This hotel was an excellent value for its price point. The views are absolutely stunning, it’s right on the beach, there’s a rooftop terrace, the bedroom balconies are well furnished, and the area is quiet. Everyone that works there is great, especially Rodrigo at the bar and the servers at breakfast. The breakfast had a large variety of great options and there were many tables both inside and outside to choose from. Camp de mar is very quiet and feels safe. The parking is not the easiest. Best part in my opinion was that the hotel was adults only! The entire stay was quiet and relaxing. I would stay there again!

My Review

The location of the hotel is wonderful as it is right on the beach. Camp de Mar has a lovely calm bay with clear water. The beach can get pretty busy during the day though, but there seems to be enough space for everyone. The pool at the hotel is small, but there is the sea to swim in. It's more of a dipping pool, than a swimming pool. There are not enough sun loungers and umbrellas by the pool for all guests. Occasionally a notice is put on the loungers where they have been reserved by people and then not used for hours, stating that if the loungers are left empty for 20 minutes, then the towels would be removed. However, it's an empty threat, as the hotel never enforced this, and I only saw them put the notices out once during a week long stay. There is space for extra loungers, but the hotel hasn't provided any more. If you want a sun lounger, it is advisable to reserve yours by about 8am. There is no bar service around the pool. There is a pool bar, but you aren't served at your lounger. I'm sure the hotel would make more money if they offered this - and they could purchase more sun loungers for their guests! The breakfast is mediocre. The fresh fruit was the best - freshly sliced melon, watermelon, oranges and grapefruit, and pineapple, but this was under ripe every day. The pastry selection is poor. The croissants don't taste like croissants either. The cereal selection is sub par too. They have dried oatmeal - but don't offer a cooked version. Granola would be a great breakfast food, but that isn't on offer. The gym is dated, and for some reason doesn't open until 8am (after breakfast has started). It isn't manned, so we don't understand why they don't have it open at 6 or 6.30am so you can work out before breakfast, and then enjoy the day by the pool or beach, or out somewhere. Apparently if you want to use the hot tub or sauna, you need to inform reception in advance to switch these on. We had a premium sea view room. We were originally given one at the corner, which has a partially obscured view from the other rooms along the side. Fortunately we were able to move rooms straight away and the view was better. I do wonder why we weren't given this better room to start with as it was available. We had paid for this after all. We had a good stay, but were disappointed by the quality of the hotel. Other guests we spoke with were also disappointed.

H10 Blue Mar Big enough to have all necessary facilities and more and small enough to be cosy and intimate, located in a beautiful little bay and town, close to very good restaurants and amenities and a short taxi ride away to nearby towns where one can find bigger tourist hubs. Now, the point to note and stress is the staff, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left they were amazing. The care given to us, recommendations and assistance elevated our holiday experience to a level which we would not have reached without them. As a couple of examples, in our group we had people with dietary and drinking restrictions, and the staff went out of their way to find it on the island and arranged for us to get it. Also, another of our group celebrated his birthday whilst there, and upon hearing this, they gave him a complementary “present” from the hotel to add to his day. In general, not only were they very efficient, but also done with pleasure and a smile. We found out there is a shortage of workers throughout the Island, we did not notice it at the Hotel, what we did notice was that in hospitality is concerned, they have the Top Notch employees. The only thing they did not do was to enjoy our holiday for us…. Thank you all again and hopefully see you soon.

Absolute find. Boutique without being bouji, if that makes sense. Beach, pool, bar, numerous restaurants, all within 1 minute of the hotel breakfast area. Really good value, but we were there in May. I can imagine the whole coast gets really busy in June, July and August. A really easy place to recommend for couples and small groups. We were part of a wedding party and would definitely go back. Bombed down the motorway from the airport, took 30 minutes this time.
