No denying this is a beautiful hotel and the food hall was very good but I have never met reception staff that are so rude or unhelpful in a 5 star hotel as I did in this hotel. Really impacted negatively on our holiday. I would not return. Our friends have an apartment nearby so we were celebrating two of their birthdays but were unable to get them a day pass and they weren’t allowed to come into our hotel at all. I would go so far as to describe some of the reception staff and security as hostile and intimidating. Really spoilt what could have been a superb break. Furthermore one day we were sunbathing around the pool and we noticed my husband’s sugar level is low as he is diabetic. I went to the pool bar to order some food. I was asked if I’d made a reservation (which I didn’t think would be necessary as there was about 15 tables available). So I said no but I’d like to reserve one. The waitress asked me to use the app to make a reservation. I couldn’t remember my apple password so couldn’t download it so she actually refused to serve me any food!!! This is supposed to be a relaxing holiday. The owners really need to address this. We would have spent a lot more money in the hotel using the facilities but instead we used our money outside of the hotel to dine and socialise with our friends as it was so unwelcoming. Such a shame as the view from our room was stunning and the facilities excellent.

This is an amazing hotel. We stayed here end of March 2025 and we enjoyed every bit of what they had to offer. The buffet, snackbar and restaurants offer a very high quality of food. Any cocktails are served with picture (& taste) perfect excellence. The rooms are beautiful, so are all the (very well maintained) facilities. The gym is OK and open 24/7. We did not test the Spa. There is a nice buffer between the family pool (which has an amazing water castle, by the way) and the other pools, so don't be afraid of any disturbance caused by kids being loud or so. The staff is genuinely friendly and offers great service.

My kids and I had a blast at H10 Atlantic Sunset. The hotel was very well kept, the rooms spacious and clean, the staff attentive and friendly, most of all the hotel was located in a quiet and peaceful area of the island. We really enjoyed the Privilege service we got with our room. The lounge was nice to visit through out the day and their breakfast and dinner service was top notch. I recommend getting the Privilege room, just for this added service. The infinity pool for Privilege guests was also really relaxing and wonderful to rest.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. Always had a great time, But this time, our visit was a different story. First of all, after a long and late flight, we checked into our room, which turned out to be 2 single beds, despite us booking and paying for a double room with a double bed. When we contacted reception, they stated that the hotel was full and we would have to wait until other guests checked out the following day (after 2pm, once the room had been cleaned). When we finally checked into our correct room, we tried to open the balcony door, so our surprise, the sliding door was jammed shut. Again, we contacted reception, who stated that they would send up a maintainence person. This person never showed up. The following day, despite us putting the sign on the door for our room to be cleaned, we got back and the room had not been touched. We then had to contact reception again, who send cleaners up while we waited outside on the balcony. 2 days later, we returned to our room again, to find that the cleaners had removed our old towels and failed to replace them. Again, reception was contacted. We also noticed that our mini bar had not been restocked. We are aware that the hotel staff were under increased pressure, due to the 2 day strike, however, all of the above issues occurred before the strikes had even started. From the moment we got there, the low moral of staff was evident, which progressively worsened during our stay. This was reflected in the cleanliness of the restaurant and the service of some of the staff around the hotel. Despite continuous re-booking of this same hotel, it brings us great sadness that we will not be returning to this hotel ☹️

Overall, this is a stunning hotel in a brilliant location – clean, modern, with great pools and fantastic facilities. We went Privilege Half Board and had a lovely time, but a few things let it down slightly. The biggest standout was the food – the View restaurant was excellent and the staff there were brilliant. The teppanyaki experience was a real highlight – the food and service were top notch and well worth booking. The spa and pool areas are also fantastic and really well looked after. That said, there were some things that didn’t quite make sense. Entertainment finished at 10:30pm, which felt a bit early, especially as it’s meant to be a five-star resort. Also, as Privilege guests, we found it confusing and a bit frustrating that you weren’t allowed to take drinks from the Privilege lounge to dinner – despite it being literally a few feet away. It’s something we’ve never had an issue with at other H10 hotels. Drinks in the lounge also stop at 10pm, which again seems a bit early. On top of that, the rooftop bar – even though it’s in the Privilege area – isn’t actually included in the Privilege package, which felt misleading. The rooms are the same as standard rooms with a few added extras like a coffee machine, but nothing major to really make them feel “Privilege”. Another small annoyance was that no glass is allowed by the pool (understandable), but drinks are served in glass, so you have to go back and swap them out yourself – which felt like it could be better managed. And reception staff, while mostly helpful, were a bit short at times when asked questions. One morning there was a partial power cut during breakfast, which caused a significant delay – these things happen, but again, it added to a few niggles. Everything has to be reserved – restaurants, sunbeds, spa, etc. – even when places were visibly empty. It just felt a bit over-managed at times. That all said, the hotel really is beautiful and the atmosphere was generally very relaxing. With a few tweaks, this would be a solid five-star experience, but as it stands, just a few quirks took the shine off slightly.
