I have booked flight and hotel as a package with all inclusive. The 1h car trip from airport to the hotel was not bad, due to the prepared shuttle service. Hotel is super clean and in a very good shape, so that vacation atmosphere starts already at the entrance. Buffet is changing every day with mixed local and international food. Very good quality and very friendly service. Several bars offer over the day good coffee drinks and snacks. The pool was a bit cold in the end of May as well as the ocean. The beach is just 50meters downstairs from the pool with amazing sand and water quality. Animations are in a good balance like evening music or a sangria curse. Overall is the atmosphere very cozy and perfect for a relaxing couple holiday.

Lovely hotel and staff! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Esmerelda, a lovely quiet hotel with great views of the beach. A special shout out to Wajdi who looked after us all week. Friendly, polite and extremely talented (speaking 6 different languages!) He always informed us of events happening throughout the day and evening and we really enjoyed taking part in all of these. Wajdi would always check in throughout the day and made our holiday all the more fun. He was lovely to talk to, approachable and a credit to the hotel. We hope to return in the future.

We stayed at this hotel expecting a higher standard, given its 4-star rating, but unfortunately our experience did not match those expectations. The food quality was low, with some meals served undercooked and many dishes lacking proper labels, making it difficult to identify what you’re eating. The burger at the pool restaurant was especially disappointing-bland and poorly prepared. On top of that, mojitos were unavailable every other day, which is surprising for a resort bar. Sunbeds on the hotel’s beach were charged 10€. There was a sign on a hotel exit that this is a case. So it wasn’t a complete surprise. The air conditioning in our room did not work properly, making the stay uncomfortable, especially during warmer days. Another letdown was that the spa is not included in the standard booking—it’s an additional cost, which wasn’t clearly communicated ahead of time. The hotel also has only one small shop on-site with limited options and inflated prices. The staff was mostly nice and friendly. But we were poorly instructed at the reception during our check in, about what we have in the hotel, what is included in the price etc. Also, check-in and check-out were very slow, each taking about 30 minutes, with no clear organization or efficiency. All in all 3 stars, since our vacation was very nice and quiet, which is expected with the majority being older clientele.

Mid March holiday. Impressed with many features of this hotel. Great central bar leading to fantastic view from the outside seating area. Good selection of food and drink. The buffet became a little repetitive after a few days, not much in the way of change or themed evenings. Good service and friendly staff across the board. Shout out to Wajdi, the one man entertainment team for most of the week with a lot of energy going late into the evening. The hotel is on the edge of the resort so 15 minute walk to a modest selection of other bars and restaurants. Overall a good place for peace and quiet and access to stunning beaches

Fantastic location with beautiful apartments. We had everything we needed for a quiet, comfortable stay. The apartments are so roomy and are cleaned nearly every day. Great location, a 5 minute walk down the hill to a beautiful beach. The food is good value but not the huge selection you'd get with a larger hotel. The staff were fantastic. Especially Anya and Joanna on reception.
