I recently returned from an amazing vacation, and I just had to share how wonderful the experience was—especially at the main pool. The resort itself was beautiful, relaxing, and well-maintained, but what really stood out was the exceptional service from the pool bar staff, particularly Roberto. Roberto, who worked at the pool bar at the main pool, went above and beyond every day to make sure guests were comfortable and taken care of. He was always friendly, professional, and attentive—greeting everyone with a warm smile and a great attitude. Whether it was mixing up refreshing drinks, remembering guests’ favorite orders, or simply checking in to make sure everyone was happy, Roberto made a lasting impression. His customer service was top-notch and genuinely made our pool days even more enjoyable. It’s not often you come across staff who make you feel so welcome and valued, but Roberto truly did. He’s a big part of why our vacation felt so special, and I hope the resort recognizes what a great team member they have in him.

The overall resort was nice. Stayed in the Premier building. When arrived, was put in room 1012 that had an odor and the room was on the bottom floor without the requested patio. There was a green area that prevented you from viewing the beach. Went back to the front desk and was moved to room 1210. Slight odor as well. Luckily we had our own cleaning supplies to add a clean and smell free touch. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, Hibachi and the seafood area for the tilapia whole fried fish. Best servers: Hands down great experience and service all the time from Noe and Ricardo at the Premier adult pool. Overall good experience at resort. Make sure to see Noe and Ricardo for the best service ever!!!!!!!

Wow! This is a great resort with a wide range of food. All of the employees we encountered were great. The only things we didn't like is how unwilling they were help us book excursions and how pushy they were in selling other items. Other than that, the rooms are beautiful. Our view was mid but we stayed in the nicer tower so we had a personal assistant who was helpful at times.

Stayed at the Adults only tower. The room was clean, spacious and the view was amazing. Service at the restaurants and bars were also very good. The food could be better (hence the 4 stars) but the Lounge and Steakhouse (extra $$) were on point! The Reef bar was amazing and Tina, Gilberto, and rest of staff there was extremely nice and attentive. My butler, Alejandro, was also great and helped with reservations and anything I needed.

This is my second staying at this resort, and it was even better than the first. I wasn’t even supposed to stay here this go around because I booked at another resort. However, that resort was horrendous and I kept comparing my stay to the experience I had at the first time I went to Grand Park Royal. So I cancelled my first stay after the first night, checked out, and fortunately was able to book the remainder of my stay here. The staff is INCREDIBLE - even if they’re just walking by you, you will be greeted. Also, special shoutout go Johan who was our waiter by the beach who went above and beyond to check on us and our drinks literally every 10 minutes. And they aren’t friendly for tips, they are just genuinely nice. The rooms all have an ocean view (not partial), which is also amazing. The king bed was like a California king with down-like pillows and a light duvet which was very comforting.The food is great. I would’ve liked more breakfast options, but I appreciated the Mexican breakfast options in addition to the regular foods. Nonetheless dinner and lunch were amazing! And best part of all, the restaurants don’t require a 24 hour in advance reservation. All in all, my almost disaster vacation ended up wonderfully!
