We had an amazing time at Grecotel Creta Palace. The hotel is beautifully designed with very well maintained grounds and gardens. What particularly stands out is the 5* service. All the staff are very friendly and professional. We were on half board and we really enjoyed both breakfasts and dinners. The food was always fresh and delicious with loads of choices for everyone's taste and requirements. The only issue we had was the bathrooms. They really need upgrading with proper walk in showers instead of the baths. Apart from that it's a fantastic hotel with a great location for interesting sights to visit. I would definitely recommend it. Thank you Grecotel Creta Palace for our lovely holiday.

Perfectly located close to the charming Rethymnon, this is a great family hotel - one of the top choices on the island. Large beach, beautiful gardens, a great little "mini village" with convenience store and coffee shop, play area for the children. The rooms are clean and staff is generally friendly and helpful. Definitely a place you will miss after you leave.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. A treat break for my Wife's 50th birthday and our 20th wedding anniversary. Just brilliant. Luxurious and relaxing. The rooms, service, staff, food were all excellent. Thank you for making our celebration so perfect.

We stayed at the Grecotel Creta Palace in October 2023. The accommodation on the website does not match the reality. These are not bungalows, they are small blocks of apartments. We booked a Deluxe Family Bungalow. It was suitable for a couple and two small children, not the three adults that made up my party. The second bedroom (good luck finding a picture of one of these on the Creta Palace Hotel website) had two small, single beds. The housekeeping was superb. Clean towels every day, room cleaned, beds made. Perfect! We had a breakfast and evening meal package. The quality and quantity of the food cannot be faulted. Everything cooked to perfection. The waitress/waiter service was excellent. The hotel facilities are excellent. Gym, pool, gardens are all maintained to a very high standard. The beach is wonderful. Plenty of sunbeds, towels provided. My only real gripe was being charged for coffee pods in the room. Even in the most basic of hotels, you would expect these to be included. Charging €2 for a Nespresso pod is a lame move. I would like to say how friendly every member of staff was.

We’re a couple who stayed for 7 nights with a 3 year old. Here’s my take: • Rooms (4 out of 5): Stayed in one of their rooms which had a great view of the sunrise. They were beautifully decorated. However, they were a bit noisy at times (from 8PM until 10:30PM when live concerts happen) and could use some updates. • Cleanliness (5 out of 5): The room was spotless, and housekeeping did an excellent job. • Staff (5 out of 5): Felt like I was amongst friends, not just hotel employees. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. • Food (5 out of 5): Food was a highlight! Had most of my meals at their buffet, and it didn't disappoint. • Beach (5 out of 5): Enjoyed the beach, though there were a few rocky areas. • Location (5 out of 5): Perfectly placed. Close enough to the town for quick visits, but far enough that you're enveloped in peace and tranquility.
