guest. However, after telling me that he was not finished yet, he immediately attended to another guest who had just arrived and provided him with his room key. I then waited for approximately 30 minutes before being assisted, and eventually another staff member completed my check-in. When I entered my room, I was hoping for a memorable luxury experience, but I was disappointed to find that the bedsheet was damaged. In my opinion, the hotel would benefit from renovations and upgrades to its facilities and technology to meet the standards expected of a luxury property. Thankfully, I only stayed for one night. Had my stay been longer, I would have regretted spending my money here. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements and renovations are made.
