We loved our time at Grand Park Royal. Our butler Jessica was amazing and a lot of fun. We do think the food could be better and the lack of pizza was strange even though there were old signs for “Pizza Corner”. The beach was beautiful and we loved our room. The amenities and property was great but we do wish the pools were heated. Ultimately any issues we had were due to limited communications unless we directly asked for additional information. We’d have preferred a push approach to information and marketing materials vs a pull approach. There were lots of opportunities for improved advertising and communication from hotel management. We would come back here but would hope to see an improvement in food and availability of food. Portion sizes were good but quality could be increased. A beer and liquor list would be ideal, if it exists we couldn’t find it. You just sort of had to know what you wanted. For most people this resort is perfect balance of value and quality. If you want real luxury you’re going to have to pay in a more elite tier of $600+ night. We did really enjoy that they scheduled transportation with us through Denver Transfers. Our driver Ivan could have communicated better but he’s ultimately an amazing person who even helped us find a lost item. Hopefully when we revisit someday we can update this review to a 5/5.

Ignacio truly made our stay in Cancun memorable. He is an outstanding bartender—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what he does. From the moment you sit down, he makes you feel welcome and taken care of, remembering preferences and always serving drinks with a smile. His energy and professionalism added so much to our experience, and he’s absolutely one of the highlights of this resort. Overall, the resort itself is beautiful and relaxing. The beach location is incredible—pristine, well-kept, and not overcrowded at all, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the ocean. It’s a great place if you’re looking for a calm, laid-back atmosphere rather than a party scene, as there isn’t much nightlife on property. A few things to note for future guests: food portions across the resort tend to be on the smaller side, so you may find yourself ordering more than one dish. The gym closes at 8 PM, which felt a bit early for anyone who prefers evening workouts. Koi Oriental, while nicely presented, didn’t quite live up to the hype and felt overrated compared to other dining options. That said, the service—especially from Ignacio—along with the stunning beach truly stands out. If you’re looking for a peaceful Cancun getaway with excellent service and a bartender who makes every drink (and moment) better, this resort delivers.

Been there 6 month ago. Food is absolutely a joke. Everything not eatable. Only good place is hibachi. Buffet is horrible, literally same 3 things every single times - we had to eat somewhere outside the resort for the first time. Everything is old and smells. Drinks are okay. Barely can find any space after 9am. People putting towels at 6am and then showing up at lunch time. I guess it’s new norm. My in-laws shower glass broke - they didn’t replace it - and my mother in law actually cut her foot. NEVER AGAIN! Do not recommend. There are so many better options

Damian was hands down one of the best parts of our entire trip. He took great care of us and clearly cared about doing a good job. He was warm, relational, and genuinely kind. My husband and I visited during our honeymoon and had an amazing time, but we especially cannot say enough good things about Damian. Overall, the service was good, and I truly have only positive things to say. Our only less-than-great experience was at the Mexican restaurant, and that had nothing to do with the waitstaff themselves. It was clear they were understaffed, which led to longer waits and service that felt rushed. That said, we felt genuinely appreciated by the resort, especially during our hibachi dinner, where we were surprised with a dessert that neither my husband nor I had requested. Easily one of our favorite parts of the trip was getting to know Damian and experience his genuine craft.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Park Royal Cancún! The resort is beautiful, right on a pristine stretch of Caribbean beach with great pools, friendly staff, and plenty of dining options. The all-inclusive experience really let us relax and enjoy every moment of our vacation. Our absolute favorite restaurant was Le Grand Prime — the food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. What made it truly memorable was our waitress, Alicia! She was the perfect embodiment of great service and personality! Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, Alicia made every meal special, and we loved having her as our waitress. We can’t recommend her highly enough!
