I had a deep tissue massage from Karell at the spa today. It was without a doubt the best massage I have ever had. She was so strong and knowledgeable. She was able to find every problem area and I left there feeling wonderful. I would highly recommend her as a skilled masseuse, thank you Karell. Hotel facilities and food were excellent. My only gripe was that our standard room overlooked the hotel delivery area which was very noisy. Deliveries and bin collections at 3am, large metal trollies being wheeled around. Then construction repair work started at 7.30am. Not ideal. We tried to pay for an upgrade but were informed this wasn’t possible. The entertainment was fine, but very cheesy and dated. Could do with an update. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location and we shall return but to a sea facing room next time.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in during over 20 years of visits to the Canary Islands. Everything about the hotel was immaculate and the staff were always very efficient and friendly. Our first evening at the hotel one of the staff said they were there to look after us - and they certainly did. The meals were excellent and there was always enough choices to suit everyone. There were always plenty of sunbeds available whichever pool we decided to use, and the heated pool was like a warm bath. This hotel certainly gets 10/10 from us.

We had our first holiday at the H10 Gran Tinerfe hotel in 1978 and although travelled to other countries over the years, we kept coming back. We love the island and for many reasons decided that returning to this hotel was like coming home. We've always been half-board in a Junior Suite with the most beautiful views of the sea, the sunsets and La Gomera. All staff that we meet are very respectful, friendly, efficient, professional and for ever smiling, and they're always ready for a chat. This year we opted for a stay of 42 nights and are currently half-way through. We chose 42 nights to celebrate our fourty-second stay. We prefer the self-service buffet restaurant with it's extensive range of good quality food for breakfast and dinner to suit all tastes. All the public areas are bright, attractive and clean and the heated pool is a welcome bonus in the winter. Our housekeeper Anna, works so hard and greets us every morning. The hotel location is perfect - virtually on the beach - and ideal for long walks to either Los Cristianos or La Caleta. The hotel has a private, secure car park with over 20 bays. I would suggest one makes a reservation direct with the hotel. Become a member of Club H10 and get 5% discount, plus an extra birthday discount. Accumulate points to Grand Class for those little extra treats. We'll be back next year.

Travelled as a couple. 4th visit to this hotel. Stayed on half board basis in a Privilege room on the 8th floor. Reception process was good, as they recognised we had been before we did not need a tour of the hotel, but this is offered to guests once checked in. There is a requirement to pre-load your wristbands with an amount of euros to cover any additional expenses you want charged to your room. As we're a member of the H10 Club, we had points that could be converted to euros on the band. Any unused euros is converted back to points once checked out. A very seamless process which went smoothly. Generally speaking our visit this time was good (travelled late Jan, early Feb). Had breakfast in the privilege restaurant, El Mirador each day. Good service and quality of food on offer. Only hadacouple of evening meals there - also good, although the 'special of the day' on one occasion was not brilliant (fish and chips), where the fish was not cooked very well and had to be returned. We particularly like to access to the privilege lounge from the dedicated sun lounge area, and made use of this daily. Some other H10 hotels we've been to don't have this 'linked facility', but where it does exist it is very welcome. Overall we would recommend H10 Gran Tinerfe as a destination and holiday resort, and we'll return in the future.

Nice service, beautiful sea view. Somewhat faded cheap luxury & overpriced at €260/suite. The one main problem is the Costa Adeje location- overbuilt & crowded mass tourism. But if you don’t mind that, this hotel is top. Quiet pool. Good for reading. Breakfast is poor quality, despite big selection. Outdoor seating with sea views is much better than indoor canteen feeling.
