It's obviously not a terrible hotel, the food was good, the rooms are fine, the views are lovely, but there were so many issues with our stay it really took away from our experience: We booked a room with a jacuzzi bath, the guy taking us to the room told us how great they were, when we arrived we discovered they had all been taken out due to renovations. We were offered a spa voucher as compensation. The tap was leaking in the (normal) bath and the electricity wasn't working (this was fixed after a couple of complaints) The heating wasn't working in the rooms, which took a while to work out that it wasn't just us being inept. Again sorted out after some changes. The spa voucher was for a heated pool and use of the hot tub there. The hot tub said only for children over 16 and was pretty filthy water. The heated pool was obviously heated, but also very obviously chilly. The other heated pools at the hotel were the same - a bit unpleasant to enter and the children got blue lips after 30 minutes or so. Fine, but when we booked this place specifically as it had heated pools for an April holiday I don't think it was over the top to assume that heated meant warm. Maybe we should have complained at the time. Given how chilly the pools were, we generally waited until the afternoon to go in. A couple of times we asked for pool towels and there weren't any available. We also booked partly because of the aqua park, maybe if I'd rung up beforehand I would have worked out that this wasn't the heated kids pool that was quoted on the site, but the water was so cold that it was basically unusable which is a real shame. Other smaller things that I wasn't aware of were that the restaurant area by our room was closed (as we're some of the other restaurants) and there was building work going on (not particularly disruptive, but there were loads of screws left on the floor in the area around our room). The rooms had TVs that were meant to be able to mirror phones, but we couldn't get that to work at all. Basically should be a great hotel, but definitely wasn't when we went. Some good communication would have helped, as would just one heated pool that was actually pleasant to be in (and ideally the aqua park). The staff at the children's club seemed brilliant though!

Excellent hotel, the service received from the staff is second to none. Facilities are great, and the restaurants very good. I would recommend to anyone. We enjoyed our stay so much, we're going again in May this year.

We had a great stay at this resort! Upon arrival, we had an issue with our first room as it was noisy due to air conditioning units near the balcony. However, the staff were quick to resolve the situation, and the next day we were moved to a much better room, which really made our holiday special! The food and drinks were excellent, especially the cocktails at the Lobby Bar and Roc Bar. The entire resort was very clean, and the pools and beach were fantastic, especially for families with kids. The water in the aqua park was a bit colder than in the pools, but still fun. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway!

The hotel is in a great location and has brilliant facilities. due to a mix up we were initially in a noisy room next to the sports areas but then were moved to the correct room in the newer case marina block which was far quieter and much more aesthetically pleasing. This move took a couple of days (delayed due to norovirus) but made the stay much nicer. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough to assist. The beach and pools are brilliant and the water park was way better than expected, food was good and had a great selection at the various bars and buffets. On the second day we all contracted the virus despite using gloves to get food and washing hands but it was obvious people were not quarantining and still mixing whilst contagious. It cost us £900 euros to get medical treatment from the doctor that the hotel uses but we were feeling so ill we had to do something. We all stayed in our room for 3 days and the hotel frequently contacted us to ask if we needed anything bringing to our rooms. We thought the holiday was ruined but once we were better we made the most of the few remaining days and had an enjoyable time but avoided the restaurants as understandably we were put off by the other customers clear poor hygiene. After all this virus is transmitted in human waste! I would say that due to the number of people infected at this and other local hotels, Jet2 failed in their duty of care and should have warned people or cancelled the holiday. It’s also noteworthy that one of the measures the hotel put in place was hand sanitizer at the door of the restaurant, however as per NHS website, norovirus cannot be killed by alcohol based sanatizer , which means that anyone hygiene conscious will have pressed the pump which itself must have been a great common place where the virus spread. I also believe the hotel could have explained what the situation was so people could have made an informed decision about using communal areas.

This hotel is a great place for families, we have had the best stay, we were all inclusive and the food was great and nothing was too much trouble, there is a waterpark which was fun for a couple of hours, we took a few excursions so was a ideally situated. The town was great in the evening with some very nice places to eat. All in all we will be back.
