Whilst a nice looking hotel with an extensive and impressive lobby, the customer service is non existent and facilities are made for fair weather. Very few smiles from any staff members and an overall feeling from them of ‘just getting it done’ rather than attentive service for a four star hotel. A good hotel if you’re looking for hotel entertainment but loud at night time until 11pm+, with some noise audible from the rooms above the bar. Whilst we stayed, our balcony flooded our room (see video) and on the first night as the rain wasn’t sustained, we called reception and the cleaning team (who were excellent throughout) mopped it all up and put towels in place. The next night, it was torrential rain and after two hours of this, the hotel called and sent up more towels which wasn’t enough this time. In essence, the balcony leant inwards which meant that the doors allowed water through them and into the room, rather than to soak away. Poor design and so my husband went down to ask for another room. No apology from the staff or concern as water was literally through the room and into the en-suite at this point, but after some discussion we were moved rooms to a sea view which was better and no leaks. The hotel is designed for pretty pictures and isn’t water tight for rain. From my pictures you can see that leaks were the case throughout the hotel. Three lifts were out of service for the duration of our stay, which was a pain for us but would have made it difficult to access for those in a wheelchair. Overall, an okay stay but not the service or friendliness I’ve usually had any other 4* hotels which felt like a bit of a disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and would have preferred to stay in the nicer area of La Caleta.

Spent a week here on an all inclusive package (not platinum) based on the first floor right on the beach front. The room was immaculate but the restaurant/bar outside the hotel plays really loud music from 7-11pm (but not on Sunday and Monday so we got a break). Personally I struggled to get a decent nights sleep because the twin beds pushed together and the mattresses are very soft so it was difficult to get comfortable. Eventually we just flipped the bed around and sleeping was a lot better. We ate in the food market most nights. The service was quick, the food was delicious but it was very much the same each night so got a little bit repetitive. We were entitled to one night meal in the roast restaurant and despite the food being nice on the main menu we waited for a long time to get served or checked on so didn't end up staying too long and had our main and left. The sun bed booking system is great, we never had to worry about not finding a bed for the lazier days. If you are not too bothered about the pool I recommend the sunset area. Very quiet and chill and a bar with snacks right next to the loungers. The night entertainment was good. The rock music was the best night for atmosphere as the other entertainers kind of played the same music every night but still entertaining. We really wanted to try the spa but couldn't justify the prices for treatments and length of time that you get in the facility itself. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and think the hotel is great and we would recommend it to any one looking for a luxury style hotel on the beach front.

Amazing looking hotel, right on the beach and by the bars and shops. Location couldn’t be better! My friend and I stopped on an all inclusive basis in a standard room. The view from our room wasn’t amazing but we did have the benefit of not being by the bars and restaurants so it was nice and quiet. The room was very clean and the staff did an amazing job, even fanning our PJs out on the bed which was a very sweet touch! The bed was very soft and comfortable. Ours was huge! The pool area was lovely and plenty of sunbeds to choose from. The pools are quite small considering the amount of people. It was very busy when we stayed so it was difficult to try and do some quick laps without bumping into someone accidentally. The booking of the sunbed system was brilliant as we didn’t have to worry about not getting one. We paid €20 for a Bali bed which was so comfortable and gave us plenty of shade from the sun when we needed it. Amazing views of the beach from the sunbeds too. There was one outdoor bar by the pool area which didn’t seem enough to cater for the amount of sunbeds really. The queues could get quite long and it didn’t open until 10:30am, even for soft drinks. The bar by the pool didn’t do snacks or ice cream so had to go to the bar upstairs which was annoying. Food was okay really. Breakfast was lovely, but lunch and dinner seemed quite repetitive but you could order from the menu if you wanted too. I did really feel for the staff who seemed absolutely rushed off their feet. You couldn’t help yourself to drinks, and had to wait to be served and we ended up waiting quite a while. The staff were lovely, and you could see they were really struggling to keep up with demand. Please hire more staff for meal service! The staff in general were absolutely lovely, very friendly, welcoming and a little bit cheeky! There just wasn’t enough of them sadly. Over all, we really enjoyed our stay but there was a few niggles which we could overlook due to how nice the hotel is. We would deffo come back!

Really good experience, the staff are so helpful and really wanted to make us welcome. The location was really good as it’s next to the beach and lots of shops near by. Only one downside was our room was a direct view of the sea that was amazing but came at the cost of the restaurant/bar in front of it plays music until midnight and the room doesn’t block the noise. It’s not the hotels fault but just it’s worth knowing.

We have stayed in many hotels in Tenerife, both 4 and 5 star hotels. I’ll start with the positives: Great location to go and walk evenings. All staff very friendly. Great drink quality, food is good. However this also will come up in the negatives. Bracelets for room access and clocking in for drinks are a nice touch. The staff are accommodating to your needs. Negatives: Not sure we would class this as a strong 4 star. 1 main food hall, this becomes a bit crowded getting the foods. Rooms aren’t fantastic although you are on holiday, rooms should only be there to sleep and shower in my opinion, so if you enjoy a good room, you maybe disappointed. The beds are 2 singles pushed together and made separately, and the stone floors are dangerous when wet. The glass on the balcony’s makes it too hot to sit in an evening if chilling. The bar takes way too long to get served which annoys me, not because we drink a lot, just seems understaffed for an all inclusive, however the bar staff do make up for that a little bit, because they are great. The sun bed booking system is a great idea, but has glitches and if you aren’t great with tech, this would intimidate some people, therefore leaving an awkward moment to tell someone they are in your sun bed. Some areas feel very close to others. I would give this a 5 star review with everything above if it wasn’t sold as an expensive all inclusive hotel that should have blown us away. For these prices, you expect that little bit more. However it will be all on personal likings, so don’t let it put you off, it’s still a nice hotel.
