Spent a week here with my wife and two young kids. Hector by the pool and all the nice waiters at the restaurants made the trip special for us. The girls from the kids club were very nice. The food is good, you won’t go hungry. Some days were better than others at the buffet but always choices. The check in and check out process was not great and could be improved, in our opinion. The bracelets are not comfortable and can’t be adjusted but if you pull on them they tighten and won’t loosen. If you want to replace them they charge you ridiculous fees. The kids would play with them and tighten so we just cut them off. My wife cut hers off the night before we left as it was giving her a rash and misplaced it. On checkout they wanted to charge us for it. So we stressed out going through our luggage trying to find it while our airport shuttle was waiting for us. I understand they have policies but it would have been so much easier if they just said don’t worry about the bracelet, thanks for spending $7000 here, have a safe flight home…instead of getting us all stressed looking for a bracelet. It’s a small thing i realize but it was our last impression of the resort and it didn’t feel great leaving. But even so we thank the nice staff who made our vacation special.

Me and my husband had a fantastic time spending our honeymoon at the Grand Royal Park Resort. It was a relaxing environment with a mix of families, couples, singles, young and old. The staff were amazing and attentive and always eager to help. The food was delicious and the view from our hotel was breathtaking. I want to thank Alejandro, Hector, Sarah and Francisco for making our stay special and for going the extra mile. The pool was relaxing and the drinks were next level and consistently well done. When I close my eyes, I’m still at the resort and dreaming about our stay.

During our recent stay at the Grand Park Royal Cancun, one of the absolute highlights of our trip was dining at the Italian restaurant on the property. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service, but what truly made the experience special were their incredible staff members. Rene, our waiter, went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. His attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and genuine passion for what he does really stood out. He took the time to explain each dish, made thoughtful recommendations, and ensured our experience was perfect from start to finish. He made us feel not just like guests, but truly welcomed and valued. On a different night, our waiter, Carlos was equally fantastic—his professionalism and energy added to the atmosphere of the evening. As for the food—it was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. From the appetizers to the dessert, each bite reflected the quality and care of the kitchen. To make the night even more special, we had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who came out to greet us personally. It was such a thoughtful gesture and showed how much pride and passion goes into the food being served. We ended our dinner feeling completely satisfied, both by the incredible food and the exceptional service. This experience truly elevated our stay at Grand Park Royal, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you to Rene, Carlos, the chef, and the entire team at the Italian restaurant—you made our vacation extra special!

This resort is very organized and very clean. It has a very good family environment and we felt secure at this resort. The food is good specially at the Flor de Sal’s restaurant. I’m very thankful for Josmar at Lunch and Jose& Braulio at Breakfast at Flor de Sal. They were very friendly and attentive and we felt very welcomed. Thanks for the excellent service from the waiter Gregorio at the snack bar. Carlos from Room Service and Edgar from the Veranda Buffet are also very professional and friendly! We loved this family vacation however there could’ve been more activities and a more energetic environment. Also we went during April and there was very little seaweed at the beach but the wind was very strong causing waves that made the water a little rough.
